  • The method of distributing some questionnaires to the total 4 schools in the area of Gwang-ju city and then collect them later has been used in this study. By using the coefficient of Cronbach's alpha for the collected data, the trust rate of the method of questionnaires have been verified. In conclusion it's been analized that there are disparities in 'computer education course, professor lesson, possibility of computer use, teaching obstacles, self development of teachers, choice and organization of the computer education contents' according to the general situation of the teachers who charge computer education sand there are also disparities in 'goal of computer education, computer curriculum related learning activity, computer curriculum related learning satisfaction, practical use of computer facility, interested contents of students, other lessons besides regular education course' according to the general situation of the students who receive computer education in commercial high school.

A Study on Improvement of Dental Technicians practical examination system (치과기공사 국가시험 실기시험 제도 개선에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the improvement measure of dental technicians practical examination system. Methods: The subjects in this study were 290 dental technicians who were self-written questionnaire. The results were analyzed by SPSS 16.0. The collected data was analyzed by frequency and chi-square test. Results: Dental technician practical exam feasibility of survey were largely negative views. Articulators work required in practical exam as a tool used (28.7%), electric wax carver (19.5%), heating clear (17.8%), handpiece (16.2%) had a response. Dental Technician positions in accordance with practical exam in comparison to satisfaction, the professor is satisfied, but the clinical dental technicians were generally dissatisfied (p<0.05). Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, Current is necessary to analyze the practical test. It also should be compared with foreign institutions. Long-term and short-term improvement examination system that can be applied to the improvement of the dental technician to draw practical test it is necessary to improve the system.

Students' Actual Use and Satisfaction of Meteorological Information and Demands on Health Forecasting at a University (일 대학 학생들의 기상정보 이용실태와 만족도 및 건강정보 요구도)

  • Purpose: Climate change affects human health and calls for a health forecasting service. The purpose of this study was to explore the students' actual use and their satisfaction with meteorological information and the demands on health forecasting at a university in South Kyungsang Province. Method: This study used a descriptive design through structured self-report questionnaires including frequency, contents, purpose, perception, satisfaction of meterological information and need and demand of health forecasting. Data were collected from June 1 to 5, 2009 and analyzed using the SPSS 17.0 program. Descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, $\chi^2$ test and Person's correlation coefficient were used to analyze the data. Result: The majority of the students watched the daily weather information to decide about daily work, outdoor activity or habitually. The mean score of need for health forecasting was $3.44{\pm}.81$, and the demand for health forecasting was $2.93{\pm}1.05$. Significant differences were found in the need for health forecasting according to sex, major, and environmental disease. In addition, the higher the satisfaction of health forecasting, the higher the demand for it. Conclusion: I suggest improving the meteorological information system technically and developing a health forecasting service resulting in a healthier and more comfortable life.

Smart Attendance Checking System based on BLE using a Beacon (BLE 기반의 비콘을 이용한 스마트 출석 확인 시스템)

  • In an environment of IoT services, sensors to track things and human activities are included as an essential element and smart phone is actively used as a means of collecting and processing information from sensors. Especially, wireless communication and NFC provided by the smart phone are key technologies for exchanging information between participants of IoT service. In this paper, we propose and implement the smart attendance checking system based on BLE using a beacon for improving the quality of a university lecture by processing attendance information automatically. Proposed system uses the beacon sensor for being aware of attendance information and the smart phone for receiving and processing this information. The implemented system has the benefit to improve the lecture quality because a professor can minimize attendance checking time and spend a lot of time on the lecture.

Effects of Reciprocal Peer Tutoring on Academic Achievement and Satisfaction: Focused on Application Practices in Computer Operating System Lab Education (상호 동료 교수법이 학업성취도와 만족도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 컴퓨터 운영체제 실습 수업 적용 방안을 중심으로)

  • In order to increase students' academic achievement effectively and at the same time to draw active participations from students during the computer lab, we applied the reciprocal peer tutoring education model. We focused on a short-term application of the reciprocal peer tutoring to computer operating system lab education with as little preparation as possible. 61 college students majoring in computer engineering participated in this research; half of them studied in the reciprocal peer tutoring setting, and rest of them did in the normal lab setting. Results show that students who participated in the reciprocal peering tutoring lab have higher academic achievement and better satisfaction on overall education and the class's professor. We hope that our method will be easily used in other universities' computer lab education.

  • Capstone design, is a heartfelt cooperation curriculum because the ultimate goal is to train people who already have the ability to complete the tasks of the job without retraining them in the field immediately after being hired. However, there is a need for the design study in the fashion industry where a variety of operating models could be tried; more specifically case studies than engineering. This study was designed to apply to the types of voluntary projects and industrial challenges linked to the different types of virtuous circle window systems over twice in two years. Result capitalization applied to different types of derived forms associated with start-up technology transfer form. In addition, start-up will be done in conjunction with student-centered forms of the participation of Cooperation Coordinator. This was weak in the form of technology transfer interventions which were made as a result of the overall involvement of the industry. In order to elicit the active participation of the industry it is expected that this system will have an ideal company to reflux. The Use of Reliability-based Approach to Design Anchored Sheet Pile Walls (신뢰성에 근거한 앵커 널말뚝의 설계방안 연구)

  • In this study, a reliability-based design (RBD) procedure for determining design values fur anchored sheet pile wall is proposed considering overturning about the anchor point as the major failure mode. In this design procedure, the depth of embedment of the sheet pile wall is logically chosen in accordance with degrees of uncertainties of design input parameters using approximate probabilistic computation methods. These methods have been successfully used in the geotechnical engineering requiring neither understandings of complex probabilistic theories nor efforts to prepare more data. It was investigated that the design results by the proposed method were compatible with those by commonly used deterministic design methods. Additionally, in an effort to investigate the effects of changes in the degree of uncertainties of major design variables on the design results of the sheet pile wall, a sensitivity analysis was peformed.

Prediction of Hydraulic Conductivity from Gran-size Distribution Parameters (입도분포를 이용한 투수계수의 예측)

  • Hydraulic conductivity k is one of the most important engineering properties of soil. However, both field and laboratory procedures fur the determination of k are often tedious and expensive. This paper presents new models to predict k using statistical parameters from grain size distribution. A number of permeability tests far 36 types of sands mixed based on statistics were conducted to develop the regression-based models. Parameters used to estimate k are both the geometric mean and geometric standard deviation of the soil samples, or the particle-size distribution curve parameters such as D_{10},D_{50},D_{60}. Hydraulic conductivity predicted by this model is in good agreement with the laboratory measurements fir the soil samples obtained at 20 locations within the Korean Peninsula. The performances of the proposed models were also compared with those of existing models including Hazen's.

  • In this study, depending on the sense of increasing interest in the world-SW education, in the country high and high school was supposed to be implemented from junior high school from 2018 fiscal SW education as a compulsory subject.
