$Zn_4$$ GeSe_6$$Co^{2+}$를 첨가한 $Zn_4$$ GeSe_6$:$Co^{2+}$단결정의 광학적 특성 (Optical properties of undoped and $Co^{2+}$-doped $Zn_4$$ GeSe_6$ single crystals)

  • Undoped and Co$^{2+}$-doped Zn$_{4}$GeSe$_{6}$ single crystals were grown by the Chemical Transport Reaction method using iodine as a transporting agent. The crystal structure of these compounds determined by X-ray diffraction analysis was monoclinic structure. The direct energy gaps of these compounds were measured and the temperature dependence of the optical energy gap were closely investigated over the temperature range 10-290K. The temperature dependence of the optical energy gap is well presented by the Varshni equation. Also the optical absorption peaks of Zn$_{4}$GeSe$_{6}$ :Co$^{2+}$ single crystal observed, centered at 5437, 6079, 7142, 12950, 13462, 14786 and 15735 $cm^{-1}$ /, can be explained in terms of the electronic transitions of Co$^{2+}$ ions located at Td symmetry of the host materials. According to the crystal-field theory, the crystal-field, Racah and spin-orbit coupling parameters obtained from the absorption bands are given by Dq = 361$cm^{-1}$ /, B = 655$cm^{-1}$ / and .lambda. = 284$cm^{-1}$ / respectively.ively.

스파크 점화 시스템의 방전 거동 및 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Behaviour and Characteristics of Spark Discharge in Spark Ignition System)

  • Time-resolved current and voltage measurements for an inductive automotive spark system were made. Also presented are measurements of the total energy delivered to the spark gap. The measurements were made in air for a range of pressures from 1-18atm, at ambient temperatures. The measured voltage and current characteristics were found to be a function of many ignition parameters; some of these include: spark gap distance, internal resistance of the spark plug and high tension wire, and pressure. The voltages presented were measured either at the top of the spark plug or at the spark gap. The measurements were made at different time resolutions to more accurately resolve the voltage and current behavior throughout the discharge process. This was necessary because the breakdown event occurs on a time scale much shorter than the arc and glow phases. The breakdown, are, and glow voltages were found to be functions of spark plug resistance, gas density, and spark plug gap as expected from the literature. Spark duration was found to decrease as either pressure or gap was increased. The transition from the arc to glow phase is usually distinguished by a sudden rise in the voltage across the gap. At pressures above about 7atm this transition was not observed suggesting that a glow phase was not present. Energy delivered to the gap increased with increasing pressure. The effective resistance of the spark gap during discharge was about twice as large for the glow phase as the arc phase.

테레프탈산의 분진 폭발특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Explosion Characteristics of Terephthalic Acid)

  • This study was executed by dust explosion experiment of terephthalic acid which was widely used for various purposes of food packing material and film etc. and the demand was rapidly increasing. The particle size and concentration of dust affected the minimum ignition energy largely and the lean concentration and the minimum ignition energy in the range of this study were obtained 50$g/m^3$ and 19mJ respectively. Minimum ignition energy was shown at the 4 and 5mm gap distance of discharge electrode, and when the gap distance was below 2mm the explosion could not generated although the sufficient energy was given. It was also found that the ignition energy decreased linearly with the decreasing of dust mean particle size.

Temperature Driven Phase Transition of Organic-Inorganic Halide Perovskite Single Crystals

  • Organic-inorganic halide perovskite single crystals undergo phase transition of being cubic, tetragonal, or orthorhombic depending on the temperature. We investigated the $CH_3NH_3PbBr_{3-x}I_x$ single crystals grown by the inverse temperature crystallization method with temperature-dependent UV-Vis absorption and photoluminescence. From the temperature-dependent absorption measurement, the optical band gap is extracted by derivation of absorption spectrum fitting and Tauc plot. In our results, $CH_3NH_3PbBr_{3-x}I_x$ single crystals show that an abrupt change in optical band gap, PL peak position and intensity appears around 120 K - 170 K regions, indicating the phase transition temperature.

  • 사방 정계 다 결정 구조를 갖는 황색 PbO 박막을 Flash 증착법으로 PbO 분말을 증착한 후 증착된 박막을 공기 중에서 열처리 하여 만들었다. 이 박막의 energy gap은 2.63eV이며 전기 전도형은 p type이고 결정입자의 크기는 670nm였다.

  • In terms of induction motor analysis, magnetic energy conversion takes place into mechanical energy in air gap.   • 중수로 내부구조물 중 칼란드리아관(CT)와 액체주입노즐관(LIN)은 서로 수평으로 90도 교차되게 배열되어 있으며 원자로 내의 열, 방사선, 하중에 의해 creep 현상이 발생되어 처짐이 일어난다. 칼란드리아관은 액체주입노즐관과 동일 재료이나 운전 온도와 방사선 조사량으로 인해 액체주입노즐관에 비해 상당히 열악한 조건에 노출되어 있으므로 처짐이 심각할 것으로 예상된다. 만약 두 관의 접촉이 발생되면 원전 안전성에 영향을 미칠 것이므로 인접관에 대한 접촉여부 점검은 중수로 안전현안 중 하나이다. 이러한 접촉여부를 확인하기 위하여 핵연료채널 내부로 탐촉자를 삽입하여 인접관과의 교차점에서 간격을 직접측정하기 위한 방법으로 원거리장 와전류검사 (RFECT) 기술을 적용하였다. 핵연료채널 인접관인 액체주입노즐관 신호 취득시 발생 가능한 잡음 신호(두께변화, Lift-off, 수축)에 대해 체적적분법에 의한 모델링으로 조사하였고, 신호와 잡음과의 분리 가능한 조건을 확인하였다. 원거리장 와전류검사 적정 조건은 민감도와 투과력 그리고 잡음신호 등을 동시에 고려하여 주파수 1kHz와 코일간격 200m로서 결정하였다. 원거리장 와전류검사 실험 결과 칼란드리아관과 액체주입노즐관 사이의 간격 변화에 대한 신호 특성을 전압평면을 이용하여 상관관계를 도출하였다.

해저 표준관입시험 장비의 밀폐형 항타부 CFD 해석 (CFD Analysis of Underwater Standard Penetration Test Equipment)

  • In our study, a closed-type penetration unit for standard penetration test (SPT) equipment was developed in order to operate in an underwater environment. This type causes energy dissipation, mainly due to the small gap between an airtight case and moving hammer. The dissipation was estimated through a CFD analysis. The computed dissipated energy was less than 1.2% compared to the potential energy of the hammer with the given gap. Subsequently, the impact energy of the underwater SPT equipment was within 1.2% of that for the SPT equipment on land.
