Various studies regarding the sedimentary environment, depositional age, provenance, and metamorphic history have been carried out on the Taean Formation in the western part of Gyeonggi Massif, since the unique detrital zircon age pattern was revealed. This review paper introduces the previous researches on the Taean Formation and discusses the depositional age and provenance. The Taean Formation was traditionally regarded as a Precambrian stratigraphic unit, but recently it is interpreted to be a middle or upper Paleozoic formation due to the occurrence of large amounts of Early to Middle Paleozoic detrital zircons. The Taean Formation consists of metasandstone, argillaceous schist, and phyllite which are mainly made up of quartz and mica. The protoliths are interpreted as turbidites deposited in deep sea fan environment. The Taean Formation has been interpreted to be deposited between the Devonian to Triassic ages given the age differences between detrital zircons and intrusive rocks. There are two opinions that the deposition age is close to the Devonian or the Permian period. The provenance of this formation is supposed to be South China block, Chinese collisional belt, or Gyeonggi Massif. Given the available detrital zircon ages of the Taean Formation and other Korean (meta)sedimentary rocks, the Taean Formation shares major source rocks with Yeoncheon Group and Pibanryeong Unit of the Okcheon Supergroup, but their source regions are not entirely consistent. Considering the existing hypotheses about the depositional timing and provenance, we put weight on the possibility that the Taean Formation was deposited between Permian and Early Triassic periods. However, further studies on the stratigraphy and sedimentary petrology are needed to clarify its definition and to elucidate the provenance.

With the increase of the establishment of temporary institutions in accordance with social issues, the importance of managing records that reflect the characteristics of temporary institutions is highlighted. However, because of the ambiguity of laws related to records management, the limited number of employees, and the lack of awareness of records management by temporary institutions, the records management has not been carried out properly. Therefore, this study seeks to identify the gaps between statutes and practices and derive improvement measures for them. As such, the concept and characteristics of temporary institutions were identified through requests for disclosure of information. Moreover, the status of the administrative committee and the records management status of various temporary organizations were determined as well. Finally, improvement measures were drawn and proposed in terms of law, system, and record management by selecting relevant institutions in accordance with the Act and conducting in-depth interviews. This study is significant as it monitored the entire process of managing the records of existing time organizations and will serve as the basis for efficiently managing the future ones.

