북한 에너지산업과 천연가스분야 투자에 따른 경제적 파급효과 (The Economic Effect of Industrial Investment on North Korea Energy and Natural Gas)

  • 최근 북한은 경제난으로 인해 에너지 부문의 투자여력이 감소되었고 에너지 부문의 투자 감소는 다시 에너지 생산 감소라는 악순환이 반복되고 있다. 이런 상황을 살펴볼 때 북한의 경제상황이 나아지게 된다면 우선적으로 투자될 부문은 에너지부문이라 판단된다. 본 논문에서는 개성공단 내 천연가스 복합화력발전소 건설에 3,900억 원이 투자 되었다고 가정하고 북한경제와 남한경제에 미치는 경제적 파급효과를 계산하였다. 북한의 경제적 파급효과를 분석하기 위하여 2014년도 산업연관표(북한)를 작성하였고, 투입-산출모형을 이용하였다. 천연가스산업 투자의 파급효과는 10.12억 달러이다. 또한, 남한의 경제에 미치는 파급 효과를 분석하기 위해 2013년 산업연관표(남한)와 산업연관분석의 수요유도형 모형을 이용하였다. 천연가스산업 투자의 생산유발효과, 부가가치유발효과, 취업유발효과는 각각 2.02073, 0.62697, 8.99409으로 계산되었다.

  • The paper examines dynamic relationship among 'Limit to Growth' factors in Korea using causal loop diagram. It also aims to explore policy implications for Korea in overcoming current difficulties and future crisis we may face. For this purpose, five factors -economy, population, resource, environment, food- used in the were adopted as an analytical framework. Findings show that Korea is fragile to external shock such as world economic crisis, food price surge, and resource price -including energy price- hike. High dependency of energy, food and resource on foreign market was found to be a major source of limit to growth in Korea. Furthermore, environmental problems like global warming could be a major external shock that could hit Korea harder than the rest of the world. Policy implications and measures for these problems were discussed too.

연료전지 하이브리드 자동차의 연료 경제성 및 Life cycle 비용 분석 (Fuel economy and Life Cycle Cost Analysis of Fuel Cell Hybrid Vehicle)

  • 현재 자동차의 문제점을 해결할 수 있는 가장 착실한 엔진은 수소를 이용한 연료 전지라고 판단된다. 연료전지는 화학적 에너지를 전기적 에너지로 직접 변환하는 장치이다. 순수한 연료전지 차량과 연료전지 하이브리드 차량을 비교 분석하였다. 연료전지 하이브리드 차량에서 고려하여야할 점은 효율, 연료경제성, 출력 특성 등이 있다. FUDS 싸이클 시뮬레이션 비교를 하면 하이브리드화가 순수 연료전지 차량 보다 효율이 높다. 이는 회생 제동 에너지를 이용할 수 있으며 battery를 이용하여 연료전지를 효율적인 영역에서 작동하게 할 수 있기 때문이다. Life cycle 비용은 연료전지의 크기, 연료전지의 가격, 수소의 가격 등에 지배적인 영향을 받는다. 연료전지의 가격이 고가이면 하이브리드화가 유리하나, 연료전지의 가격이 400$/kW 이하가 되면 순수한 연료전지 자동차가 비용면에서 유리 하다.

한국원자력연구소 원자로계통설계 기술자립의 국가경제 파급효과 분석 (Spillover Effects of KAERI's Technology Self-reliance in NSSS Design on the National Economy)

  • The economic spillover effect from technology self-reliance of NSSS(nuclear steam supply system) by Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute was evaluated. Both production spillover effect and value added spillover effect were estimated by using Input-Output table. The production spillover effect from technology self-reliance of NSSS was estimated as 135 trillion Won during 1986-2015, while the value added spillover effect was 69 trillion Won during the same period. Besides, it was found that the technology self-reliance made great contribution to unquantifiable economic benefits such as enhancement of overall nuclear technology level, improvement of the role in international nuclear society, and improved potential to nuclear technology export.

