초고층 공동주택 세대내 개보수 주기에 따른 이산화탄소 배출량 연구 (A Study on Quantity of CO2 Emission about Remodeling Cycle at High-rise Apartment housing)

  • The goal of this study is to figure out the remodeling cycle at high-rise apartment housing and to analysis on quantity of $CO_2$ emission about remodeling cycle. The process of research is as follow; 1) Estimate the remodeling cycle through survey targeting residents at high-rise apartment building. 2) Simulate conditions on the high-rise apartment housing. 3) Calculate quantity of energy consumption and $CO_2$ emission 4) Derive elements that are on high level of environmental load evaluation. The main results of this study is as follow; 1) The cycle of finishing such as wallpaper is shorter than the cycle of building equipment such as elements in a toilet. 2) According to result of calculating $CO_2$ emission, fabric wallpaper and mortar are main factors that impact on the environment. The results is important to show reference points on quantitative measuring evaluation for the environmental-friendly extent.

  • Remodeling of agricultural facilities can be defined as follows; it is received newly social needs which calamity is reduced, its function is improved, ecosystem is maintained, water-friendly space is preserved. By those remodeling, environment water and tour water with role as a place of rest and leisure sports, and so forth can be ensured. Therefore, on this study, we would propose the approach of the repair and enhancement of agricultural facilities which can reflect those social demands.

  • Multi Housing design has not considered the remodeling even at the beginning of the construction. This severely hindered systematic maintenance, providing fundamental causes of consuming society. In general, in about 20 years when the buildings become too old, they are brought down or removed with a trail of waste left behind. In addition, since the current remodeling or future remodeling type is a general remodeling that leaves only a frame, some question the role of the remodeling as a solution to the reconstruction from economically and environmentally efficient aspects. This study intends to find a solution for long-life span multi-family housing design, promoting sequential remodeling by stating the life cycle of components. Problems were identified by analyzing joints, design and construction of multi-family housing based on the previous researches. Conclusion from characterization of the design plan according to joint parts can be summarized as the following firstly, the problem of the wet was seen in joints between the structure and a finishing materials and ones between separate finishing materials. Secondly, the problem of overlap was frequently seen in joints between the structure and a door/window, ones between a door/window and a finishing materials, and ones between a finishing materials and an electrical/mechanical device.

대학 도서관 건물 리모델링에 따른 실내공기질 영향 평가 (Impact Assessment of Remodeling Works on Indoor Air Quality in a University Library Building)

  • Recently, there have been a large number of remodeling (or renovation) works in old buildings in urban areas. Compared to new buildings, environmental risk might be more significant in such buildings where remodeling works are going on, since some parts of the building may still be in service for people. This study was carried out to investigate the impacts of remodeling works on the indoor air quality (IAQ) of a large building (a 22 stories university library). Indoor air monitoring was conducted during and after the remodeling works every two weeks for a one year period, and target compounds included BTEX, styrene, TVOC, carbonyl compounds such as formaldehyde and acetaldehyde. $CO,\;CO_2,\;PM_{10}$, and $PM_{2.5}$. Overall, the IAQ appeared to be recovered within two months after the remodeling works. However, in some places, concentrations of formaldehyde, toluene, xylene. and ethylbenzene showed higher levels even after works than those during the works. The results indicate that painting, glues and office furnitures are major sources of aromatic VOCs and formaldehyde. Therefore, in order to decrease the concentrations of toxic VOCs, the use of environmental-friendly building materials is strongly recommended during the remodeling works. In addition, IAQ control and management scheme (for example, baking the inside of the building) should be taken into consideration before reopening the buildings.

비주거용 건물의 리모델링 계획 시 에너지 성능 향상을 위한 LT method의 적용 방법에 관한 연구 (An application of LT method for Design-decisions to improve energy performance of non-domestic buildings during the early stage of Remodeling Process)

  • Remodeling for an aged building is emerging as a potential alternative towards the future of the building industry. It is a more effective method than the new construction in environmental friendly view. Most of remodeling were aimed at the improvement of the function of the deteriorated finishing materials. But, at the early stage of remodeling process, energy performance of a building can be improved by adopting passive design solutions such as daylighting and natural ventilation. The purpose of this study is to explain the passive design strategy in remodeling process and to suggest a application of LT method. LT method is an energy-design tool which responds to parameters available early in design development. It provides an output of annual primary energy for lighting, heating, cooling and ventilation in non-domestic buildings. LT method basically uses the concept of passive zone and non-passive zones and should be used to evaluate the energy performance of a number of options and to make comparisons. In this paper, the process of LT method is introduced and investigated an applicability in our office building.

학교시설의 그린리모델링을 위한 디자인지표 개발 및 사용자참여설계 활용에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Design Indicator and User Participation Design for Green Remodeling of School Facilitiess)

  • This study has developed a design indicator required to promote green remodeling in school facilities. And, implemented the green remodeling pilot test on the school facilities that are planning actual remodeling. This pilot test suggested user participation design methodology such as verification of the developed design indicator, design goal setting, evaluation and adjustment of design proposal. The Green Remodeling Design Indicators were classified into 3 large categories of architectural performance, usability, and design through analysis of cases related to 'green buildings' and 'remodeling'. We have developed nine middle categories such as architectural and structural performance, facility performance, environmentally-friendly, circulation, space, amenity, harmony with surroundings, form and symbolization. In addition, 42 detailed indicators were developed for each category, including general, functional, and special indicators. For the verification of this study, two green remodeling design workshops were conducted for Gwangju J elementary school. The first design workshop presented the importance of the design indicator and set the goal of the design plan of green remodeling for project. And, the second Workshop presented the evaluation of the satisfaction with the design and the direction of future adjustment for project. The design indicator developed in this study can be utilized as a design indicator of design quality management and decision system for the school green remodeling in the future. In addition, by accumulating information on the Green Remodeling Project, it is necessary to spread green remodeling and construct a sustainable building environment.