The existing Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(ECMO) and Cardiopulmonary bypass system(CPB) have been developed and applied to various devices according to their respective indications. However, due to the complicated configuration and difficult usage method, it causes inconvenience to users and there is a risk of an accident. Therefore, smart all-in-one cardiopulmonary circulation device is being developed recently. The smart all-in-one cardiopulmonary assist device consists of a blood pump for cardiopulmonary bypass, a blood oxidizer for cardiopulmonary bypass, a blood circuit for cardiopulmonary bypass, and an artificial cardiopulmonary device. It is an integrated cardiopulmonary bypass device that can be used for a variety of purposes such as emergency, intraoperative, post-operative intensive care, and long-term cardiopulmonary assist, combined with CPB used in open heart surgery and ECMO used when patient's cardiopulmonary function does not work normally. The smart all-in-one cardiopulmonary assist device does not exist as a standard and international standard applicable to advanced medical devices. Therefore, in this study, we will refer to the International Standard for Blood Components, the International Standard for Blood, the Guideline for Blood Products, and prepare applicable performance and safety guidelines to help quality control of medical devices, and contribute to the improvement of the health of people. The guideline, which is the result of conducted a survey of the method of safety and performance test, is based on the principle of all-in-one cardiopulmonary aiding device, related domestic foreign standards, the status of domestic and foreign patents, related literature, blood pump(ISO 18242), blood oxygenator (ISO 7199), and blood circuit (ISO 15676) for cardiopulmonary bypass. The items on blood safety are as follows: American Society for Testing and Materials ASTM F1841-97R17), and in the 2010 Food and Drug Administration's Safety Assessment Guidelines for Medical Assisted Circulatory Devices. In addition, after reviewing the guidelines drawn up through expert consultation bodies including manufacturers / importers, testing inspectors, academia, etc. the final guideline was established through revision and supplementation process. Therefore, we propose guidelines for evaluating the safety and performance of smart all-in-one cardiopulmonary assist devices in line with growing technology.
In this study, in order to solve the problem of the program of calculating code input by experienced users in the power generation, the wide area energy network research group developed the local heating operation analysis program EntPLAN, which can be easily used by anyone, including scalability, with domestic technology. Therefore, the Commission intended to compare the heat sources, heat demand, and the results of operation of the combined heat plant (CHP) on the energy network through simulation with the EnetPLAN and the program A on the market. The results showed that the heat and power output on the energy network of the EnetPLAN and A programs were mostly similar in pattern in the simulation results of the heat supply and the operation method of the accumulator. This enabled the application of the simulation for the various operation modes of the cogeneration facilities existing on the energy network. It is expected that EntPLAN, which was developed with domestic technology, will be easily applied in the field in the future and will present efficient operation simulation results.
The purpose of this study was to improve the performance of the bogie-type crematory, which is the mainstream of domestic crematory equipment. A field scale technology was investigated via increasing the volume by changing the shape of the furnace and reducing the cremation time and saving the energy usage through the optimization of burner combustion control. First, the optimized structural design through thermal flow analysis increases the volume of the main combustion chamber by about 70%, which increases the residence time of the combustion flue gas. A designed pilot crematory was then installed and the combustion behavior was tested under various operating conditions and the optimum operating plan was derived from for each furnace shape. Based on the results, the practically applicable crematory was designed and installed at Y crematorium in the P City. Optimal combustion conditions could be derived through operating the demonstration crematory furnace. The crematory time and fuel consumption could be minimized by increasing the energy efficiency by increasing the residence time of high temperature combustion flue gas. In other words, the crematory time and fuel consumption were 38 min and $21.8Nm^3$, respectively which were shortened by 44.1 and 54.4% lower than that of the existing crematory, respectively.
In male reproducible health, fertility and IVF (in-vitro fertilization), semen analysis has been most important. Semen analysis can be divided into concentration, motional and morphological analysis of sperm. The existing method which was developed earlier to analyze semen concentrated on the sperm motility analysis. To provide more useful and precise solutions for clinical problems such as infertility, semen analysis must include sperm morphological analysis. But the traditional tools for semen analysis are subjective, imprecise, inaccurate, difficult to standardize, and difficult to reproduce. Therefore, with the help of development of microcomputers and image processing techniques, we developed a new sperm morphology analyzer to overcome these problems. In this study the agreement on percent normal morphology was studied between different observers and a computerized sperm morphology analyzer on a slide-by-slide basis using strict criteria. Slides from 30 different patients from the SNUH andrology laboratory were selected randomly. Microscopic fields and sperm cells were chosen randomly and percent normal morphology was recorded. The ability of sperm morphology analyzer to repeat the same reading for normal and abnormal cells was studied. The results showed that there was no significant bias between two experienced observers. The limits of agreement were 4.1%${\sim}$-3.8%. The Pearson correlation coefficient between readers was 0.79. Between the manual and sperm morphology analyzer, the same findings were reported. In this experiments the slides were stained by two different methods, PAP and Diff-Quik staining methods. The limits of agreement were 7.2%${\sim}$-5.7% and 6.0%${\sim}$-6.3%, respectively. The Pearson correlation coefficients ware 0.76 and 0.91, respectively. The limits of agreement was tighter below 20% normal forms. In the experiments of repeatability, 52 cells stained by PAP and Diff-Quik staining methods were analyzed three times in succession. Estimating pairwise agreement, the kappa statistic for the pairs were 0.76, 0.81, 0.86, and 0.75, 0.88, 0.88 respectively. In this study it was shown that there was good agreement between manual and computerized assessment of normal and abnormal cells. The repeatability and agreement per slide of computerized sperm morphology analyzer was excellent. The computer's ability to classify normal morphology per slide is promising. Based on results obtained, this system can be of clinical value both in andrology laboratories and IVF units.
Quick-hardening track (QHT) is a construction method which is used to change from old ballast track to concrete track. Sufficient time for construction is important, as the construction should be done during operational breaks at night. Most of the time is spent on exchanging the ballast layer. If it is possible to apply the ballast non-exchange type of quick-hardening track, it would be more effective to reduce the construction time and costs. In this paper, pouring materials with high permeability are suggested and a construction method involving a layer separation pouring process considering the void condition is introduced in order to develop ballast non-exchange type of QHT. The separate pouring method can secure the required strength because optimized materials are poured into the upper layer and the lower layer for each void ratio condition. To ensure this process, a rheology analysis was conducted on the design of the pouring materials according to aggregate size, the aggregate distribution, the void ratio, the void size, the tortuosity and the permeability. A polymer series was used as the pouring material of the lower layer to secure the void filling capacity and for adhesion to the fine-grained layer. In addition, magnesium-phosphate ceramic (MPC) was used as the pouring material of the upper layer to secure the void-filling capacity and for adhesion of the coarse-grained layer. As a result of a mechanics test of the materials, satisfactory performance corresponding to existing quick-hardening track was noted.

