The purpose of this study was to evaluate the level of biomedical ethics awareness, empathy among college students. The participants were 469 university students in South Korea. The average score for biomedical ethics awareness was $2.89{\pm}.21$ ; The average the scores of empathy was $2.41{\pm}.35$. Biomedical ethics awareness showed a positive correlation with empathy(r=.203, p<.001). Emotional empathy showed a significant effect on biomedical ethics awareness. And the empathic concern of emotional empathy showed a significant effect on right to life fetus, artificial abortion, artificial insemination, prenatal diagnosis of fetus, right to life of newborn, euthanasia, brain death of biomedical ethics awareness. The results of this study suggest that biomedical ethics education to the emotional empathy should need for general university students.

The Quality of Early Childhood Teachers has recently become More Important as the Amount of Time Spent by Early Childhood Educational Institutions Increases. The Purpose of this Study was to Investigate the Effects of Professionalism Awareness and Occupational Stress on Teacher and Child Interactions in Early Childhood Teachers. The Questionnaires were Distributed to 150 teachers in 30 Early Childhood Education Centers and 134 completed Questionnaires were Collected and Analyzed Using SPSS 18.0 Program. The Results of this Study are as Follows. First, the Lack of Leadership and Administrative Support Adversely Affects Teacher's Professionalism Awareness. Behavior Interaction and Verbal Interaction among Teachers and Children are Influenced by Emotional Interaction. Second, analysis of the Influence of Professionalism Awareness and Occupational Stress on Emotional Interaction of Early Childhood Teachers revealed that Among the Sub-factors of Professional Awareness, the Variables of Work Ethics, Professional Knowledge and Technical Requirements Positively Influenced Affective, Emotional, Verbal, and Behavioral Interactions.

The purpose of this study is to identify how education and activities of urban forest healing programs affect emotional rest (healing recovery environment awareness, restoration of attention, and leisure life satisfaction). To this end, 38 people were divided into experimental groups (forest healing program education and practice), and control groups (non-program participation). As a result of the study, in the case of the experimental group, emotional rest factors such as healing recovery environment perception, attention recovery, and satisfaction with leisure activities after the program were statistically significantly improved, and in the case of the control group, there was no change in emotional rest after the program. In addition, there were differences between groups in both pre and post regarding the difference in emotional rest between the participant groups, and the difference in emotional rest afterwards was much larger than the pre-difference. In conclusion, people who receive regular education on forest healing and have done actual forest healing activities experience higher emotional rest than those who do not. This suggests that continuous motivation and regular practice can raise awareness of the healing recovery environment, promote attention recovery, and have a positive effect on leisure life through appropriate programs rather than simply taking a walk.

The purpose of this research is to find effect of parental care awareness, emotional intelligence, peer relations on the happiness of school age children. Data collection was conducted by a survey of school-aged children who received consent from their guardians and the final target was 180. For data analysis, the t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and stepwise regression analysis was performed via the SPSS / WIN Ver 18.0 program. As the result, according to general characteristics, school life and parental interest had statistically significant effect on happiness. Parental caring awareness had statistically significant difference according to gender, cohabitation family, school life, close friend, and interest of parent. Emotional intelligence had statistically significant difference according to gender, cohabiting family, school life, school grade. There were statistically significant differences on peer relations in the cases of three or more close friends. Happiness showed a positive relation with parental care awareness, peer relationship, and emotional intelligence. The factors affecting the happiness of school aged children were school life, parental interest, parental care awareness, and the peer relationship. The R-square of these variables was 16.7%. Therefore, it was confirmed that school life, parental interest, parental care and peer relationship should be considered as a strategy to improve the happiness of school aged children.

Recently youth problems such as school violence and bullying are becoming increasingly lower age. In order to overcome this situation highlights the importance of education and the emotions, which in analyzing the existing mobile app, only the most fun-oriented approach has been made and the information presented. It focuses on the emotion awareness and empathy abilities of learners diagnosis, training, application can be made at the level of educational mobile app prototype was developed. First, self-understanding, self-expression, others-understanding, and empathy of emotional competency derived from review of emotional awareness skills training programs. Second, by analyzing the existing emotion recognition app macro-principles and micro-strategy of mobile app's designs were derived. Third, accordi was conducted on prototype of storyboard and app the completed prototype was completed. The proposed app is a fun and learning by doing, also Depending on students' level of performance can be customized. The proposed mobile app is efficient and effective, engaging learning space as a systematic training in the diagnosis and the emotions through the elementary students will be able to improve emotional awaeness competency.

