Purpose : The purpose of this study was to examine the enneagram personality types, nursing professional attitudes and job satisfaction of the nurses. Method: The subjects for this study were 93 nurses who did the enneagram workshop. Demographic characteristics, enneagram personality types, nursing professional attitudes and job satisfaction were measured. The data were analyzed through the SPSS 10.0 window program by were of frequency, percentage, t-test, ANOVA. Result : The highest of nurses' enneagram personality types was type 6 and type 5 and 8 were not existed. The triad of enneagram was consist of head type 40.9%, heart type 39.8%, gut type 19.3% orderly. Nursing professional attitudes and job satisfaction of nurses were positive. Nursing professional attitudes in type 2 were the highest but in type 9 were the lowest. also job satisfaction in type 1 were the highest but in type 2 were the lowest. But statistically nursing professional attitudes and job satisfaction no significant difference according to types of nurses' enneagram. Conclusion : According to the above findings, enneagram will utilize not only instrument for investigation of nurses' personality types but also human resource management program for understanding of nurses. And suggest that the further research is need to identify more variables related to the types of nurses' enneagram for enneagram' utility in nursing organization.
The purpose of this study was to analyze self-expression and facilitative communication in university students according the their enneagram personality type. The subjects included 241 university students selected from universities in Seoul and Cheonan. The research tools of this study were the enneagram personality type scale, the assertiveness rating scale(self-expression) and facilitative communication rating scale. The statistics used from this data were one-way ANOVA(Post-hoc Duncan). The results were as follows; first, the self-expression was meaningfully different in content, paralinguistic and nonverbal assertive behavior characteristics by enneagram personality type university students. Second, immediacy, the sub factor of the facilitative communication rating scale varied depending upon the enneagram personality type(enneatype) of university students, Several suggestions were made concerning a study on self-expression and facilitative communication according to the enneagram personality type of university students.
The purpose of this study was to examine the Enneagram personality types of nursing students. Data were collected through self-reported questionnaires from 225 nursing students living in D city from 14, November to 17, November in 2005. The data collected were analyzed using frequency, percent with SPSS. The findings of this study were as follows : In the nine Enneagram personality types, type 9 was highly measured and the next order was type 1, 4, 7, 2, 8, 6, 5, 3. In the triadic center of Enneagram personality types, gut type was highly measured. The next order was heart type and head type. In the wing, 9W1 was highly measured and the next order was 1W9 and 'both wing is equal'. In the disruption and integration, the disruption rather than integration was highly measured. In the disruption and integration according to personality types, the integration rather than disruption was highly measured in type 2, 6, 1. In the disruption and integration according to triadic center, the disruption was highly measured in gut type and the integration was highly measured in heart type and head type. The most development level was level 5. The next order was level 6, 4, 7, 3. There was no one present in level 1, 2, 8, 9. The results of this study suggest that there is need of individual guide considering Enneagram personality types in nursing students. We need to develop various group counseling program related to Enneagram personality types.
This study aims to develop a diagnostic tool that can measure nine personality types of the enneagram types based on the theoretical content of enneagram to measure personality as a human factor among various factors that affect to performance for maximizing organization and individual's performance. We have develeped measure items to figure out 9 enneagram types. Since first of September of to 30th August 2011, we had a preliminary survey with total 842 students in zed the data. Based on the results of the analysis of preliminary invmiddle and high school and analyestigation, we made a Enneagram Personality Type Inventory for Young People with a total of 144 selected questions. 4,008 middle and high students across the country were surveyed and had statistical analysis with the data. The data shows Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ was from .77 to .86 for the 9 types. This diagnostic tool developed with this study will help students can understand, develop and grow themselves, also this can be useful in coaching and counseling areas like Personality, career, academic, career and leadership development.
The purpose of this study was to determine Enneagram personality type and the degree of clinical practice stress by personality type among nursing students, as well as to set a direction for student counseling and develop a management program. For this purpose, the Enneagram personality type inventory, developed by the Korea Enneagram Spirituality Institute, and a clinical practice stress scale were applied to juniors and seniors majoring in nursing in a district who were in clinical practice. The results were analyzed using an SPSS 25.0 program. Type 2 among the nine Enneagram personality types accounted for 47.66% while in the strength- centered area, the emotional area accounted for 64.84%. As for the degree of clinical practice stress by Enneagram personality type, Type 6 was most vulnerable to the training environment, Type 4 to an undesirable role model and conflicts with patients, and Type 5 to the burden of training tasks and conflicts in interpersonal relationships among the sub-areas of stress. As for the degree of clinical practice stress by the strength-centered area of Enneagram, the thinking type was most vulnerable to the training environment, an undesirable role model, the burden of training tasks, and interpersonal relationships, whereas the emotional type to conflicts with patients. To put these results together, nursing students varied in Enneagram personality type and differed in clinical practice stress by the strength-centered area, as well as by personality type. It is therefore necessary to provide nursing students with counseling and guidance through an analysis of their personality type.