At present, for reuse of similar domains between feature model and class model. researches of transformation at the model level and of transformation using ontology between two models are being made. but consistent transformation through metamodel is not made. And the factors of modeling transformation targets are not sufficient, and especially, automatic transformation algorithm and supporting tools are not provided so reuse of domains between models is not activated. This paper proposes a method of transformation from feature model to class model using ontology on the metamodel. For this, it re-establishes the metamodel of feature model, class model, and ontology, and it defines the properties of modelling factors for each metamodel. Based on the properties, it defines the profiles of transformation rules between feature mndel and ontology, and between ontology and class model, using set theory and propositional calculus. For automation of the transformation, it creates transformation algorithm and supporting tools. Using the proposed transformation rules and tools, real application is made through Electronic Approval System. Through this, it is possible to transform from the existing constructed feature model to the class model and to use it again for a different development method. Especially, it is Possible to remove ambiguity of semantic transformation using ontology, and automation of transformation maintains consistence between models.

In order to improvement of the perceptive of health state and the motivation, this study suggests the ways and design forms which provide PHR information customizing individual attributes as well as guidelines through a decision support system and services which integrate medical information visualization. Expression methods using the color, form, position in order to visualization based on images improved performance of information awareness by changing radar chart from existing information which provide only numerical figure. The methods providing a graphic figure which seems like beads of blood which shows the result of blood tests would also arise patient's attention. They gives the patient's information which is able to compare their health status and normal status and visualizes the records as a human figure in order to perceiving their status as well. The visualization showing the position of human body figures marks in inspection elements located in position of relevant organs. The method also uses icons represent examination results so they improve attention of the results and shorten recognize times.

Communication between system modules is applied using the Modbus protocol in industrial sites including smart factories, industrial drones, building energy management systems, PLCs, ships, trains, and airplanes. The existing Modbus was used for serial communication, but the recent Modbus protocol is used for TCP/IP communication. The Modbus protocol supports RTU, TCP and ASCII, and implements and uses protocols in embedded systems. However, the transmission I/O devices for RTU, TCP, and ASCII-based protocols may differ. For example, RTU and ASCII communications transmit on a serial-based communication protocol, but in some cases, Ethernet TCP/IP transmission is required. In particular, since the C language (object-oriented) is used in embedded systems, the complexity of source code related to I/O registers increases. In this study, we designed software that can logically separate I/O functions from embedded devices, and designed the execution logic of each instance requiring I/O processing through a delegate class instance with Modbus RTU, TCP, and ASCII protocol generation. We designed and experimented with software that can separate communication I/O processing and logical execution logic for each instance.
