This study adopts the concept of social innovation cluster in which social economy organizations as one of the emerging axes of economic systems operate in collaboration with government agencies, investment institutions, intermediate supporting organizations and non-profit organizations, and investigates how the clusters of this kind grow in the context of the Korean socio-economic situation for the cases of Seongdong-gu and Eunpyeong-gu in Seoul, Korea. For this purpose, it has identified the actors of the clusters and their internal relations, and analyzed the process of cluster formation. A social network analysis of the partnerships between the actors has shown that Seongdong-gu has more diversified types of the network participation of universities, global networks and investment institutions than Eunpyeong-gu. It is interpreted that this pattern has resulted from the domination of private organizations in the former area, which is also confirmed by in-depth interviews with persons involved in the clusters. Although the facets of social innovation clusters are manifested in both areas, even in their initial stage, such factors as linkages between industrial actors and convergence with other clusters, which appear in the maturing stage of cluster formation, has yet to be found. It is suggested that the sustainable growth of social innovation clusters should be accompanied by information sharing and cooperation between the two areas on the future orientation of development.

Today, there is increasing recognition of the importance of urban regeneration for better public places. Urban parks as a public area play an important role in harnessing its positive impact on people's well-being: where the standards and funding of/for the parks are getting worse. There is however less a focus on policy approach to park regeneration in the country. Neverthless, a few UK's cases of such innovative park management(PM) has shown successful park regeneration based on policy support. Therefore, the aim of this research is to draw policy implications by exploring a case of successful park regeneration. To address the aim, this research conducts an in-depth case study of 'Manor Fields Park, UK', digging into its PM structure and PM body 'Green Estate Ltd' in relation to relevant policy. The data is mainly collected by interviews including a group interview. The analytical framework 'Place-keeping(PK)' and its six dimensions are employed to determine the characteristics of MFP's PM structure. Resultingly, there is a significant shift in the approach to PM which stresses the principle of long-term and self-sustaining structure led by a non-profit organisation and strong impacts of policy. In this context, PK highlights significant drivers for parks regeneration particularly in terms of policy implications: 1)providing policy support to encourage non-profit organisations in PM, 2)extending community involvement in decision-making processes, 3)promoting income generation by community groups, 4)shifting public awareness of shared responsibility for PM, 5)completing regular park maintenance assessment by community groups, and 6)delivering low-maintenance approaches to PM. To support these implications, PM structure for successful parks regeneration does meet a holistic and multi-dimensional approach of place-keeping underlined by understanding policy contexts and rethinking current status quo of PM. Addressing these implications will shed light on urban PM in an era of austerity and ultimately contribute to improving people's well-being.
In light of the fact that the effect of intellectual property rights like patent on enterprise competitiveness is growing, rational valuation of patent rights, which are own by enterprises, is required because accurate patent valuation can bring about the activation of the technology exchange market and enhancing the values of enterprises as well as the security of funds through technology security. However, in reality, interest in the value of patent rights is not great due to many variables, affecting patent rights, and diverse attributes, and non-generalized methods of valuation. Therefore, studies on patent valuation for patent management of Small and Medium Enterprises is required. This thesis examined patent valuation for the patent management of Small and Medium Enterprises based on literature studies, and attempted to find factors, affecting patent valuation by finding patent valuation factors through experts, organizing, and analyzing these factors. 10 essential factors, which are demonstrated in this research, are the commercialization possibilities of technology, market competitiveness, the possibility of technology commercialization, market size, the originality of acquired technology, the stability of the right(the possibility of invalidating), the level of technology, technology competitiveness, the ripple effect of technology, and the characteristics of technology(original technology/application technology).

