This study aimed to develop a program that can be linked to gardening education activities in elementary students' curriculums and creative experience learning courses, and to apply the developed program to 6th graders in an elementary school located in Seoul. Research was conducted in a large category called biophilia, which named the instinct of human nature and nature throughout the research. The curriculum revised in 2015 was selected for the purpose of the garden education program based on the objectives and contents of the unit, and for the purpose of the class. In the process of developing and implementing the program, experience properties and elements were divided into direct and indirect experience of nature, including shapes and forms found in nature, air, water, plants, weather, animals, and natural materials. The results showed that the biophilic horticultural education program was effective in promoting students' multi senses. In the case of the experimental group, all the multi-sensory areas showed statistically significant differences, especially in the area of environmental literacy, environmental effect and emotional balance including plant cultivation knowledge. There was a relatively smaller difference in the dietary effect area than other areas because of no directional dietary program was included in the developed program. As a result, first, it is expected that the data can be utilized on site as a program or place of activity for students in upper grades. Second, it will be necessary to develop a more diverse program using other biophilic elements that were not covered in this study in order to maximize the effects of biophilic education.

본 논문은 대학 교육에 있어서 실시간 온라인 교육의 효과적인 운영을 위한 고려요소를 탐색하는 목적을 지닌다. 대학 교육에서 실시간 온라인 교육이 확대되고 있다. 하지만 성공적인 운영이 이루어지기 위해 고려해야 할 핵심 요소가 무엇인지를 학습자의 경험과 인식을 통해 종합적으로 탐색한 연구는 미흡하다. 그룹면담을 통한 질적 분석과 다차원척도 분석법을 활용하여 학습자의 경험과 인식을 통해 고려요소와 개선방안을 확인하였다. 연구 결과, 효과적인 운영을 위해 상호작용이 중요하게 고려되어야 하며, 학습자 간 라포 형성이 이루어져야 한다. 활동을 촉진하는 다양한 활동 도구가 통합된 시스템 개선과 함께 교수자는 퍼실리테이터 역할을 중점적으로 수행해야 하며 학습자는 몰입이 이루어질 수 있도록 환경을 조성해야 한다. 온라인 교육 유형들에 대해서 학습자들은 활동성과 동일 시간성으로 구분하였다. 향후 실시간 온라인 교육의 특성을 고려한 최적화된 수업 설계전략을 개발할 필요가 있다.

The purpose of this study was to observe the influence adolescents' environmental experience and environmental consciousness have on the pro-environmental consumption behavior. Also by examining the variable relation, the study scoped out the effectiveness of environmental experience. For the analysis, high school students in Korea were gathered from online and the correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and Baron and Kenny mediation analysis were conducted among a total of 521 surveys. The main findings are as follows: First, adolescents' environmental experience, environmental consciousness and pro-environmental consumption behavior showed a positive relationship. In other words, the more the experience, the more sense of responsibility adolescents had towards the environment and society, leading them to have pro-environmental consumption behavior. Second, environmental experience and environmental consciousness were proven to be essential factors that have influence on the adolescents' pro-environmental consumption behavior. Third, partial mediating effect of environmental consciousness was verified in accordance with the relationship between environmental experience and pro-environmental consumption behaviour. The findings suggest the importance of adolescents' environmental consciousness and improvement of pro-environmental consumption behavior by having students gain environmental experience.

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to understand the factors affecting the dual smoking experience of conventional and heat-not-burn tobacco among adolescents with smoking experience. Methods: The study selected 8,691 people with experience in smoking. Data analysis used SPSS 25.0. Logistic regression was performed to identify the factors affecting the dual smoking experience. Results: In this study, the dual smoking experience rate of conventional and heat-not-burn tobacco was 16.3%. The dual smoking experience rate was 5.09 times higher than the number of smokers among friends. The lower the smoking age, the higher the smoking rate, and the longer the smoking days, the higher the dual smoking rate of heat-not-burn cigarettes. Conclusion: We need a peer-to-peer group arbitration program rather than a separate anti-smoking arbitration program for smokers.

