The species of the genus Entoloma recorded in Korea until now are arranged with Korean Entoloma monography. It was made with modified keys of classification of Hesler and Noordeloos. On the basis of it, the genus Entoloma of Korea is classified into 7 subgenera, 10 sections, and 80 species.

Many Entoloma were collected at Mt. Baiyang, Mt. Jiry, Mt, Sunun, Mt, Naejang and Mt. Manduck to September 1991 from June 1991. These spercies were identified. According to the resulting. Entoloma readii, E. cinerascens, E.padiceum, E.squamulosum and E. umbilicatum were newly to Korea.

전주근교에 위치한 만덕산은 전라북도 임업시험림이 있는 곳으로 산림이 잘 보존된 지역이다. 인공적으로 식재한 숲과 자연림이 어울려져 균류 발생에 좋은 환경을 가지고 있다. 이 지역을 중심으로 1989년 4월부터 1990년 10월까지 외대버섯을 다수 채집하여 동정하였다. 그 결과 한국산 미기록종으로 확인 된 것은 다음과 같으며 이들에 대하여 한국보통명과 한국어 설명을 약술하였다. Entoloma scabrosum(껄껄이 외대버섯), E. ae-thiops var. aethiops(검은비늘 외대버섯), E. pallid-olivaceum(퇴색노랑 외대버섯), E. sericellum(비단 외대버섯), E. sarcitum(짐 외대버섯), E. anatinum(민꼬리 외대버섯), E. tortuosum(굴곡 외대버섯), E. mephiticum(독 외대버섯).

전주(全州)교외에 위치한 만덕산(萬德山)과 그 부근에서 많은 외대버섯속(屬)을 채집(採集)하여 동정(同定) 하였다 . 그 결과(結果) 한국산(韓國産) 미기록종(未記錄種)으로 확인된 것은 다음과 같으며 이들에 대하여 보통명(普通名)을 신칭(新稱)하였다.;Entoloma cuboideum Hesler(네모외대버섯), E. subquadratum Hesler(네모외대버섯아재비), E. albinellum Hesler(흰배꼽외대버섯), E. albidum(Murr.) Hesler(흰색외대버섯), E. commune Murr.(보통외대버섯) E. amplifolium(Murr.) Hesler(큰옆외대버섯), E. fragran. Hesler(향외대버섯), E. lampropum(Fr.) Hesler(빛외대버섯) .

1990년 5월부터 10월까지 내장산 국립공원, 선운산 도립공원 및 만덕산 일대에서 외대버섯들을 다수 채집하였다. 이 외대버섯들을 동정한 결과, 한국미기록종으로 확인된 것은 다음과 같으며 이들에 대하여 한국보통명과 한국어 설명을 첨가하였다. Entoloma subfarinaceum(가루외대버섯아재비) : 균모(갓)는 소형, 배꼽형, 회갈색, 가루비늘, 가장 자리에 줄무늬가 있다. 주름살은 올린주름살 또는 바른주름살, 가장자리는 물결형이다. 자루(대)는 가늘과 비틀리면, 회갈색, 윗쪽은 가루비늘이 분포 하나 아래는 밋밋하다. 포자는 중형, 5각형, 연낭 상체와 측낭상체는 없다. 여름에 혼효림의 낙엽속의 흙에 산생 또는 군생한다. E. viriginicum(처녀의대버섯) : 균모는 소형, 배꼽형, 회갈색, 가장자리에 줄무늬가 있다. 주름살은 배불뚝형, 간격은 좁고, 끝블은 주름살이다. 자루는 원통형, 거의 청색이다. 포자는 중형, 대부분 7각형으로 결절형, 연낭상체와 측낭상체는 없다. 여름에 고목의 이끼속에 군생한다. (중략)