Corporate Sustainability Management (CSM) is management approach and strategies that have grown in importance in recent years. and it is becoming increasingly important to organizations in every industry including the construction industry as well. It is important to establish and continuously manage and improve the strategies at the industrial and enterprise level and also to understand their trend. The most practical way to understand the overall sustainability management strategies and trend of construction companies is to analyze the sustainability management report of representative construction companies and to derive keywords for sustainability management, and then analyzed them using big data. The objective of the study is to analyze the trend of CSM strategies of Korean contractors in terms of key characteristics and implications by big data analysis employing keywords identified in the CSM reports of five major contractors in the Korean construction industry. Understanding the sustainable management strategy trend of construction companies has important significance in terms of being able to find out the issues that the construction industry and construction companies should focus on in order to pro-actively prepare for the future.
The Chinese dual structure of employment('Shuangguizhi') has been retained through the Economic Reforms, and has been supported and reproduced by the system of division between rural and urban household registration. In the 2000s, efforts of the government to abolish the division appeared to be effective with the introduction of the 'Labor Contract Act'. However, the eclecticism of the Act and the outbreak of the global financial crisis in 2008 gave new momentum to the revival of the Chinese dual structure of employment by increasing the scale of labor dispatching. Labor dispatching in China has become a regular form of employment rather than an exceptional one. Labor dispatching reveals its Chinese characteristics against the particular background formed during the periods of state-owned-enterprise restructuring around 2000. The combined effects of the 'Labor Contract Act' and the global financial crisis brought about the effect of increase rather than control of labor dispatching, and gave a signal to enterprises to use various forms of labor dispatching including 'reverse directional labor dispatching' to lessen burdens and costs caused by the Act and the crisis. As labor dispatching strengthens or displaces the existing dual structure of employment, social groups which need more social protection tend to be much more excluded from the protection of the government and the society.
While there is a rapid transition to smart work due to COVID-19, not many studies have measured the changes in organizational culture after firm-wide institutionalization of smart work. Through a questionnaire and a series of stakeholder interviews, this study examined how and to what extent employees' perception of organizational culture changed after the introduction of smart work in a large leisure service company H in South Korea. The working culture of the organization is measured as the changes in the organizational members' perception on seven dimensions: strategic innovativeness, organizational flexibility, fair human resource management, rational decision making processes, organizational vitality, trustful collaboration, proactive leadership. The results demonstrated that, after the introduction of smart work, the organizational members' perception on strategic innovativeness, organizational flexibility, organizational vitality, trustful collaboration have declined significantly while the changes in fair human resource management, rational decision making processes, and proactive leadership are insignificant. Though found to be insignificant, follow up interviews revealed that participants think that the role of management leadership is very critical for the smart work systems to be institutionalized successfully. While the smart work may have different effects depending upon industry or organizational characteristics, this study present a case for changes in organizational culture after institutionalizing smart work. Implications are discussed with further research issues at the end.
Organization and management scholars have researched social enterprises as hybrid organizations. However, research on the organizational uniqueness of social enterprises as hybrids is limited, especially comparing their organizational characteristics with other traditional types of organizations. Thus, this study attempted to compare social enterprises with traditional for-profit and not-for-profit organizations in the aspect of their organizational hybridity by using the data of the Social Value Survey. The results showed that the orientation of social enterprises in pursuing dual values is weaker than the other two types of organizations. Meanwhile, the results revealed that the extent to which an organization operates for realizing dual values is strongest in social enterprises among the three types of organizations. These findings add to the understanding of social enterprises' organizational hybridity in organization and management studies.
Recently, in order to store and manage big data, research and development of a high-performance storage system capable of stably accessing large data have been actively conducted. In particular, storage systems in data centers and enterprise environments use large amounts of SSD (solid state disk) to manage large amounts of data. In general, SSD uses FTL(flash transfer layer) to hide the characteristics of NAND flash memory, which is a medium, and to efficiently manage data. However, FTL's algorithm has a limitation in using DRAM more to manage the location information of NAND where data is stored as the capacity of SSD increases. Therefore, this paper introduces FTL policies that apply virtual memory to reduce DRAM resources used in FTL. The virtual memory-based FTL policy proposed in this paper manages the map data by using LRU (least recently used) policy to load the mapping information of the recently used data into the DRAM space and store the previously used information in NAND. Finally, through experiments, performance and resource usage consumed during data write processing of virtual memory-based FTL and general FTL are measured and analyzed.
This research is based on a rural village reconstruction business that is a priority under the national support act for rural village vitalization. Allowing for an analysis of the regional and annual classification of business contents as part of the master district implementation plan, this research presents amenity resource applications for the purpose of understanding the business contents and resource status reports. To analyze the utilization of amenity resources in the rural villages' overall development business, a content analysis of the business characteristics and resources of 299 districts was conducted for a seven-year period (2005-2011). Information that included district names, enterprise types, and specifications of a particular business, were coded in Excel, through exhaustive research of the 299 districts. Using this process, a more detailed categorization of seven years of business data, periodic, and regional business contents were defined. As a result of this research, it is apparent that the overall district's facility resources are optimized for the most, and that the environmental management of resources, including animal and plant resources, as well as water resources, is continuously decreasing, as was shown in the annual amenity resource usage transition. The annual amenity resource usage transition data denotes the highest rates in Jun-Ra-Buk-Do and Kyung-Sang-Buk-Do. In summary, this analysis verified the urgent need for diverse amenity resource utilization, research on practical alternatives, and the resource optimization of environmental controls for sustainable development in rural areas.

New variable guidance technology, which combines artificial intelligence and digital twin, can make it possible to prevent casualties by processing large amounts of data needed to derive appropriate countermeasures in real time beyond identifying what safety accidents occurred in unexpected crisis situations. When a simple control method that divides and monitors several CCTVs is digitally converted and combined with artificial intelligence and 3D digital twin control technology, intelligence augmentation (IA) effect can be achieved that strengthens the safety decision-making ability required in real time. With the enforcement of the Serious Disaster Enterprise Punishment Act, the importance of distributing a smart location guidance system that urgently solves the decision-making delay that occurs in safety accidents at various industrial sites and strengthens the real-time decision-making ability of field workers and managers is highlighted. The smart location guidance system that combines artificial intelligence and digital twin consists of AIoT HW equipment, wireless communication NW equipment, and intelligent SW platform. The intelligent SW platform consists of Builder that supports digital twin modeling, Watch that meets real-time control based on synchronization between real objects and digital twin models, and Simulator that supports the development and verification of various safety management scenarios using intelligent agents. The smart location guidance system provides on-site monitoring using IoT equipment, CCTV-linked intelligent image analysis, intelligent operating procedures that support workflow modeling to immediately reflect the needs of the site, situational location guidance, and digital twin virtual fencing access control technology. This paper examines the limitations of traditional fixed passive guidance methods, analyzes global technology development trends to overcome them, identifies the digital transformation properties required to switch to intelligent variable smart location guidance methods, explains the characteristics and components of AI-based public facility smart fire safety integrated system (ISFS).
