생태학습장 이용객의 지각된 성과에 의한 만족도 연구 (A Study on User Satisfaction by Perceived Performance of Ecological Learning Center)

  • An ecological learning center is defined as a place which can establish the correct relationship between human and environment. Human can learn ecosystem and importance of environment throughout observation of nature and participation in program of ecological learning center. The most important aspects of ecological learning center planning are to reflect on user's demand and preservation of ecosystem. The prime goals of this study is to analyze user's characteristics in the Young Wheol Mulmurigol Ecological Learning Center. The second goal of this study is to find out the satisfaction model based on user's perceived performance of each program and facility in the center. For this study, questionnaire survey with 204 individuals was completed. The data from the questionnaire were analyzed statistical method by SPSS. There are several significant results from the study as following First, this ecological learning center as a newly operating facility is used not for educational purpose but for resting and relaxation purpose. It is due to that the most of users in this center are package tourists with historic scenes. Second, user's perceived performance evaluated by 23 attributions of programs and facilities, and these attributions could be classified by 5 factors such as environment friendly design, educational function, preservation of environment, provision of various bio-top and provision of resting area. Third, the user satisfaction model indicates that user satisfaction is depended on various factors such as preservation of environment, provision of various bio-top, provision of resting area. Among these factor affecting the satisfaction, provision of various bio-top is the most influence on user satisfaction.

도시 거점녹지유형의 그린인프라 계획요소 고찰 -ASLA 사례분석을 중심으로- (A Survey on Green Infrastructure Design Element in Urban Hub Green - Focused on ASLA's Case Studies-)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze examples of green infrastructure presented by the American Society of Landscape Architects as a part of basic research to assess hub green spaces in cities. With the specific goal of green infrasturcture in mind, the study samples were classified according to their purpose: 'humanities', 'hydrology', 'ecology', and 'environment'. Based on this we assessed the elements of planning for the target sites and obtained the following results. With regard to the aspect of humanities, planning urban hub green spaces was related to the satisfaction in leisure activities and the 'quality of life' that people expect to enjoy at parks or other green areas in general. Rather than focusing on direct and visible benefits, which might come from green infrastructure's technological elements, people hoped that parks and green areas have macroscopic values. For hydrological characteristics, the 'ecologically manages stormwater' was applied the most in planning hub green spaces in cities, and it mainly took the form of technological elements or factors. Third, the planning elements pertaining to ecological characteristics were identified as a combination of strategies and technological elements that 'reintroduces native plants' and 'habitat for wildlife'. As for the plans to instill eco-friendly aspects, the study found that the research on air, climate, weather, heat reaction, soil, energy efficiency, and use and application of resources is important. However, it was difficult to measure the potential quantitative benefits of 'reusing or recycling materials', 'reducing urban heat', and 'cooling air temperature'. The result of this study is meaningful in that it can be used for the assessment of urban hub green spaces in the future.

공동주택 단지 내 교통사고 저감을 위한 보행환경 개선에 대한 기초연구 - 경기도 화성시 동탄면 동탄2신도시 사례 중심으로 - (A Basic Study on the Improvement of Pedestrian Environment to Reduce Traffic Accidents in Multi-family Housing Complex - Focused on Dongtan 2 New Town in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province -)

  • New towns and large multi-family housing complexes are being built in the capital region of Korea, with the goal of creating safe and pedestrian-friendly cities. Traffic accidents in such residential complexes, however, is on the rise, creating social problems. While there have been many previous studies on problems with pedestrian environment; there is a dearth of studies that take design-based approach to ensure safety in pedestrian environment within residential complexes. Therefore, this study aims to prevent traffic accidents by properly planning pedestrian environment within multi-family housing complexes, in addition to emphasizing theories related to planning safer pedestrian environment in general. This study found the following design directions required to improve the design theory of pedestrian safety in multi-family housing complexes: (1) Linking traffic facilities and residential complex spaces in Korea; (2) Considering implementation of United Kingdom road systems; (3) Establishing appropriate objectives for each residential complex based on case study. In response to these findings, the study selected the A84BL complex in Hwaseong Dongtan 2 Complex located in Dongtan-myeon, Hwaseong-si in Gyeonggi Province, Korea. Items that can be implemented, as well as spatial design directions, were discussed with a focus on private vehicles, pedestrians, and service vehicles.

