Purpose: Due to an ever more interconnected global commercial environment, the role of SMEs from emerging markets has attracted considerable attention in business literature of late. Reinforced by strategic management theory, this study builds on aspects such as entrepreneurial orientation and dynamic capabilities to construct and test a framework that focuses on exploring their associations with export performance. Research design, data and methodology: To contribute further towards a deeper understanding of these markets, the current study empirically tests a model using data collected from 225 exporting firms located throughout South Africa. Results: The results from the data analysis show that entrepreneurial orientation contributes significantly towards improving the performance of South African SMEs. Additionally, this study integrates three dynamic capabilities in the strategy-performance relationship to test their interacting effects on the correlation between entrepreneurial orientation and export performance. Further findings advocate support for relationship-based capabilities playing a moderating role between entrepreneurial orientation and the exporting performance of small and medium firms emanating from emerging markets. Conclusions: Findings provide substance to the argument that entrepreneurship, as a strategy-making process, leads to export performance in emerging nations. Especially, this study provides several suggestions as to how small and medium-sized organizations can develop their exporting performance based on the research findings.
The government is focusing its attention and support on start-ups. Nevertheless, there is anxiety and fear about starting a business at the base of public awareness. Experienced as a way to overcome fear and difficulty. Few prior studies have been done on experience factors as ones influencing entrepreneurial intention. In this study, I studied whether the experience of successful entrepreneurship through cultural indirect experience affect the resolution of fear about establishing a business. Among the influencing factors on the entrepreneurial intention, business motivation, social support and awareness of entrepreneur were selected as independent variables. In addition, by applying the cultivation theory, the drama role models were set as a controlling variable. For empirical analysis, a survey was conducted targeting 399 ordinary persons. The hypothesis was tested through regression analysis using the SPSS 23 statistical package. The moderating effect was analyzed using Process Macro 3.5. Self-fulfillment, livelihood, economic motivation, social support, and awareness of entrepreneur are sub-factors of business motivation, And all of these had a positive significant effect on entrepreneurial intention. Among the significant variables, self-fulfillment was found to have the greatest effect. On the other hand, as a result of analyzing the moderating effect of the drama role model, it was found play a role in controlling between self-fulfillment and entrepreneurial intention, between livelihood and entrepreneurial intention, and between awareness of entrepreneur and entrepreneurial intention. Based on these research results, academic and practical implications were presented.

Researches based on the pattern of planned behavior holds that the three variables of entrepreneurial attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavior control influence each other and influence entrepreneurial intentions respectively. However, there are also different, even conflicting research conclusions that continue to emerge. Researches based on the pattern of alertness, believe that profit opportunities and individuals' pursuit to truth are the driving forces. Many scholars have demonstrated the impact of individual entrepreneurial alertness on entrepreneurial intentions. However, as an exogenous causal agent, profit opportunities have a logical problem: if there are no other assumptions, the mere existence of opportunities does not adequately explain entrepreneurial alertness. To address this gap, this study considered samples from mainland China, where entrepreneurial activities are very active currently, to test the role that entrepreneurial alertness is assumed to play in the planned behavior model. The results show that the three dimensions of alertness, individually partly intermediate the influence of entrepreneurial attitude on entrepreneurial intention, the influence of subjective norms on entrepreneurial intention, and that of perceived behavior control on entrepreneurial intention. This article studied the production of entrepreneurial intention by integrating the two patterns of planned behavior and alertness through empirical analysis, and opened up a new field for subsequent research on entrepreneurial intention.

The purpose of this paper is to clarify the actual conditions of entrepreneurial school which was drawn from the new industry-academy cooperation paradigm, and to suggest a role model for educational program for entrepreneurial school, in order to increase its self-generating ability. According to survey of 5 entrepreneurial schools, most of curriculums did not show a user-based. This indicates that series of processes, such as analyzing user's(learner, local community, institution) request and setting up the goal are not being conducted professionally and systematically. Through this study, I would like to deliver the importance of new industry-academy cooperation paradigm of entrepreneurial schools and incite them to apply major principles of new industry-academy cooperation paradigm to their entrepreneurial education program, in order to enable continuous survival and development. This study has conducted research on the actual conditions of entrepreneurial school to examine whether the role model of entrepreneurial education program coincides with the paradigm of new industry-academy cooperation paradigm. Thus, this study has conducted two verifications as whole. First, through theoretical examination, this study has drawn out the major principles of new industry-academy cooperation paradigm and considered effective applying method for it. Second, this study has analyzed overseas' cases for development of entrepreneurial education program and proved the propriety of major principles. Through theory and case studies, the study presented a role models for each subjects and provided necessity for applying major principles to entrepreneurial school's research on the actual operating condition.
This paper aims to examine structural relationship between startup programs aided by university what reflected in GEM(Global Entrepreneurship Monitor) model and was establishing entrepreneurial intention of current university students. Total of 364 suitable sample data were used to empirical analysis hypotheses. The results of the hypothesis test through analysis of the structural model are summarized as follows. First, among the factors of universities' startup support programs, entrepreneurial education, entrepreneurial consulting, R&D transfer, and entrepreneurial culture has a positive effect on recognition of entrepreneurial opportunities. Second, entrepreneurial education and entrepreneurial consulting has a positive influence on entrepreneurship. Third, the parameters of entrepreneurial opportunities and entrepreneurship positively influences on entrepreneurial intention. Therefore, University should support entrepreneurial education, R&D transfer, entrepreneurial consulting and makes entrepreneurial culture intensely for vitalizing university students entrepreneurial intention.