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the degree of awareness toward child abuse behaviors, causes of child abuse, and the necessity of the parent education for child abuse prevention in the parents of elementary school students. Four hundred fifty parents of elementary school students participated for this study. The results were as follows. First, the parents generally were aware of emotional abuse and physical abuse, but not aware of neglect. In the comparison, according to parental education level and family income, highly educated parents and high-income parents were more aware of both emotional abuse and neglect. Second, most of the parents agreed on the causes of child abuse presented in the survey except the cause of having an unexpected child. Third, most parents agreed on the necessity of parent education programs for child abuse prevention. The discussion for the results and strategies for child abuse prevention was provided.

An abundant emotional experience in childhood can be a basis of success of their life. In this research, I set up a hypothesis as follows to see if a group plastic activities are effective for the improvement of children's emotional intelligence and self-emotion awareness ability, self-emotion management ability, self-motivation ability, other's emotion awareness ability and personal relationship skill ability. The research subjects were 40 children of 5 years old(experimental Group: 20, controlled group: 20) in Y kindergarten located in Ulsan. In pretest, we confirmed homogeneity between experiment and control group using child emotional checklist and then applied small group plastic artistic activities to the experiment group. Data analysis was performed with population, percentage, t-test and Cronbach a. The findings of this study were: First, the group plastic artistic activities was effective for the emotional intelligence of children. Second, the small group plastic activities was effective for the self-emotion awareness, self-emotion control and self motivation ability of children. Third, the small group plastic activities was effective for the awareness ability about other's emotion and personal relationship skill ability. The result of this study implies that the small group plastic artistic activities are effective children's emotion and we need to develop the various activity program and practice for children's emotion development.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to identify the related factors of cautious purchasing for buyers who have purchased products in online shopping mall. First, we focus on the prevention focus, which is one of the personal characteristics, that affect the cautious purchase, and analyze the satisfaction of purchasing according to cautious purchase. Furthermore, we investigate the influence of emotional intelligence (self-awareness and social-awareness) on the process of cautious purchasing and satisfaction. Design/methodology/approach In order to verify the hypotheses, this study surveyed individuals who purchase products on the Internet for about 2 months from August to September 2016. A total of 250 copies were returned, but 20 questionnaires that were incomplete were excluded. Thus, the final 230 samples were analyzed. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was used for hypothesis testing. Findings The result of this study showed that the cautious purchasing is stronger for the buyers with the prevention focus. And consumers who purchase carefully have higher satisfaction after purchasing. In addition, emotional intelligence in the cautious purchasing process has a positive moderating effect. Based on the results of this study, the theoretical and practical implications are suggested.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the awareness of fathers about early childhood parenting. Methods: Selected fathers of children in early childhood were interviewed, and an open-ended questionnaire was utilized to identify the fathers' awareness of the meaning of parenting, priority for parenting, opinions on paternal roles as a child raiser, parenting difficulties, and what education they wanted to receive as fathers. After their statements were collected, a content analysis was done. Results: Results of the content analysis showed there were 45 significant statements, which were classified into 17 categories. The fathers saw the meaning of parenting as being in five different domains: social, cognitive, emotional, physical and environmental. As for paternal roles, they thought that a fathers should serve as emotional supporters. The parenting difficulties that they faced were attributed to time constraints. Conclusion: For fathers, development of parent education programs that deal with early childhood parenting knowledge, communication methods and how to play with children according to their developmental stages are required, and qualitative research should be implemented to keep track of the process of changes in parenting characteristics.

Purpose : This study aimed to examine the effects of the awareness of patient safety culture, emotional labor, and job stress on patient safety nursing activities by comprehensive nursing care medical service ward nurses. Methods : The participants were 112 nurses from the comprehensive nursing care service wards from six hospitals. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using a t-test, ANOVA, Scheffé test, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS version 20.0. Results : The factors that significantly influenced patient safety nursing activities in the comprehensive nursing care medical service ward nurses included job stress (𝛽=-0.18, p<.032) and awareness of patient safety culture (𝛽=0.54, p<.001). The explanatory power of these factors was 31.0% (F=13.43, p<.001). Conclusion : This study showed that the factors that influenced patient safety management activities of comprehensive nursing care medical service ward nurses included job stress and awareness of patient safety culture.
