본 연구는 소나무 부위별 추출물을 피부염 유발 균주에 적용함으로써 항균 및 항진균 활성을 측정하고 그 결과를 보고하고자 하였다. 먼저 paper disc 법을 이용하여 항균 및 항진균 실험에서 송엽, 송절 및 송화 에탄올 추출물은 대부분의 피부염 균주에 대하여 항균활성을 나타내었으나, 물 추출물은 모든 피부염 균주에 대하여 항균활성을 나타내지 않았다. 송엽 및 송절 70% 에탄올 추출물이 T. rubrum을 제외한 모든 피부염 균주에 대하여 항균활성을 나타내었으며, 송화 70% 에탄올 추출물은 C. tropicalis와 P. acens에 대해서만 항균활성을 보였다. 소나무 essential oil의 항균 및 항진균 활성을 측정한 결과, C. albicans, C. tropicalis, T. rubrum에 대해 1.5~3 mm 정도의 생육저해환을 형성하여 높은 항진균 활성을 나타내었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 소나무 부위별 70% 에탄올 추출물에 활성을 나타내었던 피부염 관련 균주 6종에 대한 최소생육 저해 농도를 측정한 결과, 송엽 70% 에탄올 추출물은 C. tropicalis 및 P. acnes에 대하여 0.002%와 0.0063%의 낮은 농도에서 항균효과가 나타났고 송절 70% 에탄올 추출물은 0.003% 농도에서 P. acnes의 생육을 억제하여 뛰어난 효과를 보였다. 소나무 essential oil의 최소생육 저해 농도를 측정한 결과, 0.025% 농도에서 C. albicans와 C. tropicalis의 생육을 효과적으로 억제하는 것으로 나타났다. 송엽 essential oil은 C. albicans, C. tropicalis, T. rubrum에 대해 항진균 효과가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 이상의 결과를 통해 소나무 부위 중 송엽과 송절 70% 에탄올 추출물에서 항균 및 항진균 효과가 뛰어났으며, 특히, 송절 70% 에탄올 추출물이 S. aureus, S. epidermidis, P. acnes에 대해 더 높은 항균 효과를 나타내었다. 따라서, 소나무 송절과 송엽 에탄올 추출물과 essential oil은 Candida 속과 P. acnes에 대한 억제효과가 크게 나타나 이와 관련한 피부질환 개선에 효과가 클 것으로 사료된다.

본 연구에서 사용된 클로브 에센셜 오일은 로즈마리 에센셜 오일보다 강력한 항산화 효과를 나타내었다. 토종닭 후라이드 치킨 제조 과정 중 로즈마리와 클로브 에센셜 오일의 첨가는 일반성분, pH, TBARS와 관능적 특성에 있어 유의적인 효과를 줄 수 없었다. 0.005CB를 제외한 모든 에센셜 오일 첨가 처리구는 Control보다 낮은 가열감량을 보였고 0.005CB에서는 높은 픽업률을 보였다(P<0.05). 토종닭 후라이드 치킨의 지방산 조성을 측정한 결과, 클로브 에센셜 오일의 항산화 효과로 인하여 0.005CB와 0.01CB는 Control보다 높은 수준의 arachidonic acid를 나타내었다. 토종닭 후라이드 치킨의 휘발성 유기 화합물을 측정한 결과, 로즈마리 에센셜 오일의 특정 풍미성분들이 토종닭 후라이드 치킨에 마스킹 되었고 클로브 에센셜 오일의 항산화 능력을 통해 몇몇 pyrazine류의 물질들을 감소시켰다. 본 연구 데이터는 향후 로즈마리와 클로브 에센셜 오일을 첨가하여 제조한 토종닭 후라이드 치킨의 저장성 연구에 있어 기초 데이터로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

This paper introduces the notions of essential and inessential map for countably $textsc{k}$-set contractive maps. These ideas enable us to establish a Krasnoselskii-Petryshyn compression and expansion theorem in a cone for countably $textsc{k}$-set contractive maps.

In this paper, the structure of e-local modules and classes of modules via essentially small are investigated. We show that the following conditions are equivalent for a module M: (1) M is e-local; (2) $Rad_e(M)$ is a maximal submodule of M and every proper essential submodule of M is contained in a maximal submodule; (3) M has a unique essential maximal submodule and every proper essential submodule of M is contained in a maximal submodule.

Callus was derived from the leaves of Perilla frutescens var. acuta which is commonly cultivated in Korea. It has been found that the light decreased the growth rate of the callus but rather increased the contents of essential oils. The addition of one ppm of 1-naphthyl acetic acid and 5ppm of kinetin in the medium caused the increased production of essential oils.

This study was carried out to manufacture microcapsules from natural aromatic essential oils by polymeric emulsification and to evaluate their properties using microscopical and electro-chemical analysis techniques. It was shown that aromatic essential oils (yuja, lavender, and peppermint) could be microcapsulated and their emulsion has a good stability and storage characteristics.

We prove that two essentially normal elements of a type $II_{\infty}$ factor von Neumann algebra are unitarily equivalent up to the compact ideal if and only if they have the identical essential spectrum and the same index data. Also we calculate the spectrum and essential spectrum of a non-unitary isometry of von Neumann algebra.

We introduce a Nielsen type number of a fibre preserving map, and show that it is a lower bound for the number of $n$-orbits in the homotopy class. Under suitable conditions we show that it is equal to the Nielsen type relative essential $n$-orbit number. We also give necessary and sufficient conditions for it and the essential $n$-orbit number to coincide.

We obtain some necessary and sufficient conditions for the boundedness of the composition operators between weighted Bergman spaces of logarithmic weights. In terms of the conditions for the boundedness, we compute the essential norm of the composition operators.
