We have initiated a long-term identification campaign of supernova remnant candidates in X-ray regime. In the short-listed unidentified sources from the ROSAT All Sky Survey, we have chosen the brightest candidate, G308.3-1.4, as our pilot target for a dedicated investigation with Chandra X-ray Observatory. Our observation has revealed an incomplete shell-like X-ray structure which well-correlated with the radio feature. Together with the spectral properties of a shocked heated plasma, we confirm that G308.3-1.4 is indeed a supernova remnant. A bright X-ray point source which locates close to the remnant center is also uncovered in this observation. Its spectral behavior conform with those observed in a rare class of neutron stars. The properties of its optical/infrared counterpart suggests the evidence for a late-type companion star. Interestingly, possible excesses in B-band and H-alpha have been found which indicate this can be an accretion-powered system. With the further support from the putative periodicity of ~1.4 hrs, this source can possibly provide the direct evidence of a binary system survived in a supernova explosion for the first time.

Recently, AODV routing protocol which one of the table driven method for the purpose data transmission between nodes has been broadly used in mobile wireless sensor networks. An existing AODV has a little overhead of routing packets because of keeping the routing table for activity route and re-routes to recovery the routes in route discontinuation. However that has faults in that excesses useless of the network bandwidth to recovery the route and takes a lone time to recovery the route. This paper proposes an efficient route recovery method for AODV based on wireless sensor networks in connection breaks. The proposed method. The propose method controls the number of RREQ message considering the energy's node and distance between nodes to restrict the flooding range of RREQ message while expanding the range of local repair. In test results, the proposed method are compared to existing method, the number of drops decrease 15.43% and the delay time for re-route decrease 0.20sec.

The purpose of this paper is to prepare the department creation and the staff increase of education institution by forecasting the demand of health and welfare workers according to execution of the elderly's long-terms treatment insurance system in July, 2008. We estimated confirmors of the elderly's long-terms treatment and the demand of professional workers of health and welfare field due to the increase of care insurance users in facilities treatment organization, care at home service facilities, and family allowance facilities for 2010-2030. The numbers of social welfare professional worker are estimated as 16,624 workers in 2020 and 24,688 workers in 2030. The numbers of nurses are forecasted as 11.287 in 2020 and 16,624 in 2030, we expect that the increase of the demand be accelerated. The demand of necessary care probation worker is 44,824 in 2009, but we already trained over around 500,000 workers in 1,078 education institutions through one year in Aug. 31, 2009, which excesses over the numbers of workers demanded as much as 10 times.

There is a strong international move towards performance based fire regulations for buildings with New Zealand and Australia at the forefront of research in this fold. The reform of regulations is thought to offer more innovation and flexibility in building design and greater cost effectiveness in construction. An important part of the research in this area is related to the development of agreed approaches to fire safety design, such as the Fire Code Reform Centre's "Fire Engineering Guidelines" or New Zealand's "Fire Engineering Design Guide". Such design process documents have incorporated or referenced much of the latest research in areas such as: tenability criteria fire compartment models egress models risk assessment. Use of such design guidelines or equivalents in major projects in countries such as Hong Kong and Australia have highlighted where fro engineering can offer real benefits to building designers and ultimately building owners and operators. However, there is still much research to be done and use of a systematic, logical design approach clearly identifies where design data or modelling techniques are still urgently required. Such areas are: fire growth rates and peak heat release rates for non-residential occupancies pre-movement times related to egress experimental validation and limits of applicability of CFD and other compartment Ire models probability/reliability data on fire protection systems for risk based analysis. Examples from case studies will be shown where lack of such research and poor judgement can lead to inferior design solutions or where unnecessarily conservative designs can lead to cost excesses. In summary, the link between Ire engineering designers and the research community is very important to highlight areas of fire research that will have the most benefit to the building and construction industry.nstruction industry.

