  • Technology evaluation for technology innovation of venture firms should take the rapidly changing corporate environment, the ambiguity of language used in evaluation, and the inaccuracy of evaluation index into consideration. In this paper, targeting the absorptive capacity and technological entrepreneurship which are typical evaluation factors of venture firms, an ACTEM model to calculate the importance, priority, and dynamic capability of factors, applying Fuzzy-AHP was proposed. The fuzzy theory was introduced to compensate for the ambiguity of cognitive judgments when calculating weighted values for the factors that made up an assessment scale. An assessment criteria framework for absorptive capacity, technological entrepreneurship, and dynamic capability, which were not considered in previous studies on the evaluation and measurement of technological prowess, so that the users could have a realistic alternative to choose. The study compared the ACTEM model with the old AHP assessment method and found that "knowledge acquisition" and "producing ability" were the highest in absorptive capacity and technological entrepreneurship, respectively, thus demonstrating its validity.

  • In recent years, college students have emerged as the main players in Chinese innovation and start-ups. Based on the TPB theory, this paper introduced the start-up education variables and established the influence model of start-up education for university students in China on the motivation of start-up. In this paper, a questionnaire containing five variables, including behavior attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavior control, entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial intention, was investigated for students from six universities in Jilin Province, China, and statistical analysis was carried out using SPSS23.0. The study found that the entrepreneurship education of college students had the greatest impact on entrepreneurial intentions compared to the three elements of planned behavioral theory: behavioral attitudes, subjective norms and perceived behavioral control. This paper has a guiding significance in strengthening start-up education in universities. This study was conducted only for students from six universities in Jilin Province, China, and the scope of the study needs to be expanded throughout China in order to generalize the research results.

  • Building on the DC interaction model between a parent company and its spin-offs, we examine that a dyadic relationship can be differentiated within the functions of space, motivation, and time. We investigate that these three factors encompassing the parent-spin-off DC relationship can be applicable to both linear(i.e., geographic proximity and low spin-off CEO's salary is positive) and nonlinear(i.e., too much frequency of new spin-off creation is as harmful as too little) effects on determining the performance of spin-off firms. The direction of causality is underpinned by social capital, human capital, and compensation-activation theory rather than by the normal consequences of previous empirical research. Further, our results suggest the overlap between DC and entrepreneurship; namely, spin-off firms create, learn, and exploit opportunities through a reconfiguration of parent DC so that DC establishes itself as a key concept in the entrepreneurship domain.

  • The purpose of this paper is to examine the relationship between entrepreneurship and management with respect to research and education. There has been scholars who argue entrepreneurship is, and should be, different from management. Most famous example is Shane, who strongly advocate the distinct domain of entrepreneurship clearly distinguishable from (strategic) management. In spite of the argument, it is true that in most universities, entrepreneurship research and education are encompassed as part of a business school. In Korea, however, where entrepreneurship education has been supported and in part led by government, the situation is different. In this paper, we examine such phenomena and then investigate the related papers published in Korea since 2000. We categorized the papers according to the research context, theory and methodology adopted, and variables used for empirical study. The result illustrate that there exist a substantial number of entrepreneurship papers, distinguishable from management papers, focusing the narrow topic of 'entrepreneurial intention'. However, the other papers with titles or keyword of entrepreneurship are on the borderline of entrepreneurship and management. Futhermore, in-depth research on the entrepreneurial process which is often argued as unique topic of entrepreneurial research is very rare. Therefore, the quantity and quality of future study on the entrepreneurial process will be the touchstone to judge whether or not the entrepreneurship and management are differentiated.

  • Struggle refers to the process of overcoming various difficulties for a goal. The spirit of struggle is a positive attitude and reaction reflected in the process of struggle. Cultivating the spirit of struggle of college students is the call of the new era. In essence, the cultivation of the spirit of struggle is a process of learning, which is in line with Bandura's Observation Learning Theory(Bandura, 1977):Attention, Maintenance, Reproduction and Motivation. The cultivation of College Students' spirit of struggle in the new era is also a learning process of enriched experience. It is necessary to cultivate the spirit of struggle into the soul of college students and make it become a habit of students. Moreover, it is crucial to carry out adaptive transformation of Bandura's observation learning theory. By studying the mechanism of the spirit of struggle of college students, taking innovation and entrepreneurship education as a means, and aiming at cultivating the connotation of President Xi's thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, this paper constructs the AIST model for cultivating the spirit of struggle of college students in the new era. This model includes online learning acceptance platform(Acceptance), classroom experience stimulation platform(Inspiration), iterative training solidified platform (Solidification), and competition practice transfer platform(Transfer). The purpose of this model is to provide a practical way for universities to fulfill the fundamental task of moral education and cultivate qualified socialist builders and successors. The number of students using the online learning acceptance platform ranked the first among that of the similar courses in China; The classroom experience stimulation platform and the iterative training solidified platform support each other, with an effective rate of 97%; The competition practice transfer platform has realized the continuous growth of the number of awards won in competitions for three years. The direction of future efforts is to establish the external mechanism of the spirit of struggle, to ensure the effectiveness of classroom experience and iterative training, to cultivate teachers with coaching skills, and to accurately measure the transformation point of external and endogenous motivation.