신도시 공동주택 거주자 대상의 녹색건축 인증제도 인식도 조사 및 분석 (A Study on the Recognition of Green Standard for Energy and Environmental Design(G-SEED) from the Survey of Multi-complex Residents in Newtown)

  • Green Standard for Energy and Environmental Design(G-SEED) has been used for environmental friendly building certification since 2002. The certification criteria initialed with multi-residential building and now it expands to 10 criteria for new and existing building types. The purpose of this study is to understand current recognition of G-SEED from the survey of multi-complex residences in newtown. From the general question, 75.2% of responders answered the period of living term between 1~3 years, 58.6% lived in $102.48{\sim}132.23m^2$ residential area and 65.2% owned their residences. The 43.2% of respondents recognized that their residences gained G-SEED certification by G-SEED emblem(31.6%). This is the significant meaning to understand public recognition of G-SEED and how to approach the strategy for raising the G-SEED recognition. The responders expected positive influence for economical value from G-SEED and also 75.3% of responders agreed with that G-SEED would be a decision make to buy and rent their residences. Second, residents responded that the consideration issue for green building is energy & prevention of environmental pollution(27.7%) which carries equal concern in G-SEED criteria category. The result of this survey verifies that the current level recognition of G-SEED of the responder's perspectives still is not well-known but it confirmed they have a positive expectation. Therefore, from this result, G-SEED needs to draw road map with detail plans for developing G-SEED with public participation.

훈데르트바써 주택작품의 외부 디자인 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design Characteristics of External Appearances of Hundertwasser's Housing Projects)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the design characteristics of external appearances of Hundertwasser's housing projects through both literature review and field study, and to understand how Hundertwasser's architecture philosophy was embodied in the design of external appearances so such projects. The subjects of the analysis are: Hundertwasser House; In the Meadow Bad Soden; The Forest Spiral Darmstadt; and The Green Citadel Magdeburg. The conclusion of the study is as follows. The fundamental architecture philosophy of Hunderwasser is the close linkage between mankind and nature. He has proven, through his four housing projects mentioned above, that it is possible to build houses without destroying and in harmony with nature. Hundertwasser had identified vitality, irregularity and diversity as being the source of beauty of nature. Using the human creativity, he had embodied such elements into his housing projects, thus suggesting an ideal housing environment whereby humanity is respected. Hundertwasser made use of organic curved line and spiral shapes that exist in nature when designing his housing projects. His creativity was articulated through vitality, diversity, and irregularity in colour schemes and a wide range of form. Indeed, he was an architect pursuing the underlying nature of both human and nature. The current living environment in Korea can be characterized as being standardized and desolate, which is a result of housing projects being focused too much on functionalism. Through its analysis of Hundertwasser's housing projects, one of the objectives of this study is to contribute to a new design paradigm being called for today, including for housing projects to be more ecological and environmental-friendly. By motivating architects and appealing to their clients, this study hopes to motivate those involved in various housing projects to think progressively. Such an attitude change could assist in transforming and thus enhancing the overall living environment in Korea.

친환경 무기결합재를 이용한 비소성 황토모르타르의 특성 (Properties of Non-Sintered Hwangtoh Mortar Using Eco-Friendly Inorganic Binding Material)

  • 최근 환경과 건강에 대한 현대인들의 관심이 높아짐에 따라 인체에 유익한 친환경적인 건축 재료의 연구와 개발이 활발하게 이루어지고 있다. 이중 황토에 관한 연구가 많이 진행되고 있으나 강도적인 측면과 건조수축에 의한 균열, 특히 황토의 물에 약한 성질 등으로 아직 건축 재료로써 황토의 활용도는 미비하고 한정적인 실정이다. 현재의 건축 구조물에 가장 널리 사용되고 있는 재료 중의 하나인 시멘트 콘크리트는 경제적이고 재료를 비교적 쉽게 구할 수 있으며 형상가공의 용이성과 적당한 압축강도가 쉽게 얻어지는 이유로 건축, 토목 재료로서 광범위하게 사용되고 있다. 하지만 환경문제들을 저감하기 위한 목적으로 최근에 전통적 재료인 황토에 관련된 많은 연구들이 진행되고 있으며, 이에 따른 건축 재료도 개발되고 있다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 환경 친화적이고 수급이 용이하며 천연재료의 성질을 그대로 지니고 있는 비소성 황토와 산업부산물인 고로슬래그에 각종 자극제를 혼합한 비소성 시멘트를 이용하여 미래에 시멘트를 대체할 수 있는 건축 재료의 기초적인 특성을 제시하고자 한다.