Objectives : In this study, we analyze the medical significance of feces symptoms so that the daily records of the feces of individuals can be not only used as a measure of individual health monitoring in daily life, but also more actively connected to the medical treatment of the Korean Medicine (KM). Methods : Categories and clinically significant attributes for symptoms of Urination and defecation in the KM ontology DB are determined, and connected to KM related dialectical indicators by experts' common criteria including Viscera and Bowels [臟腑], eight principles [八綱], Qi Blood fluid and humor phlegm-retained fluid static blood [氣血津液痰飮瘀血], six excesses [六淫]. Results : The analysis of the symptoms of feces in the Korea Medicine ontology shows that the symptoms of stool in categories of 'stool stiffness', 'blood swelling', 'discomfort' are highly ranked among the overall clinical symptom categories. In the case of urine symptoms, symptoms corresponding to 'urine color,' 'urine discomfort,' and 'urine volume' are the top rankers among other total clinical symptoms. In the case of stool, the relationship between the symptom of stool and the categories of spleen, stomach, and colon is increased as the weighted symptom is considered. The relationship between the symptom of urine and the categories of the small intestine and the bladder is increased in the same way. Conclusions : This study could help better utilize the personal generated health records of feces in clinical practice of Korean Medicine.
The purpose of the study is to estimate value of the Eulsukdo that is attracting lots of birds. Eulsukdo became one of the most famous eco-tourism destinations worldwide and environmental restoration work is progressing with enormous budget. The input of the budget by policy judgement basically can be justified when the benefit excesses the cost in social aspect. Eulsukdo has external effect as cultural tourism resource but it is difficult to estimate the value in market. The study is to estimate the value of Eulsukdo through the single-bounded dichotomous CVM(Contingent Valuation Methods). According to analysis results, the mean WTP(Willingness to Pay) and the truncated mean WTP are estimated at 5,240 and 3,374 won in the log-normal model, and 5,888 and 3,232 won in the log-logistic model respectively. The annual total benefits value based on the truncated mean WTP is estimated at 3,870 million won in the log-normal model and 4,040 million won in log-logistic model. The result of this study will provide useful guide to policy makers and developers who fully realize the value of public goods.
Objective : The aim of this study was to survey the present utilization of pattern identification(PI) in the clinical field among Korean Medicine Doctors. Method : This survey was conducted from Oct. 1 to Oct. 31, 2014 by face-to-face interview using structured questionnaire. The subjects were 400 korean medicine doctors who worked in hospitals or clinics. The questionnaire consisted of two sections - a demographics section(i.e., sex, age, clinical experience, place of work, residence and so on) and the main research section(i.e., the PI utilization rate, the utilization of PI systems, the utilization of PI in the clinical domain and in the treatment domain, the correlation between utilization PI and so on). Results : This study revealed that subjects used the PI to 66.7% of their patients on average. The utilization rate of PI in patients was significantly higher for female physicians than for male physicians, for physicians worked in clinics than for physicians who worked in hospitals and for physicians with more than 10 years clinical experience than for physicians with less than 10 years clinical experience. In the utilization of PI systems, Visceral PI was most as 92.0%. There were significant difference on the PI utilization rate according to utilization of Meridian and Collateral PI, Triple Energizer PI, Defense, Qi, Nutrient and Blood PI, Six-Meridian PI and Six Excesses PI. As a result of analysing the PI utilization rate by clinical domain and in the treatment domain, the Treatment and the Drug Treatment showed the highest values. Among utilized PI systems, the correlation coefficients between Defense, Qi, Nutrient and Blood PI and Triple Energizer PI showed the highest value, but the correlation coefficients between Sasang Constitutional Medicine with the each PI showed substantially lower value. Conclusion : The results of this study demonstrate that usage of PI was higher than usage of U code(in KCD) usage in clinical field. we suggested that additional studies on using PI and developing more appropriate standardized tool should be conducted to widen scope of PI's utilization.

This paper presents an algorithm to derive the representative unit hydrograph for the real environment of a watershed. For a given watershed, the conventional methods give several different unit hydrographs by storm events. In this study the LP model is somewhat modified based on the previous study by Mays et also as follows: the objective function is designed to minimize the sum of weighted residuals. An additional constraint of moving average is added to prevent the unit hydrograph from the occurence of oscillation which was not active in Mays's paper. Configuration of rainfall matrix was improved to reduce its dimension in accordance with Diskin's review point. In spite of the superiority of LP approach in terms of representativeness, all the methods were very sensitive to the validity of baseflow separation and rainfall-loss. Several methods of the separations for rainfall excesses and direct runoffs were applied and no preferred methods were identified. This is the matter of judgement considering catchment and rainfall characteristics. This algorithm was applied to a real watershed of the Wi stream in the Nak-dong river. Compared with the IHP results by conventional methods, this optimized representative unit hydrograph demonstrated relatively smaller and shorter values in terms of the peak discharge and the basin lag respectively, and the oscillation of its falling limb successfully eliminated owing to the additional constraints of moving averages.

