디젤엔진용 코로나 방전식 전기집진장치의 개발 과정에서의 배기 정화 성능에 관한 기초연구 (A Study on the Performances of Exhaust Gas Purification at Process on the Development of Corona Discharge Type Electrostatic Precipitator for Diesel Engines)

  • In this study an experimental research has been conducted to reduce NOx and smoke emission from diesel engine exhaust gas simultaneously by application of corona discharge type electrostatic precipitator(ESP). The ESP was installed between exhaust gas silencer and outlet terminal of exhaust gas system. The operating conditions as input parameters taken in this experiment were corona power input, gas velocity and equivalence ratio of gas. It was found that the corona discharge type ESP has notable effect on reducing smoke in exhaust gas but appeared to bring slight effect on reducing NOx.

  • This research investigated the exhaust gas purification system of gaseous ozone for pigpens. This system is applied to exhaust the gas outside after purification with ozone. This is very effective for purification and simple. And because this is not set in the pigpens, this system is not influence of pollution gas. This is effected to extend the life time of this system and this system is applied for non-window pigpens which does not need the ventilation.

  • When an oxidizing catalytic converter which makes use of platium as a catalyst is employed by means if emission control of CO and HC gasoline engine, the effects of important factors for the purification efficiency, i.e engine speed and secondary air rate, on the reduction of CO and HC concentrations in the exhaust gas are studied experimentally. In the experiment, gasoline and LPG are used as a fuel, and the purification efficiency is examined and the results of both cases are compared with each other. The experimental results showed that the purification efficiency in the case of LPG is usually higher than that of gasoline, and the optimum values of engin speed and secondary air rate for maximum purification efficiency exist in common on both cases.

  • 본 논문에서는 유해배출물질 저감장치인 DPF의 문제를 해소하기 위하여 제안된 것으로서, 양방향으로 분기되는 배기가스 유로를 통하여 자동차의 엔진 구동시 발생되는 배기가스를 효율적으로 유도하고 2개의 DPF 장치를 장착함으로서 교번작용을 통한 유해배출물질 정화 및 재생연소특성을 효율적으로 적용할 수 있도록 개발한다. DPF 내부에 입자상물질 적층현상으로 인한 배기가스의 내부압력 증가를 피할 수 있고, 출력저하 및 연비효율이 떨어지는 등의 문제를 획기적으로 개선하여 고효율의 출력을 유도할 수 있는 자동차 배기가스 정화 시스템을 제공하려는데 그 목적이 있다.

천연가스 자동차의 Emission 배출특성 및 저감법 (Emission characteristics of Natural Gas Fueled Vehicl and its Purification Technologies)

  • Experiments have been conducted to investigate emission characteristics of compressed natural gas fueled vehicle(CNGV) by the FTP 75 mode test. Its purification technologies were also investigated. It was found that CNGV was operated on the rich A/F condition by comparison with gasoline vehicle. The Pd catalyst was higher in methane purification performance than Pt and Pd/Pt/Rh catalysts. Up to 60% portion of the accumulative HC emissions(that contains above 80% methane) form CNGV occurs during the first phase of the FTP 75 mode. CO that is exhausted at rich conditions of the air-fuel ratio more than lean conditions should be used for the catalytic reduction of NOX, because the methane is not the effective reduction for NOX in the CNGV with 3-way catalyst system.

  • This paper describes emission control of hydrocarbon and carbon-monoxide due to oxidizing catalyst. The experiment was performed on a precious metal pelleted catalyst(Pt). The factors of the efficiency for purification due to oxidizing catalyst are space velocity, temperature, composition of exhaust gas and supplementary air. The experiment was carried out to control the factors of efficiency for purification. The results of experimental study show that temperature of catalytic converter, supplementary air and space velocity affected the efficiency for purification of hydrocarbon and carbon monoxide.

