  • We study the cost of capital of Islamic enterprise using the Capital Asset Pricing Model(CAPM). When there exists no risk-free interest rate, the security market line(SML) of Islamic enterprise shows an upward slope starting from the origin. The slope is bigger than that of SML with risk-free interest rate. This is because the cost of capital of Islamic enterprise is higher than that of western firms for the same level of systematic risk. When the effect of zakat is considered, the risk-free interest rate is replaced by minimum required rate of return. The SML of Islamic enterprise reveals an upward slope but it does not pass through the origin. This is because Islamic enterprise cannot invest on risk-free asset. In order to overcome the theoretic limits of CAPM, we propose to use multi-factor approach such as arbitrage pricing model instead of single-factor model for future study.

  • In the rapidly changing business environment, companies are introducing information technology to effectively manage internal resources in order to achieve a sustainable competitive advantage. We presented the Enterprise Social Network Service(SNS) as new information technology. Enterprise SNS provided employers with sociable functions like Facebook while supporting general task such as mail, authorization and notice. In this research, we focused on Enterprise SNS and suggested self-disclosure, enjoyment in helping others, perceived organizational support, generativity capacity as antecedent variables of Enterprise SNS usage. In addition, we verified the effect of the mediating role of generativity capacity between Enterprise SNS usage and job performance. For empirically verifying the proposed model, we collected sample data from 225 workers using Enterprise SNS and conducted analysis using a structural equation modeling. We expect that this study provides managers who are interested in introducing enterprise SNS with insights on how to facilitate enterprise SNS usage. Also, this study suggests useful theoretical implications to researchers who are interested in the use of enterprise SNS from the context of knowledge management.

  • An Enterprise Architecture (EA) Framework is a tool which supports implementation of the Enterprise architecture that is used to enhance the interoperability of the IT components. In this paper, we propose a framework named as ENAE (ENterprise Architecture Framework) which combines enterprise architecture unit (AU), reference model, and association relationship between domain model. Architecture Unit is defined as a minimum set of a business process and its associated components such as application system and technical components. An EA can be designed and implemented by the aggregating the related AUs including association relationship between Architecture Units. Because UML model has limitations to describe business domain semantics because it is designed for general purpose, we adapt the DSM (Domain Specific Modeling) concept. We describe association relationship between Architecture Units designed by Domain Specific Modeling through Topic Map. Session 2 describes related works about Enterprise Architecture frameworks, Domain Specific Modeling, and Topic Map, while Session 3 explains components of the ENAF. Finally Session 4 shows the case study for implementation of the new Framework called ENAF.

  • EJB(Enterprise JavaBeans), the cornerstone for J2EE(Java$^{TM}$ 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition), is a server-side component standard model. Recently, development of supporting tool for this component model becomes important and there are many tools for developing EJB. In this paper, we purpose to design Enterprise Beans by component model, and perform design and implementation of code generator which generates skeleton code for Enterprise Beans automatically. We also implement EJB deployer for deploying these on application server. The code generator can make a JAR file automatically. This JAR file is deployed on application server by EJB specification as well. Using this tool, developer can create and deploy of Enterprise Beans more fast and exactly.y.

  • With the globalization of economy, industries are facing increasingly greater challenges. Business integration, both internally and externally, is undoubtedly an important topic. However, how does an enterprise create its own value will be the key to an enterprise's success in the future. Therefore, this study bases on the evaluation of company value to assess the key factors and competitive strategies of an enterprise. Yet, only with stable enterprise performance can the company value be correctly evaluated. This will be an important issue for enterprise performance and business strategy. Subject of this study are mainly small and medium-sized (enterprises (SMEs). Model construction for SME value assessment is established through the system dynamics approach. Scholars' opinions on literature validation and application of Delphi Method are explored through literature review on local and foreign studies, in order to compile the relevant perspectives and indices for enterprise value creation. Hence model construction of the value creation system is established, and the correlation between the perspectives and related factors is explored to understand the overall dynamics model of SMEs' value creation system. Consequently, a research method based on the system dynamics perspective is provided for the study of enterprise value creation is provided, as policy reference for improvement of decision-making and value creation.

  • This study investigates the relationship between social capital and enterprise performance with knowledge sharing as the mediator. By employing the data of 677 respondents collected from delivering questionnaires to small and medium-size firms in Vietnam in 2020, this study suggests a two-step approach that combines exploration factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), and path analysis (SEM). The empirical findings significantly support our proposed model by demonstrating that knowledge sharing mediates the connection between all three elements of social capital and enterprise performance. At the same time, the results emphasize the importance of knowledge sharing as a major benefit of social capital and a substantial driving element of both operational and financial performance. The results show that all three social capital qualities (structural, relational, and cognitive) significantly impact both tacit and explicit knowledge sharing, while knowledge is one of the main routes connecting social capital to enterprise performance. Hence, our research model may be used in future studies to evaluate social capital, knowledge sharing, and firm performance as a new theoretical model. Our results offer a plausible explanation for how social capital improves knowledge sharing and enterprise performance.

  • Although various models have been developed to establish the enterprise credit scoring, no model has utilized the enterprise human resource so far. The purpose of this study was to build an enterprise credit scoring model using enterprise human resource factors. The data to measure the enterprise credit score were made by the first-year research material of HCCP was used to investigate the enterprise human resource and 2004 Credit Rating Score generated from KIS-Credit Scoring Model. The independent variables were chosen among questionnaires of HCCP based on Mclagan(1989)'s HR wheel model, and the credit score of Korean Information Service was used for the dependent variables. The statistical method used for data analysis was logistic regression. As a result of constructing a model, 22 variables were selected. To see these specifically by each large area, 6 variables in human resource development(HRD) area, 15 in human resource management(HRM) area, and 1 in the other area were chosen. As a consequence of 10 fold cross validation, misclassification rate and G-mean were 30.81 and 68.27 respectively. Decile having the highest response rate was bigger than the one having the lowest response rate by 6.08 times, and had a tendency to decrease. Therefore, the result of study showed that the proposed model was appropriate to measure enterprise credit score using enterprise human resource variables.