노인층 옥외활동의 질적 GIS를 활용한 근린환경 특성의 해석 - 서울시 저소득 노인밀집지역 무수골을 대상으로 - (Interpretive Approaches to the Characteristics of Neighborhood Environment Using Qualitative GIS of the Elderly's Outdoor Activities - Focused on the Musugol, a Low-Income Elderly Concentrated Area in Seoul -)

  • 선행연구에 따르면 옥외활동은 노인의 신체적, 정신적, 사회적 건강에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 알려져 있다. 노화가 진행될수록 일상생활이 도보권 내 근린환경과 밀접해지는 가운데, 건강증진을 위한 '활동적 노화'와 '고령친화'는 근린환경에서 실제 이루어지는 옥외활동 수준과 그 인식에 좌우되는 것이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 도시 내 저소득 노인밀집지구의 사례에서 노인의 옥외활동이 근린환경에서 어떻게 이루어지는지 알아보고자 하였다. 또한 옥외활동의 촉진·억제요인이 작용하는 맥락을 시간적·공간적 여건 및 개인적·사회적 여건에 따라 고찰하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서로 다른 접근방식인 관찰조사와 인지지도 및 심층 인터뷰를 혼합함으로써 질적 GIS 정보를 다각적으로 해석해보았다. 먼저 행태관찰조사를 통해 옥외활동이 이루어지는 주요공간의 활동패턴과 이용자별, 시간대별 특성을 맵핑하여 분석하였다. 또한 거주 노인의 인지지도를 수집하고 주요 외부공간별 근린환경에 대한 인식과 활동목적 등을 인터뷰하여 옥외활동이 이루어지는 상호맥락을 고찰하였다. 연구결과 '시야가 개방'된 쾌적한 공간으로 향하는 '집 바로 앞 골목'의 접근성이나 인지성이 높을 경우 나가고자 하는 욕구가 보다 원활하게 실현되는 것으로 보인다. 노인층에게 '익숙함'이란 것이 매우 중요한 가운데, 공간에 대한 인지성과 접근성을 높임으로써 심리적 경계를 허물어 주는 것이 매우 중요할 것으로 보인다. 또한 사회적 교류와 갈등관계는 노인층의 공간 점유양식에 크게 영향을 미치는 요인으로 확인되었다.

치유공간에 적용한 흙건축 인테리어 -한의원인테리어의 바이오필릭(Biophilic)디자인개념을 중심으로- (Earth Construction Interior Applied to Healing Space : Focused on Biophilic Design Concept of Oriental Medical Clinic Interior)

  • 흙은 그 자체로 자연치유력을 가진 동시에 친환경적이며, 정서적, 심리적인 안정감을 주는 천연 재료이다. 이 논문에서는 치유공간으로서의 기능을 확대하기 위한 방안의 하나로 한의원인테리어의 건축에 흙의 효과성을 적극적으로 활용한 설계와 시공방식을 구체화하였다. 특히 바이오필릭(Biopillic) 디자인 개념을 치유환경 디자인으로 활용하여 자연을 상징하는 색채, 빛, 식물, 꽃, 자연재료인 흙, 목재 등을 치유공간인 한의원인테리어로 연출하였다. 이 가운데 환자들의 동선에 따른 공간을 구획하고 공간별 특성에 따른 흙건축 공법을 적용하였다. 이때 흙은 첨가재를 넣지 않은 친환경 건축자재 인증등급 HB(Healthy Building)의 최우수 등급에 준하는 재료와 마감재인 흙으로 시공하여 인테리어와 치료개념을 동시에 연출가능 하도록 하였다. 본 연구결과는 향후 치유공간을 구성하는 데 바이오필릭((Biophilic) 디자인을 활용한 치유공간요소의 대입으로 시공의 설계와 흙건축 공법의 활용에 필요한 토대로 작용할 수 있을 것이다. 또한, 미래지향적 대안으로 건축디자인에 흙의 활용 영역을 확장시킬 수 계기가 될 수 있을 것이다.