Purpose: This study was to identify the emotional intelligence, defense mechanism and interpersonal caring behavior by enneagram personality types in nursing students. Methods: A descriptive survey design was used and data were collected using questionnaires from a sample of 263 nursing students. The data were analyzed using by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient analysis with SPSS 20.0. Results: In the enneagram personality types, the nursing students was highly measured the type 9(Peacemaker). Emotional intelligence was significantly associated with financial status of parents, motivation of admission and satisfaction of nursing by enneagram characters. Hoping and sharing of interpersonal caring behaviors were significantly differentiated with the power type of enneagram personality. And active listening, comforting, participating of interpersonal caring behaviors were the most popular among the 9 types of personality. There was a positive correlation between emotional intelligence and interpersonal caring behavior. Conclusion: This study suggest that nursing students should be educated the interpersonal caring behavior program considering emotional intelligence and enneagram personality types.

The purpose of this study is to see if reading guidances using the happy point books are effective. In this study, reading guidances were carried out to the 6th grade students of J Elementary School who have Enneagram Personality type 2. Books were selected as a source of reading guidance. These are self-growth theme books preferred by Enneagram Personality Type 4 students, a happy point of Enneagram Personality Type 2 students and books containing psychological functions of Enneagram Personality Type 4 students. A reading guidance was conducted in 14 sessions over a period of 5 weeks. Pre and post test using a measurement tool was implemented to measure the effectiveness of reading guidance in terms of emotional intelligence and self-esteem. And, written observation record cards and learning logs of the attendants were also made. As a result, the emotional intelligence and self-esteem of attendants appeared to be improved, and they are satisfied with reading guidance of applying to happy point books.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the Enneagram personality types, ego-identity, self-efficacy and interpersonal relations among adolescents in high school. Methods: The participants were 322 high school students. Data were collected through self-report questionnaires, which were constructed to include demographic-environmental factors, Enneagram personality types, ego-identity, self-efficacy and interpersonal relations. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and pearson correlation coefficients. Results: In the nine Enneagram personality types, type 9 was highly measured. In the triadic center of Enneagram personality types, gut type was highly measured. In the wing, 9W1 was highly measured and the disruption rather than integration was highly measured. The most development level was level 5. The score of ego-identity was 3.25, the score of self-efficacy was 3.32 and the score of interpersonal ralations was 3.50. The correlation of ego-identity, self-efficacy and interpersonal relations showed significantly positive correlation with all. Conclusion: There were correlating relationships among ego-identity, self-efficacy, interpersonal relations in high school students. Based on the outcomes of this study, it is necessary to study on the relationship between Enneagram personality types and related variables. Also, We need to develop program that improve ego-identity, self-efficacy and interpersonal relations according to Enneagram personality types.

The purpose of this study was to examine Enneagram personality types and job satisfaction of Korean medicine clinic staff, thereby providing basic materials for job training programs and human resource management programs for Korean medicine clinic staff with a lot of face-to-face relationship. The researcher visited 50 Korean medicine clinics randomly selected from 255 clinics in Changwon and explained the purpose of this study and the content of questionnaire. Questionnaires on Enneagram personality types and job satisfaction were distributed to and collected from those who consented to participate. Data analysis was done using SPSS WIN IBM 20.0 program. The results are as follows. General characteristics of the subjects were as follows. Female respondents comprised 97.6% of the total. The rate of those whose age was between 20 and 25, between 26 and 30, between 31 and 35, between 36 and 40, between 41 and 45, and 46 years old or older was 22.6%, 21.4%, 13.1%, 21.4%, 17.9%, and 3.6%, respectively. The rate of those who were unmarried was 46.4%. As for educational levels, those who graduated from high school or received lower level education, those who graduated from two-year college, and those who graduated from university accounted for 46.4%, 39.3%, and 14.3%, respectively. Regarding the distribution of the center of energy, 64.3% was in the instinctive center, 20.3% in the thinking center, and 15.5% in the emotional center. As for the personality type of Enneagram, 25.0% belonged to type 8, 22.6% to type 9, 15.5% to type 1, 9.5% to type 5, 8.3% to types 4 and 6, 6% to type 2, and 2.4% to types 3 and 7. Job satisfaction according to the center of energy and personality types was not statistically significantly different. Interpersonal relationship, autonomy, and overall job satisfaction according to the developmental stage of Enneagram were significantly different.
Objectives Identification of individuals predisposed to obesity is an important issue for prevention and control of the obesity. It was reported that a high prevalence of obesity appeared in Taeumin among Sasang constitutions, but Enneagram personality-types has not been used to classify the patterns of obesity. These two classification methods were employed in combination in the current study, and it was analyzed whether the morbidity pattern of obesity can be characterized in further detail. Methods The subjects were 125 University students(62 males and 63 females) who answered both questionnaires for Sasang constitutions and Enneagram personality types. The obesity of students was classified by the obesity index and BMI. Results Only Taeumin group of Sasang constitutions was overweight, and the male of the group was overweight or obese. Analysis of the obesity index and BMI according to the Enneagram personality types showed significant differences(p<.05) between the types in the female group. These values were highest at the type 3 and lowest at the type 4. The physical indices according to both the centers of Enneagram and Sasang constitutions showed that only Taeumin female group had significant differences(p<.05) in the obesity index and BMI. Taeumin male group was overweight or obese in all centers of Enneagram and Taeumin female group was overweight or obese only in heart-center. Conclusions Diagnosis of the present data suggest that the classification of obesity patterns using Enneagram personality types in addition to Sasang constitutions is very useful to prevent and control the obesity.
