In this Paper, it has a proposal of the RFID(RFID : Radio Frequency Identification) system for high-speed recognition between the tag attached a mobile object moving high-speed and the static reader. It used 13.56MHz frequency at ISM band, and designed a reader in order to recognize a mobile object moving high-speed. It will be expected that RFID system enables a smooth railway signal control applying in railway system through the cyclic loop antenna.

Over the past 40 years, flow cytometry has emerged as a leading, application-rich technology that supports high-resolution characterization of individual cells which function in complex cellular networks such as the immune system. This brief overview highlights advances in multiparameter flow cytometric technologies and reagent applications for characterization and functional analysis of cells modulating the immune network. These advances significantly support highthroughput and high-content analyses and enable an integrated understanding of the cellular and molecular interactions that underlie complex biological systems.

We propose an efficient internetworking model for fast handover between UMTS and WLAN networks. Mobility anchor (MA) is provided at the boundary between GGSN and PDG, under the 3GPP-proposed internetworking reference model. Such MA can enable authentication and session initialization before L2 handover of the mobile terminal, so that seamless and fast vertical handover could be possible.

We present the first simulations of cosmic reionization that include the first stars and their radiative feedback that limited their formation, in a volume large enough to capture the spatial variations that affected the process and its observability. We show hat these first stars made reionization begin much earlier than without, and was reatly extended, which boosts the intergalactic electron-scattering optical depth and the large-angle polarization fluctuations of the cosmic microwave background (CMB) significantly. Although within current WMAP uncertainties, this will enable Planck see he signature of the first stars at high redshift, currently undetectable by other probes.

The spectral content of ground displacement of the 10 largest last California earthquakes is studied. Specifically, the power spectral density function of the critical horizontal-component record of the closest-to-epicenter station is analyzed in each case. The results permit to state that horizontal ground displacement is a narrow-band process. This fact was previously noticed while trying to solve the large-base-displacement problem in isolated structures and it was fundamental in the solution of this issue; however, these preliminary results were limited in number to enable a statement like the foregoing one. Thus, the broader results presented herein were necessary.

Polyvalent nanoparticle-DNA conjugates exhibit a variety of unique features such as programmable assembly and disassembly, sharp melting transitons, intense optical properties, high stability, enhanced binding properties, and easy fabrication of the surface nature by chemical and physical modification. The unique properties of nanoparticle-DNA conjugates enable one to build up a number of versatile assay schemes for the detection of various targets. In addition, nanoparticle-RNA conjugates also demonstrate great promise of therapeutic applications in the context of RNA interference when combined with polymeric materials. In this presentation, representative examples of each aspect of nanoparticle-oligonucleotide conjugates will be discussed.

There have been growing recognition on the needs of coordination of diverse activities across cross-functional business areas necessarily involving group decision-making processes. Although many group decision-making support tools and methods have been introduced to enable the collaborative processes of group decision-making, they often lack features supporting the dynamic complexity issues. This study proposes system dynamics modeling approach based on simulation techniques to deal with the group decision-making tasks having properties of dynamic complexity.

This paper develops a general methodology for evaluating inspection (mainly, safety inspection) policies, standard and regulations in a complex system with lots of components. Based on practically available data, this methodology enable planners and regulators to estimate the costs and effectiveness of different inspection policies when applied under different system working conditions. As main tools, the concepts of detection probability and earliness of detection are developed in this paper.