The purpose of this paper is to derive some policy implications on Korea's international education based on the research of America's experience of international education. The implications are summarized as follows. First, the main aim of Korea's international education should be on the increase of mutual understanding among world citizens, and also on the improvement of Korea's competitiveness. Since Korea is a small-open economy, she must find some policy methods to develop her economy continuously. Second, Korea should establish q private-run institution concentrated on the increase of mutual understanding of world citizens, like IIE in America. Third, Korea should also give Korea's universities some incentives to improve its own internationalization as well as to develop educational curriculum for teachers in international education.

The purpose of this study is to develop an evaluation method for online design education. Online education has established itself as the primary form in the educational field, however, there are unsatisfactory response from instructors and students due to rapid conversion of online education. Due to the transition of educational method, online class contents have become optimized and online educational experiences became accumulated. However, clear education criteria is essential. This study states importance of two parts: establishing an evaluation system based on design thinking for online design education and finding appropriate online platforms for interaction between instructors and students. The research results provide implications for ensuring the efficiency of design education and are expected to contribute significantly to the future education field.

본 연구는 숲 체험활동에 대한 유아 교사들의 인식 및 요구도를 연구하였다. 연구 대상은 대전광역시에 소재한 유치원과 어린이집 교사170명을 대상으로 하였으며, 통계처리는 데이터 코딩(data coding)과 데이터 클리닝(data cleaning) 과정을 거쳐, SPSS(Statistical Package for Social Science) v. 18.0 통계 패키지 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하고, 조사대상자의 일반적 현황은 빈도분석을, 숲 체험 활동에 대한 인식과 요구도는 빈도분석 및 분산분석과 요인분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 교사들의 숲 체험활동에 대한 교육적 효과가 긍정적인 것으로 나타났으며 특히 숲 체험 활동에 대한 인식 및 요구에서 숲 체험교육의 중요성에 대한 교육 프로그램의 적극적인 추천과 권장할 것을 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 숲 체험 교육의 중요성과 유아교사들의 인식이 유아의 자연과 상호작용하면서 그 안에서 인간과 자연과 공존의 중요성을 깨닫고 공동체 의식을 함양하는 데 숲 체험 교육이 그만큼 중요하고 유용함을 시사한 것이라 할 수 있다.

This study is to understand preservice science teachers' previous experience, beliefs about teaching and learning, and visions of themselves as future teachers. The data were collected from two individual interviews with 7 voluntary students and analyzed qualitatively for category construction. As the results of this study, we presented two cases, which showed that their different views of teaching science are strongly related to their previous experiences as learners and observers in schools, and that there is the apparent consistency between each participant's beliefs about science teaching and learning and their own visions of teaching in a science classroom. Implications for preservice science teacher education related to the results were discussed.

Purpose : This study was attempted to explore the paramedic student's experience on simulation education. Methods : Data were collected through in-depth interviews from 15 paramedic students. The study was analyzed by phenomenological method, specifically Colaizzi's method. From the protocol, significant statements were organized into formulated meanings. Results : The formulated meanings were identified 35 themes, 12 theme clusters, and 6 categories. The 6 categories include burden of demonstration, role experience as a paramedic, confidence in field treatment, sense of disjunction caused by difference from real situation, realization and learning by oneself, and sense of stability from hypothetical situation. Conclusion : This study suggested that, even though some negative perceptions were observed, simulation education will fit as a replacement for the field practice of paramedic's students given that more field-like practice environment and repetitive simulation education are present.

In this study, we examined the relationships among years of teaching experience, professional rank, number of courses taken, and knowledge of algebra for teaching (KAT). 338 in-service and 376 pre-service secondary mathematics teachers in China completed a KAT questionnaire. Various statistical techniques were employed to examine these relationships. The pre-service participants teachers performed statistically significantly higher in advanced mathematics knowledge than their in-service counterparts. Among the inservice teachers, senior teachers had scored higher in school mathematics and teaching mathematics, compared with junior teachers. Yet participants' advanced mathematics knowledge decreased as their professional rank advanced or their teaching experience increased. The number of courses taken has significantly positive correlation with school mathematics knowledge and advanced mathematics knowledge. The implications of these findings for mathematics teacher education are discussed.