생태관광활동 참여에 따른 관광환경태도의 변화 - 우포늪 습지 방문객을 중심으로 - (A Change in Tourism Environmental Attitudes through Ecotourism Activities - Focusing on Ecotourism Participants in Upo Wetlands -)

  • 생태관광은 환경을 보존하고 지역주민의 복지를 유지하는 자연지역으로의 책임 있는 관광이라고 정의할 수 있으며, 지속가능한 관광을 위한 대안관광의 하나로 최근에 들어 생태관광에 대한 연구와 생태관광 활동이 활발해지고 있다. 본 연구는 정교화 가능성 모형(elaboration likelihood model: ELM, Petty and Cacioppo, 1986)이론을 바탕으로 생태관광활동에 참여하는 관광객은 높은 정교화 수준의 고관여 집단으로 이미 친환경 태도를 형성하고 있는 집단이며, 이들의 신념과 태도에 일치하는 생태관광활동 참여는 순환적으로 친환경 태도를 강화할 것으로 가설을 설정하였다. 이를 검증하기 위하여 2010년 9월에 람사르 등록 습지로 우리나라의 대표적인 생태관광지라 할 수 있는 우포늪 습지에서 방문객 183명을 대상으로 실증적으로 생태관광활동에 따른 관광환경태도의 변화를 논의하였다. 생태관광활동 참여 이전과 이후의 관광환경 태도의 변화는 '반환경적 행위동조 요인' > '추억 표상 요인' > '반환경적 일탈 요인'의 순으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 생태관광활동 참여자는 관광활동 중에 생태관광 자원의 본질적 속성에 의한 영향과 다양한 환경교육 및 체험프로그램 등을 제공받음으로써 방문 전에 형성하고 있는 친환경적인 태도를 보다 정교하게 강화하는 것으로 이해할 수 있다. 또한, 본 연구의 조사대상지인 우포늪 생태관광지는 생태관광 개발 및 운영에 있어서 기본적으로 친환경 태도의 형성과 강화의 목적을 달성하고 있다고 평가할 수 있다. 특히, 요인별 변화에서 생태관광활동 참여가 양극단의 환경태도보다는 '반환경적 행위동조'라는 중간적 환경태도 변화에 더 크게 작용하는 것으로 나타났는데, 이는 생태관광활동 참여를 통하여 '반환경적 행위동조'태도를 친환경적으로 완화할 수 있다는 것으로 생태관광의 역할을 확인하는 중요한 결과이다.

어독성 실험에 따른 방수재 친환경 특성 분석 (Analyses on Environment-friendliness of Waterproof Materials Based on Fish Toxicity Test)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of environment-friendliness of waterproof materials based on comprehensive experiments on waterproofness in terms of coefficients of permeability, harmfulness of waterproof materials and fish toxicity of Oryzias latipes mortality to verify eco-toxicity of each method of construction and waterproof material, which are to be applied by taking eco-toxicity into account when building ecological flows in upper areas on natural and artificial grounds. As a result, the following conclusions have been reached in this study: 1. In regard of the harmfulness analyzed, each material showed a different result of analytical value in each lab tank. Compared to input water, pH, COD, SS, T-P, and T-N values increased a little, but DO value decreased. The value of turbidity analyzed independent of the water quality standard of aquatic ecosystem set forth by the Ministry of Environment increased a little compared to the value in input water. 2. In the experiment of fish toxicity, compacted quicklime, cement fluid waterproof material, cement mortar waterproof material and bentonite powder were found to have 100% of fish mortality, respectively, and membrane waterproof material showed 83.3% of mortality, indicating strong fish toxicity. Improved asphalt sheet (63.3%) and synthetic rubber sheet (53.3%) were analyzed to have medium fish toxicity, while bentonite sheet (6.7%), Hwang-toh (6.7%) and clay (3.3%) showed relatively lower mortality and fish toxicity. 3. Regarding the analysis on waterproofness in terms of the coefficient of permeability of each waterproof material, improved asphalt sheet, synthetic rubber sheet, membrane waterproof material, cement fluid and mortar waterproof material and bentonite sheet were found impervious in case no leakage takes place in construction. Bentonite powder was found practically impervious based on the analytical results from the experiment done in compliance with weight ratios. So were the clay and Hwang-toh from the experimental results. To sum up such results as found in the experiment mentioned so far, the values of harmfulness and waterproofness analyzed were different in each lab tank, but there was absolutely little correlation with the mortality gained from the experiment on fish toxicity. In the experiment of fish toxicity, environment-friendly waterproof materials were analyzed, and it was found that clay, Hwang-toh and bentonite sheet are highly environment-friendly. In contrast, synthetic rubber and improved asphalt sheets were found to have medium-level environment-friendliness. Also, membrane water-proof materials, compacted quicklime, cement fluid and mortar waterproof material and bentonite powder were analyzed to have low environment-friendliness.