Recently, Start-ups has been emphasized as part of a career-breaking women returning to society policy. To this Policy, the relationship between the planned happenstance skills and the entrepreneurial intentions of a career-breaking woman was investigated, and the successful role model as an individual environmental factor and the moderating effect of social support forces was verified. The results of the survey analysis of 139 women who have experienced career cut-offs in the metropolitan area and Dae-gu and Gyeong-buk are as follows; First, the planned happenstance skills of career-breaking women affect a positive effect on the entrepreneurial intentions. Second, it was found that the moderating effect of the successful role model does not appear in the relationship between the planned happenstance skills of a career-breaking woman and the entrepreneurial intentions. Third, it was found that there was no moderating effect of the social support forces in the relationship between the planned happenstance skills and the entrepreneurial intentions of a career-breaking woman. Last, It was found that the entrepreneurial intentions, which is a personal psychological characteristic for career-breaking women is more directly affected than personal environments. In order to increase career-breaking women's the entrepreneurial intentions, it is necessary to develop psychological skill-building programs which can enhance the accessibility of start-ups and raise the perception of Start-ups. In addition, it is necessary to continuously expand exposure opportunities such as role models and success stories which succeeded in starting a business after a career break and to expand social support forces that can help with courage, advice, and change management to discover opportunities of start-ups.

This research paper aims to provide valuable data to the policy makers in establishing business activation plan through improving university students'entrepreneurial intention by carrying out international comparison research regarding the social environmental factors that influences entrepreneurial intention. There have been multiple researches on personal traits that affect entrepreneurial intention in the past, but this paper examines the social environmental factors that impact entrepreneurial intention. The result of this study is as follows. First, university's assistive activity for entrepreneurship, successful entrepreneurial role model, and business market scale has positive effect on entrepreneurial intention, while government assistive policies for entrepreneurship has no direct effect on entrepreneurial intention. Second, there were some differences of entrepreneurial intention in demographic characteristics. The mean of entrepreneurial intention was highest in Chinese students. Students who have ever started their own business were highest in total mean comparison of entrepreneurial intention. Also entrepreneurial intention mean was higher in men generally. Beside, discussion is made on the implication of the study, the limitations of the study, and some directions for future studies.
This study attempted to identify the factors affecting entrepreneurial intention and to confirm the moderating effect of social support that plays a positive role in increasing entrepreneurial intention. The subjects of the study were 419 ordinary people, and data were obtained online and analyzed. The analysis method of this study was based on the SPSS statistical program Ver. 24, and a hierarchical regression analysis method was conducted to analyze the moderating effect. The results of hypothesis verification analysis in this study are as follows. First, innovativeness, risk-taking, self-fulfillment, economic motivation, immersion in a drama, drama role model, and indirect experience, all had a significant positive(+) effect on entrepreneurial intention. Second, among the factors affecting entrepreneurial intention, self-fulfillment was found to have the greatest influence. Third, it was confirmed that the moderating effect of social support between various variables and entrepreneurial intention had a significant effect on innovativeness, self-fulfillment, drama role model, and indirect experience, and entrepreneurial intention. The academic value of this study is to confirm the effect of drama characteristic variables on entrepreneurial intention. In addition, it was possible to confirm the moderating effect of social support, which is the total of individual external support. The implication of this study is that the desire for achievement had the greatest influence on entrepreneurial intention. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a desire to achieve in start-up support policies and start-up education. In addition, in light of the ripple effect of TV dramas, drama role model and indirect experience increase entrepreneurial intention, so it was possible to predict its influence on changes in perception of start-ups and entrepreneurs.

This study empirically analyzes how the career orientation factors of startup entrepreneurs affect entrepreneurial satisfaction as well as business sustainability. We propose directions for startup sustainability and development. Based on previous research, we defined the career orientation of entrepreneurs through the five orientation factors of security, autonomy, technical competence, managerial competence, and entrepreneurial creativity. We constructed a research model to determine whether these factors have a causal relationship with entrepreneurial satisfaction or business sustainability through the medium of organizational entrepreneurship. We surveyed startups in Korea using a questionnaire and collected and analyzed a total of 282 points of survey data. The analysis results demonstrated that the entrepreneurial creativity and managerial competence of the members of a startup can play an important role within entrepreneurial satisfaction and business sustainability. Both autonomy and technical competence exhibited no effect on entrepreneurial satisfaction and business sustainability through the medium of entrepreneurship, while security showed a negative effect. In order to improve entrepreneurial satisfaction and achieve business sustainability, we confirmed that it was more important for startups to consider the creativity and business management competences of entrepreneurs rather than pursue business security or have a technology-oriented attitude.
For venturing into international markets, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) have not only emphasized internal resources but entrepreneurial orientation has also become the need of the day due to its significant role in increasing firm's competitive capabilities. Although research indicates that the competitive strategies can significantly impact export performance, minor attention is given to the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation, business competitive strategy and export performance of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). This study scrutinizes the effect of each dimension of entrepreneurial orientation (i.e., innovativeness, risk-taking, and proactiveness) and each of generic competitive strategies (i.e., cost leadership and differentiation) on the export performance of Chinese SMEs. And we investigated the moderating effect of entrepreneurial orientation on the relationship between the competitive strategies and export performance. We surveyed 217 Chinese SMEs through a structured questionnaire. For the data analysis and hypotheses testing, we used AMOS. 27. The findings display that differentiation and cost leadership strategies significantly improve export performance. The innovativeness, risk-taking and proactiveness also spur Chinese SME's export performance. Further we find that adding entrepreneurial orientation significantly improves our model of the relationship between the competitive strategies and export performance. Thus, our study extends the entrepreneurial orientation literature and provides interesting new insights into how entrepreneurial orientation helps firms create more successful export operations.
