This paper suggests a new scalar multiplication algerian to resist SPA which threatens the security of cryptographic primitive on the hardware recently, and discusses how to apply this algerian Our algorithm is better than other SPA countermeasure algorithms aspect to computational efficiency. Since known SPA countermeasure algorithms have dependency of computation. these are difficult to construct parallel architecture efficiently. To solve this problem our algorithm removes dependency and computes a multiplication and a squaring during inversion with parallel architecture in order to minimize loss of performance. We implement hardware logic with VHDL(VHSIC Hardware Description Language) to verify performance. Synthesis tool is Synplify Pro 7.0 and target chip is Xillinx VirtexE XCV2000EFGl156. Total equivalent gate is 60,508 and maximum frequency is 30Mhz. Our scalar multiplier can be applied to digital signature, encryption and decryption, key exchange, etc. It is applied to a embedded-micom it protects SPA and provides efficient computation.

Access control protocol have verified security of external mobile terminal that access to inner information sever at Ubiquitous ages. In this paper, I would design for If Access Control Protocol of considering operation time when make cipher digital signature. Public key are used Individual identification number that issued from certify communication company, and cipher algorithm are used ECDSA definition factor for generation and verification of digital signature and it used Elliptic Curve with over 160 bit Key. Also, Access control operate on If level that designed IPv6 frame architecture. I would conclude that IP Access Control Protocol have verified security and improved performance in operation time more 4 times than before protocols when through the communication of use cipher digital signature for authentication and verification.
In this paper, we implement an Elliptic Curve Cryptosystem(ECC) processor for DTCP. Because DTCP(Digital Transmission Content Protection) uses GF(p), where p is a 160-bit prime integer, we design a scalar multiplier based on GF(p). The scalar multiplier consists of a modular multiplier and an adder. The multiplier uses montgomery algorithm which is implemented with CSA(Carry-save Adder) and CLA(Carry-lookahead Adder). Our new scalar multiplier has been synthesized using Samsung 0.18 um CMOS technology and the maximum operation frequency is estimated 98 MHz, with the size about 65,000 gates. The resulting performance is 29.6 kbps, that is, it takes 5.4 msec to process a 160-bit data frame. We assure that this performance is enough to be used for digital signature, encryption/decryption, and key exchanges in real time environments.

For an ElGamal-type signature scheme using a generate g of order q, it has been well-known that the message nonce should be chosen randomly in the interval (0, q-1) for each message to be signed. In (2), H. Kuwakado and H. Tanaka proposed a polynomial time algorithm that gives the private key of the signer if two signatures with message nonces 0<$k_1$, $k_2$$\leq$Ο(equation omitted) are available. Recently, R. Gallant, R. Lambert, and S. Vanstone suggested a method to improve the efficiency of elliptic curve crytosystem using integer decomposition. In this paper, by applying the integer decomposition method to the algorithm proposed by Kuwakado and Tanaka, we extend the algorithm to work in the case when |$k_1$ |,|$k_2$, |$\leq$Ο(equation mitted) and improve the efficiency and completeness of the algorithm.

In this paper, we implemented a scalar multiplier needed at an elliptic curve cryptosystem over standard basis in $GF(2^{163})$. The scalar multiplier consists of a radix-16 finite field serial multiplier and a finite field inverter with some control logics. The main contribution is to develop a new fast finite field inverter, which made it possible to avoid time consuming iterations of finite field multiplication. We used an algorithmic transformation technique to obtain a data-independent computational structure of the Extended Euclid GCD algorithm. The finite field multiplier and inverter shown in this paper have regular structure so that they can be easily extended to larger word size. Moreover they can achieve 100% throughput using the pipelining. Our new scalar multiplier is synthesized using Hyundai Electronics 0.6$\mu\textrm{m}$ CMOS library, and maximum operating frequency is estimated about 140MHz. The resulting data processing performance is 64Kbps, that is it takes 2.53ms to process a 163-bit data frame. We assure that this performance is enough to be used for digital signature, encryption & decryption and key exchange in real time embedded-processor environments.

Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) provides location information using signals from multiple satellites. However, a spoofing attack that forges signals or retransmits delayed signals may cause errors in the location information. To prevent such attacks, authentication protocols considering the navigation message structure of each GNSS can be used. In this paper, we analyze the authentication protocols of Global Positioning System (GPS), Galileo, and BeiDou, and compare the performance of Navigation Message Authentication (NMA) of the above systems, using several performance indicators. According to our analysis, authentication protocols are similar in terms of performing NMA and using Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA). On the other hand, they are different in several ways, for example, whether to perform Spreading Code Authentication (SCA), whether to use digital certificates and whether to use Timed Efficient Stream Loss-tolerant Authentication (TESLA). According to our quantitative analysis, the authentication protocol of Galileo has the shortest time between authentications and time to first authenticated fix. We also show that the larger the sum of the navigation message bits and authentication bits, the more severely affected are the time between authentications and the time to first authenticated fix.

In this paper, we implemented an Elliptic Curve Cryptography(ECC) processor for Digital Transmission Contents Protection (DTCP), which is a standard for protecting various digital contents in the network. Unlikely to other applications, DTCP uses ECC algorithm which is defined over GF(p), where p is a 160-bit prime integer. The core arithmetic operation of ECC is a scalar multiplication, and it involves large amount of very long integer modular multiplications and additions. In this paper, the modular multiplier was designed using the well-known Montgomery algorithm which was implemented with CSA(Carry-save Adder) and 4-level CLA(Carry-lookahead Adder). Our new ECC processor has been synthesized using Samsung 0.18 m CMOS standard cell library, and the maximum operation frequency was estimated 98 MHz, with the size about 65,000 gates. The resulting performance was 29.6 kbps, that is, it took 5.4 msec to process a 160-bit data frame. Background: Stroke patients usually experience damage to multiple functions and a long rehabilitation period. Hence, there is a large volume of patient clinical information. It thus takes a long time for clinicians to identify the patient's information and essential pieces of information may be overlooked. To solve this, we stored the essential clinical information of stroke patients in a blockchain and implemented the blockchain technology using the Java programming language. Methods: We created a mini blockchain to store the medical information of patients using the Java programming language. Results: After generating a unique pair of public/private keys for identity verification, a patient's identity is verified by applying the Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm based on the generated keys. When the identity verification is complete, new medical data are stored in the transaction list and the generated transaction is verified. When verification is completed normally, the block hash value is derived using the transaction value and the hash value of the previous block. The hash value of the previous block is then stored in the generated block to interconnect the blocks. Conclusion: We demonstrated that blockchain can be used to store and deliver the patient information of stroke patients. It may be difficult to directly implement the code that we developed in the medical field, but it can serve as a starting point for the creation of a blockchain system to be used in the field.

In this paper, we proposed a new scalar multiplier structure needed for an elliptic curve cryptosystem(ECC) over the standard basis in GF(2$^{163}$ ). It consists of a bit-serial multiplier and a divider with control logics, and the divider consumes most of the processing time. To speed up the division processing, we developed a new division algorithm based on the extended Euclid algorithm. Dynamic data dependency of the Euclid algorithm has been transformed to static and fixed data flow by a localization technique, to make it independent of the input and field polynomial. Compared to other existing scalar multipliers, the new scalar multiplier requires smaller gate counts with improved processor performance. It has been synthesized using Samsung 0.18 um CMOS technology, and the maximum operating frequency is estimated 250 MHz. The resulting performance is 148 kbps, that is, it takes 1.1 msec to process a 163-bit data frame. We assure that this performance is enough to be used for digital signature, encryption/decryption, and key exchanges in real time environments.

In this contributions, we propose a new MSB(most significant bit) algorithm based on AOP(All One Polynomial) and two parallel semi-systolic architectures to computes $AB^2$over finite field $GF(2^m)$. The proposed architectures are based on standard basis and use the property of irreducible AOP(All One Polynomial) which is all coefficients of 1. The proposed parallel semi-systolic architecture(PSM) has the critical path of $D_{AND2^+}D_{XOR2}$ per cell and the latency of m+1. The modified parallel semi-systolic architecture(WPSM) has the critical path of $D_{XOR2}$ per cell and has the same latency with PSM. The proposed two architectures, PSM and MPSM, have a low latency and a small hardware complexity compared to the previous architectures. They can be used as a basic architecture for exponentiation, division, and inversion. Since the proposed architectures have regularity, modularity and concurrency, they are suitable for VLSI implementation. They can be used as a basic architecture for algorithms, such as the Diffie-Hellman key exchange scheme, the Digital Signature Algorithm(DSA), and the ElGamal encryption scheme which are needed exponentiation operation. The application of the algorithms can be used cryptosystem implementation based on elliptic curve.
