  • This paper is about Multi-function RFID Reader Platform that receives RF TAC data and transfer data to HOST PC through Blue-Tooth USB, RS-232 and Ethernet. This Reader system is composed of RFID Module, ARM Processor, RS-232, US5 and Ethernet Interface, etc.. The information of Tag stretches the RFID module through the antenna and is received at the ARM processor. ARM processor accomplishes the facility to deliver these informations at the PC server using the Blue-tooth Interface for the wireless and the RS-232, USB and Ethernet MAC Interface for the wire.

  • Upon the changes of human life style due to the distribution of ultra-high speed internet services and the development of high-tech information equipment, the idea of necessity fer home networking has been widely accepted. Thus, "embedded ethernet module" was designed in this paper for the stabilization of home networking by using 8051 MCU, Hardwired TCP/IP (W3150A). By executing remote software on established simple web-server on the target machine, controlling electric equipment became available elsewhere. With this module, establishing a low-cost home automations system would become possible in a ubiquitous society.

  • This paper present the control of an intelligent home robot based on home network. The existing research is almost research of independent robot. home network will be a way that equipments in home exchange information. As robot combine home network, robot will be more intelligent and more powerful. We benefit for that load is divided in home network environment. The robot which has ultrasonic sensors performs obstacle avoidance with the Fuzzy Algorithm. Ethernet serial converter transmit the measuring data of home to a home server and the home server accumulates data. The home server controls the robot and manages home according to the acquired data. This paper supposed the home network system that consist of home server, embedded robot and intelligent home robot.

  • The battery charge/discharge process, the final step of the secondary battery production process, requires real-time precision controls for improving both lifetime and performance of the battery cell. In this paper, we present embedded system design for precision control of the secondary battery charge/discharge production process using low power embedded processor based on embedded linux. This system receive charge/discharge command from the main server through ethernet. Compared to existing charge/discharge control system, our design makes low cost and precision control system possible.

  • Almost of industrial measuring instruments usually are equipped only with serial communication devices. In order to connect these instruments to internet, we implement an embedded translator. This device has the hardware components composed of one WAN port, two LAN ports, and two UARTs, and functions as a communication translator between serial and internet communication. it also provides web-based monitoring function that is absent from existing serial-to-ethernet converter. The hardware is implemented using the KS8695 network processor which s an ARM922T as processor core. We have installed the boa web server and utilized the CGI function for internet-based remote control, added the IP sharing function which allows the network with private IP addresses to access the internet, and developed a serial-to-ethernet translation program. Finally, we show an application example of the developed translator that remotely monitors the solar energy production system.

  • This paper describes the implementation of an internet-based servo-control system with novel direct internet control architecture which is insensitive to the inherent internet time delay. The servo control system can be controlled by using a PC provided at a local site. However, a large internet time delay may make some control inputs distorted. Moreover, since it is acted by the number of the internet nodes and loads, this delay is variable and unpredictable. This system consists of servo mechanism and Ethernet control adapter. Intention of this paper is to reduce the expenses, to manage effectively for plant and to increase the productivity through linking each plant of several factories by TCP/IP and Ethernet, and then many control plants and manager minimize the needed work. Experiments are partially fulfilled using the Labview and Matlab.

  • This is an example of ABSTRACT format. We made a HTTP server using 8 bit microprocessor It was TMP84c015 which applied a z80 core and RTL8019AS was installed for an ethernet physical layer. Assembly language was used to optimized a performance of the MPU, to overcome an restriction of memory sire and to maximize the throughput of packet using TCP, UDP, IP, ICMP, ARP protocol. We used LabVIEW to verify the each protocol on the client side.

  • In this paper, which sees the Strong-ARM SA1110 it used the main CPU and RTP in VoIP system. It will be able to apply the information communication field it embodied. It used the Tynux_box2 with the hardware side and it composed a VOIP system. And it used the RTP which is a real-time protocol in software control portion. The development environment of the paper that used the Target board and a Linux PC for connection used the RS-232C, USB connection, Ethernet LAN. The VoIP the environment for a communication used the wave file in the substitution which changes analog signal with the digital signal. And For the communication of the both sides it used the socket. This paper explained the fact that against a general technique from the operation of VoIP system. Using the Embedded linux development board which explained an operational process of the RTP protocol.

  • This paper is about designing and implementation of Multi-Function UHF RFID Reader Platform that receives and processes RFID tag data from the tags, and transmits the data to PC server through Bluetooth, USB, RS-232 or Ethernet. This reader system is composed of RFID module, ARM processor, RS-232 interface, USB, Ethernet MAC interface, Bluetooth etc.. This paper also provides a brief overview and concept of RFID reader, and proposes the design and implementations of the RFID reader platform. The paper evaluates and analyzes two practical implementations, fixed type and portable type.

  • This paper proposed a platform which includes both Network processor and DSP for flexible IED. The Network processor is one of the Intel's IXP4XX Product Line family and the DSP is one of the TI's C6000 family. An embedded Linux is ported in Network processor so that a DSP program can be downloaded to Network processor through ethernet and then downloaded to DSP. Using this method, various algorithms according to IED can be applied to the Network processor board. Maximum ten ADCs can be connected because there is a CPLD between DSP and ADC. That is, the network processor board which can measure maximum 40 channels is implemented. In DSP program, thread and double buffering methods are used not to miss voltage samples. The Network processor board is verified using a method that eight channel voltage signals converted to digital are transmitted to server through both DSP and IXP425.