1990년 여름에서 가을동안 국립공원 내장산, 도립공원 장안산 및 전주와 전주근교의 만덕산에서 많은 외대버섯속을 채집하였다. 내장산 국립공원에서는 등산로를 따라서 군데군데 발달한 조릿대(일명 신호대) 숲의 죽림과 활엽수림에서 채집하였다. 장안산 도립공원에서는 역시 등산로의 조릿대 숲에서 채집하였으며 만덕산에서는 곰티재의 길가와 낙엽활엽수림에서 채집하였다. 이 외대버섯들을 동정한 결과 한국 미기록종으로 확인된 것은 다음과 같으며 이들에 대하여 한국 보통명을 신칭하였다. Entoloma quamodiscum(비듬외대버섯), E. nigroviolaceum var. nigroviolaceum(흑자색외대버섯아재비), E. subrhombisporum(연포자외대버섯아재비), E. spadix(이삭외대버섯), E. fumosialbum(흰연기외대버섯), E. peckianum(흠집외대버섯), E. strictius var. strictius(직립외대버섯아재비), E. albatum(흰배꼽외대버섯아재비).

Seven species of the genus Entoloma were collectted from the areas of Mt. Naejang National Park, Mt. Jiri National Park, Mt. Sunun Provincial Park and Mt. manduck from June, 1991 to September, 1991. These species were identified new to Korea : Entoloma subvile, E. bruneomarginatum, E. minutoalbum, E. subplanum, E. melleipes, E. perabidum, and E. pyrium.

Two Entoloma species, E. eugenei and E. subaraneosum, are described here as newly recorded species in Korea. These two species were recently described from far Eastern Asia, Primorsky Territory of Russia, and Jilin province of China, respectively. Here, these species were reported based on internal transcribed spacer and partial large subunit of ribosomal RNA sequences, and macro- and micro-scopic characteristics for the first time in Korea.

Apexes of basidia in Rhodophyllus(synonyum of Entoloma) muraii var. albus are divided into four sections or depressed in the center. A spore is formed by inflation of the apex of the sterigma. The apex of the sterigma is swollen and changed from a papilla through a penisform and a club into a globeform. Six spots of globose spore are regularly or irregularly depressed with hilum axes. Finally the spores are cuboid. Basidia of Entoloma squamiferrum are developed from hymenium layer of crator-shaped parabasidium. Apex of basidium is flat or depressed in the center. Although four sterigmata are developed, only two sterigmata are symmetrically swollen to two spores in certain basidia. It means that two sterigmata among four sterigmata are infertile. The apex of the sterigma is swollen into a paillaform, and then turned into a penisform. It is swollen from a clubform into a globeform. Six spots of the surfaces of globose spore are deperssed with hilum axes. Finally the spore is cuboid, and then it is released from hilum. Four sterigmata of papillaform of E. violaceobrunneum are developed from cartor-shaped basidium. The apex of sterigma is swollen to a small globeform. And then it is swollen to a clubform. The clubform is again swollen to a ellipticalform, and then more than six spots of spore surfaces are ramomly depressed with hium axes. When the depression of surface of a elliptical spore is over, it is the multi-angular spore of the heterometrical-form.

1990년 5월부터 1991년 10월까지 국립공원 내장산, 지리산과 전주근교의 용문사와 전라도 임업시험림이 있는 만덕산, 강원도 평창군의 발왕산에서 다수의 외대 버섯를 채집하였다. 이 외대버섯류를 동정한 결과 한국 미기록종으로 확인된 것은 다음과같으며 이들에 대하여 한국보통명을 신칭하였다. 이것들은 E. fuscodiscum (검댕이 외대 버섯), E. incanum (녹색외대버섯), E. fracturans (파열외대버섯), E. lignoputridum (고목외대버섯), E. nigroviolaceum var. striatulum (흑보라줄외대버섯), E. grayanum var. grayanum (회색외대버섯아재비), E. maleoens (큰렌즈외대버섯) and E. pungens (가시외대버섯)이다.