친환경 리모델링 철거공사 프로세스 모델 개발 (Development a Process Model of Environment-friendly Demolition Works for Aged Housing Remodeling)

  • 리모델링 공사는 신축공사와 달리 철거공사가 주공정으로 선행되어야 하는데 현행 철거공사는 개략적 수준의 철거관리계획에 의한 생산성만을 강조한 철거 형태로 인해 폐자재 재활용이 되지 않고 있어 자원낭비, 환경파괴를 가중시키고 있으며, 철거작업 중 작업자의 안전과 구조체의 안전등이 전혀 고려되지 않고 철거하는 것이 현실이다. 따라서 친환경 철거공사가 되기 위해서는 프로세스의 개선이 우선 되어야하며 그 단계를 1) 철거관련 조사분석, 2) 철거관리 도서작성, 3) 철거관리 시공계획서작성, 4) 철거시공 및 감리, 5) 철거 후 관리의 5단계로 구분하였으며, 특히 철거도면 작성으로 표준철거 WBS가 구축되고, 철거장비 및 공법, 폐기물 투하, 철거공정계획 수립이 가능하며 마감재 철거 후 구조체의 안전점검을 실시하므로써 철거중 불가피한 보수보강이 가능하며, 철거완료 Check list 작성에 따라 리모델링 본 공사의 Database 활용이 가능하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 현행 리모델링 철거공사 프로세스(AS-IS)의 문제점을 분석하고 개선된 친환경 리모델링 철거공사 프로세스(TO-BE)를 IDEF0 모델을 사용하여 제안하고자 한다.

  • The purpose of this study is propose eco-friendly remodeling while protecting the living environment of existing residents and preserving the living in pleasant by considering the characteristic of high density sloped residential area. And then, the optimum insulation condition is analyzed based on the energy efficiency, economic analysis and environmental effect. It will be possible as the basic information for remodeling of each housing in sloped area. The energy demanding, cost and the carbon emission reduction is analyzed with the residential area in Seo-gu, Busan by eco-remodelling.

노후 임대아파트단지 리모델링을 통한 노인거주환경개선효과에 관한 연구 (A study on the effectiveness of Senior living environmental improvement through remodeling of old apartment complex)

  • Purpose: Korean society has already entered an aged society but there aren't many evidence-based studies on the elderly-friendly design elements in the apartment environment, which is the main residential type in Korea. The main purpose of this study is to verify the necessity and expandability of the outdoor environment design in the public rental apartment complex through the evaluation of the effectiveness and satisfaction of SMG(Seoul Metropolitan Government) Cognitive Health Design Project in GR 1 apartment complex. Methods: The research subjects were GR 1-complex as experimental group and the nearby Wolgye Deer 1-complex as control group, both public rental apartment and located in Seoul. As a research method, the survey was conducted before and after the implementation of SMG project for residents of the apartment. A total of 200 preliminary surveys and 203 post surveys were conducted. Results: As a result of this study, residents' accidents related safety have decreased, and both the frequency of use and satisfaction of most facilities have increased. It is noteworthy that the increase in cognitive items in the post-survey. Also, 74.5% of the residents evaluated that the complex was better to live after the project was implement. Implications: The fact that the preliminary surveys were not conducted for the same person is considered as the limitation of the study, but it is meaningful in that it systematically assesses the effectiveness of the project on the cognitive health of the outdoor residential environment towards age-friendly city.

공동주택 재건축과 리모델링의 친환경성 비교분석 - CO2 배출량 분석을 중심으로 - (Comparison Analysis of Environmental Performance between Reconstruction and Remodeling Alternatives for Aged - Focused on CO2 Emissions Analysis -)

  • 최근 국내외적으로 환경문제와 자원고갈에 대한 관심이 높아지는 가운데, 국내 건물부문의 온실가스 배출량은 매년 증가하는 추세이다. 또한 국내 노후화 공동주택이 지속적으로 발생하여 온실가스 증가에 주요원인이 되고 있다. 이는 정부의 2020년 건물부분의 이산화탄소 배출량 저감을 위해 노후화된 설비나 환경개선에 대한 고려가 필요함을 의미한다. 노후화된 공동주택의 개선방법은 크게 재건축과 리모델링 사업이 고려되는데, 온실가스 문제와 함께 친환경성 평가의 중요성이 대두되고, 사업수행시 사업결정의 주요 지표 중 하나로 자리잡고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 공동주택 주거환경 개선을 위한 두 가지 대안이라고 볼 수 있는 재건축과 리모델링의 친환경성을 비교분석해 보는 것이다. 이를 위하여 본 논문에서는 재건축과 리모델링사업의 특성을 파악하고, 친환경성 비교를 위해 단계별로 동일한 조건을 설정하여, 전생애주기 친환경성 평가와 그 의미를 해석해 보았다. 연구결과로 전생애주기의 LCA 평가를 하였을 때, 대안A(재건축)대비 대안B(리모델링1)의 $CO_2$발생량 차이는 95.85%로 약 4.1% 정도의 $CO_2$감소효과를 얻는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 대안C(리모델링2)의 경우 대안A(재건축) 대비 90.01%로 10%정도 $CO_2$절감 효과를 나타냈다. 또한 단위세대(85m2)를 기준으로 탄소배출권시세를 적용한 결과 대안C(리모델링2)가 대안A(재건축)에 비하여 40만원 정도 환경비용 절감효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 공동주택의 주거환경 개선의 대안을 선택함에 있어서 중요한 근거가 될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