Review on Application Progress of Carbon-Based Catalysts in Environmental Governance

  • In recent years, carbon-based catalysts have become a research hotspot in environmental governance applications. Carbon-based catalysts have large surface areas, porous structures, multi-surface functional groups and excellent electron transfer capabilities, and can synergistically exhibit adsorption and catalytic performance. This article reviews the research progress of carbon-based catalysts in environmental governance, mainly including its application in wastewater treatment, exhaust gas purification and soil remediation. In view of the current difficulties in the research of carbon-based catalysts, the development prospects are proposed. We hope that this review will provide convenience for new entrants and researchers intending to employ carbon-based catalysts for the remediation of contaminated environment.

  • 섬유산업에서 배출되는 오일미스트를 함유한 배기가스를 처리하기 위해 개발되어 실제 현장에 적용되고 있는 electric fume collector (EFC) 설비의 집진판 오염에 의한 성능저하를 개선하기 위한 맞춤형 세정제를 검토하였다. 집진판 표면의 오염물질은 오일미스트가 장기간 축적되면서 심하게 탄화되어 일반 세정제로는 쉽게 제거하기 어려운 상태였다. 오염물질의 특성과 집진판 모재의 손상 등을 고려하여, 알칼리, 알코올, 글리콜 및 비이온계 계면활성제로 구성된 최적의 세정제 성분 조성을 결정하였다. 현장실증실험에는 개발된 세정제 원액을 9.1%로 희석한 용액을 이용하였으며, 단순한 분무방식으로 심하게 점착된 집진판 표면의 오염물질을 성공적으로 제거할 수 있었다. 집진판의 세척에 의하여 EFC 설비의 배기가스 정화성능 개선효과도 크게 향상되었다.

  • 천연가스를 이용한 기존 엔진들은 효율이 우수한 희박연소를 구현하였지만 배기가스의 정화성능이 점차 강화되는 배기규제에 대응하기 위해, 이론공연비 연소 방식으로 관심이 옮겨지고 있다. 이론공연비 연소 방식은 유해 배출가스의 정화효율이 높은 삼원촉매를 사용할 수 있는 장점이 있지만, 높은 연소열 발생에 따른 열 내구성 문제와 연비가 해결과제로 남아 있다. 천연가스에 수소를 혼합한 수소-천연가스 혼합연료(HCNG))는 수소의 빠른 연소속도에 의한 영향으로 연소속도가 증가하고, 희박한계가 증가하여 배기가스재순환(Exhaust gas recirculation; EGR) 률의 공급을 증가할 수 있다. EGR률 상승은 연소온도를 낮추게 되어 엔진 열 내구성에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 수 있고, 압축비를 더욱 증가 시킬 수 있어서 효율적인 연소조건을 형성하도록 도움을 줄 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존 대형 가스엔진을 이용하여 개발한 이론공연비 연소 방식의 HCNG 엔진의 배출가스 저감을 최소화하기 위해, 삼원촉매를 개발 및 적용하여 배기가스 특성을 평가하고 분석하고자 하였다. 현재 상용화된 시내버스용 삼원촉매와 HCNG용으로 개발 중인 시제 삼원촉매를 각각 설치하여 정상상태 운전조건 및 과도운전조건에서 실험을 진행하고 모드실험 결과를 비교하였다.

  • Packing tower has been used in the chemical industry and the protection of environment for a long time. In the view of environmental protection purification of exhaust gas can be performance effective by gas absorption in counter-current packing tower. In this study characteristics of hydraulic and mass transfer were investigated in D. $0.3m {\times} H. 1.4m$ packing tower with 50mn plastic Hiflow-ring. This study was carried out "Test systems were experimented in conditions of Air, $Air/H_2O. NH_3-Air/H_2O, NH_3-Air/H_2O-H_2SO_4$ and $SO_2-Air/H_2O-NaOH$ under steady state" The extent of test included dry and wetting pressure drop physical law separation efficiency and hold-up as function of gas and liquid load.quid load.