The questionnaire consisted of whether use clinical experience by chronic disease and the utilization of PI, the utilization of PI systems, the PI utilization rate, and the correlation between utilization PI and so on. General elements consisted of sex, age, clinical experience, place of work, district and so on. Results and Conclusions : This study revealed that clinical experience by chronic disease used 24.0-90.8%. The most chronic diseases were chronic fatigue and chronic pain, and least disease was cancer. Experience of the utilization of PI among Korean medicine doctors who have clinical experience was 87.8-97.1%. Also, the most utilized disease was chronic gastritis & gastric ulcer, and least disease was dyslipidemia. In this case, the most common cases were using the one PI between the utilization of PI systems, and the utilization ratio of Visceral PI was the highest. Phi coefficient between the PI systems in chronic diseases divided into positive correlation and negative correlation. The correlation of dementia between Triple energizer PI and Six excesses PI was the highest at positive correlation, and the frequency of occurrence between Defense, Qi, Nutrient and Blood PI was the highest at positive correlation. The correlation of osteoarthropathy between Meridian and Collateral PI and Sasang Constitutional Medicine was the highest at negative correlation. Also the frequency of occurrence between Qi, Blood, Fluid and Humor PI and Sasang Constitutional Medicine was the highest at negative correlation. We hope that additional studies on systematic PI research of chronic disease which needed to be in korean oriental medicine and meet the needs of clinical consumer continue based on this study.
Recently the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Republic of Korea, announced the “Dietary Guidelines for Korean Adults (DGKA)”, which includes ten Dietary Goals, six Dietary Guidelines, and twenty-three Action Guidelines. DGKA are developed as the revision of the 2003 Dietary Guidelines for Koreans, targeting adult population. Dietary Guidelines are developed for general purpose as well as for different age groups. They are revised periodically to accommodate changes in diet and health problems of the population. The process of developing new DGKA can be summarized as 1) selection of focus areas, 2) analysis and review of available data for each area selected, and 3) derivation of guidelines based on the analyzed data, and 4) finalizing the guidelines after open discussions among the experts and general public. Five focus areas were selected by examining the Nutrition Goals of the Health Plan 2010 of Korea, soliciting proposals from the experts in the related fields, and reviewing existing and international guidelines. Five areas selected were 1) adequate intake of nutrients and foods, 2) balance of energy intake and physical activities, 3) alcohol intake, 4) food security and nutrition service, and 5) food safety. Adequacy of nutrient and food intakes of the Korean adult population was assessed using 2005 Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES) data. Newly developed Dietary Reference Intakes for Koreans were used as reference values to assess the prevalence of inadequacies and excesses in nutrient intakes. Energy balance was examined with energy intake of 2005 KNHANES survey and results of physical activity questionnaire in the survey. Alcohol intake was also examined using 2005 KNHANES results of dietary intakes as well as the results of questionnaire survey on alcohol intakes. Food security, nutrition services, and food safety were analyzed using various government data and published results on the issues. Ten Dietary Goals and six Dietary Guidelines were developed after data analysis and were subjected to reviews of experts and general public. The final DGKA are: 1) Eat a variety of foods from each food group, 2) Increase physical activity and maintain healthy weight, 3) Eat proper amount of clean foods, 4) Avoid salty foods and try to eat foods with bland taste, 5) Avoid foods with high fat contents and deep-fried foods, and 6) When you drink alcohol, limit the amount. Twenty-three action guidelines are developed in order to achieve these guidelines in actual diet and life among the population. The government is disseminating the guidelines with “337” slogan and emblem. “337” indicates everyone should practice “3” guidelines of promoting good eating practice, “3” guidelines to limit or decrease in your diet, and you should practice them for “7” days a week. The guidelines will be useful in promoting healthy food habits and good nutritional status which will result in decrease nutrition related health problems in Korea.
