  • Dedicated Short Range Communications(DSRC) as a prominent communications candidate for Intelligent Transportation Systems(ITS) have been developed to support ITS applications such as value-added information service, e-commerce, electronic toll payment, etc. These various applications associated with electronic payment through unsecure communication channel of DSRC suffer from security threats. To ensure secure payment, we have adopted appropriate cryptographic mechanisms including encipherment, authentication exchange and digital signature. The cryptographic mechanisms require to use cryptographic keys established between two communication entities. In this paper, we propose a secure electronic payment system which is designed to have some functions for strong authentication, encryption, key agreement, etc. Especially, we adopt domestic developed cryptographic algorithms such as EC-KCDSA and SEED for digital signature and block cipher, respectively. We can show those mechanisms are appropriate for the secure electronic payment system for ITS services under the DSRC wireless environment in aspects of constrained computational resource use and processing speed.

  • The growth in EC will continue, irrespective of the medium or the type of environments established by organizations. Global electronic trade has been increasingly spreading all over the world due to the rapid development of internet and IT. For expanding the use of electronic trade, electronic payment based on electronic trade payment system is essential. The importance of trust is based on the potential use of the technology to increase information sharing. Last, it is necessary that the payment and performance guarantee function are added to unified global authentication system. As for now, Indentrus system is the most appropriate model for it. Thus, the purpose of this study is to present on the international trade trust for improvement to Electronic Commerce.

  • In this paper, a partially blind signature schemes baled on EC-KCDSA is proposed and we applied it to design an electronic check payment system. Because the proposed partially blind signature scheme uses elliptic curve cryptosystem, it has better performance than any existing schems using RSA cryptosystem. When issuing a refund check, one-time pad secret key is used between the bank and the customer to set up secure channel. So the symmetric key management is not required.

  • There are many security problems in the electronic payment system because it is built into the open network. Security problems include both system penetrations from outside and unauthorized access by the inside. Nevertheless, the integrity of messages can be guaranteed through a transfer message with the SEED and HASH encryption algorithm. This paper demonstrates how electronic payment system messages and the information they contain can be made safeguarded using the SEED and HASH encryption algorithm, even when there may be some information loss.

  • A secure Electronic Payment System (EPS) is essential for the booming online shopping market. A successful EPS supports the transfer of electronic money and sensitive information with security, accuracy, and integrity between the seller and buyer over the Internet. SET, CyberCash, Paypal, and iKP are the most popular Credit Card-Based EPSs (CCBEPSs). Some CCBEPSs only use SSL to provide a secure communication channel. Hence, they only prevent "Man in the Middle" fraud but do not protect the sensitive cardholder information such as the credit card number from being passed onto the merchant, who may be unscrupulous. Other CCBEPSs use complex mechanisms such as cryptography, certificate authorities, etc. to fulfill the security schemes. However, factors such as ease of use for the cardholder and the implementation costs for each party are frequently overlooked. In this paper, we propose a Web service based new payment system, based on ANSI X9.59-2006 with extra features added on top of this standard. X9.59 is an Account Based Digital Signature (ABDS) and consumer-oriented payment system. It utilizes the existing financial network and financial messages to complete the payment process. However, there are a number of limitations in this standard. This research provides a solution to solve the limitations of X9.59 by adding a merchant authentication feature during the payment cycle without any addenda records to be added in the existing financial messages. We have conducted performance testing on the proposed system via a comparison with SET and X9.59 using simulation to analyze their levels of performance and security.

  • This paper proposes Electronic Credit Card(EMV) processing procedures for a credit payment method which can be applied to Korean ETCS(Electrical Toll Collection System). In Korea, Korea Highway Corporation services contactless ETCS's called by Hi-Pass and Touch-Pass system at present. These systems operate on a pre-paid payment method similar to electronic money. On the other side, a credit payment method based on credit card has an advantage which does not require pre-paid. The introduction of credit payment method to ETCS is in preparation. In this paper, we propose EMV processing methods based on a credit payment method which can be applied on ETCS.

  • In WISA 2002, Ham et al. proposed a one-way mobile payment system. They claimed that the electronic cash of the system satisfies unforgeability and double spending prevention. In this paper, we point out that their system is not secure as they claimed by showing that the forgery of payment scripts is possible.

  • This paper discusses on Electronic Payment System between U.S.A. and Canada. In particular, I focused on ACSS compare with FedACH(Fed Automated Clearing House) to advance a research effects. Because both of them is a low-value, high-volume retail payment system which their countries represent. The ACSS(Automated Clearing Settlement System) is the system through which the vast majority of CPA payment items are cleared, through various payment streams. In 2014, ACSS system cleared approximately 6.8billion payments worth a total value of $ 44.9 trillion. While, The FedACH Network are the center of America Commerce, moving more than $40 trillion each year. That's made up of almost 23 billion electronic financial transaction, including direct deposit via ACH, social security and government benefits, electronic bill payments such as utility and mortgage payments. Thus in this article, first of all, I considered features of payment system and the types of payment items between ACSS and FedAch. Second, I analyzed the status of central bank and legal background. Third, I focused on the operational policy and risk aversion policy. Lastly, I suggested that their payment and banking system have to assume, with good reason, more efficiently accurately and securely operation to protect their customer from credit risk and financial fraud.

  • As the Internet continues to have the commercial trade changed, the method of payment is one of critical components to conduct successful businesses through the internet. An electronic cash has all of the characteristics of a traditional commodity cash and ensures the security for all transactions. Accordingly an internet billing system based on the electronic cash is expected as the secure and efficient payment method for the future electronic commerces. The digital contents such as digital merchandise and services have the characteristic that both the delivery of merchandise and the payment of money can be accomplished on the same network and are helpful to idealize the design of the electronic commerce system. In this paper, Anonymity got to be possible by using a virtual ID in the process of payment, the payment steps were decreased by being processed on the same network, and the efficiency and the security were guaranteed by decreasing the frequency of the coding and communication.

  • Global Electronic Trading means that trading partners trade each other via Global Electronic Trading Network, that is, global business to business electronic commerce. Electronic payment systems are how to make payment electronically in manner that is efficient, reliable, and secure. I suggest the Electronic payment systems such as TradeCard and SWIFT enable seller and buyer to conduct and settle international B2B electronic commerce in case of solving the above problems. And, where the cargo arrives ahead of the B/L, the importer cannot take delivery of the cargo without the B/L. This situation is referred to as the B/L dilemma. But the BOLERO system will resolve this B/L dilemma. Bolero Project is developing a cross industry utility platform for the secure, electronic transfer of commercial trade information world wide.