Experimental study on the performance of a turbocompound diesel engine with variable geometry turbocharger

  • Turbocompounding is a key technology to satisfy the future requirements of diesel engine's fuel economy and emission reduction. A turbocompound diesel engine was developed based on a conventional 11-Liter heavy-duty diesel engine. The turbocompound system includes a power turbine, which is installed downstream of a Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VGT) turbine. The impacts of the VGT rack position on the turbocompound engine performance were studied. An optimal VGT control strategy was determined. Experimental results show that the turbocompound engine using the optimal VGT control strategy achieves better performance than the original engine under all full load operation conditions. The averaged and maximum reductions of the brake specific fuel consumption (BSFC) are 3% and 8% respectively.

전주·완주 수소시범도시 주민수용성 분석 (Analysing the Acceptability of Jeonju-Wanju Hydrogen Demonstration City)

  • It is very important to secure hydrogen acceptability to achieve the hydrogen economy. This study empirically analyzed the factors affecting acceptance by using the results of a questionnaire administered to residents of Jeonju-Wanju Hydrogen Demonstration City. The results indicated that the safety of hydrogen infrastructure and local industry and economic growth positively affected acceptance. In particular, local industry and economic growth were more effective in improving resident acceptance. As policy factors, support for government policies and disclosure of information on projects were also positive factors. As perceptual factors, the higher interest in hydrogen and less safety concerns positively affected acceptability. Therefore, as far as hydrogen safety is concerned, it seems necessary to support local industry development to improve acceptability, disclose information related to industrial development, and introduce targeted experience programs.

교류발전기 충전 제어에 따른 차량연비 개선 효과 (Effect of Alternator Control on Vehicle Fuel Economy)

  • For many years there has been a trend to increased electrical energy consumption in cars caused by the replacement of mechanical parts by electronic or mechanical devices as well as the introduction of new electronic features. Whereas the number of electrical consumers continues to increase, the battery is still the only passive power source available. Because of this reason, needs for driving power of the engine accessories such as alternator system have increased. Usually, conventional alternator system is directly driven by the crankshaft of engine with belt. Since this increase bring about additional fuel economy. To improve this system automobile makers develops new controled alternator system. This paper focuses on fuel economy improvement according to control of alternator. In this paper, researches are performed on effect of type of Alternator system on fuel economy by experiment. And it is also calculated the effect on vehicle fuel economy using computer simulation with AVL cruise software. As a result, 0.64% of vehicle fuel economy improvement can be achieved in a vehicle with controled Alternator system compared to a vehicle with conventional Alternator system in NEDC mode.

  • This paper reviewed laws and policies of renewable energy in Japan and China. Japan has enacted laws and implemented policies of renewable energy since 1980 for their energy security and environmental problem, and nowadays renewable energy is one of solutions for UNFCCC and Kyoto Protocol. Japan plays a leading role in photovoltaic power generation. As second largest energy consumer, China generates a lot of pollution from their energy use. However Chinese government attempts to sustainable development among economy, society and environment, suggests to use renewable energy in the way to reduce pollution and improve living standards. Korea focused on renewable energy as one of motive power in Green Growth. Review for renewable energy policy of two countries gives Korean policy implication and helps "Green Growth", national theme of Korea.

도농공동체 운동의 추진방향 (Principles and Directions for Urban-Rural Living Community Movement)

  • Farm economy is getting worse because of the free trade trends in agriculture sector and unreasonable application of market economy principles to agricultural products. And The worldwide issues of environmental pollution as well as want of food, water and energy make human future be anxious. In addition, consumers raise questions in argument about safety of foods produced by traditional farming or imported. So I propose the urban-rural living community movement(URLCM) as an alternative plan for sustainable domestic agriculture. URLCM based on environmentally friendly agriculture and community consciousness will be able to solve many of present issues on agriculture and rural society through incessant interchanges between urban and rural community. This URLCM has to be basically founded on principles of symbiosis-coexistence and life circulation. So those that have to be driven forward arc organizing producers and consumer cooperatives, making environmentally friendly rural region and products, combining with consumer cooperatives, training the participants and so forth.
