A New Artificial Immune Approach to Hardware Test Based on the Principle of Antibody Diversity

  • This paper proposes a new artificial immune approach to hardware test. A novel algorithm of generating tolerance conditions is suggested based on the principle of the antibody diversity. Tolerance conditions in artificial immune system correspond to the antibody in biological immune system. The suggested method is applied to the on-line monitoring of a typical FSM (a decade counter) and its effectiveness is demonstrated by the computer simulation.

  • A dynamic tri-threshold call admission control scheme has been developed. This scheme supports voice, data, and multimedia services and it complies with the universal mobile telecommunications system. The performance of the proposed scheme is evaluated under varying handover rates. The QoS performance-including channel utilization, call dropping probability, and blocking probability-is investigated. The performance of the developed scheme is found to be encouraging.

  • An electrostatic boundary-value problem of a dielectric-wedge-backed, double-slotted conducting wedge is investigated to analyze an asymmetric coplanar waveguide with an infinite dielectric thickness using the Mellin transform and a mode-matching method. Our theoretical solution based on eigenfunction expansion and residue calculus is a rigorous and fast-convergent series form. Numerical computations are conducted to evaluate the potential field, capacitance, and characteristic impedance for various structures of the asymmetric coplanar waveguide. The computed results show good agreement with the simulated results.

  • 최근 컴퓨터 등을 이용한 정보통신기술의 발달은 인터넷의 보급을 급속하게 확산시켰으며, 그 결과 전자상거래와 전자화폐를 등장시켰다. 이러한 전자상거래와 전자화폐의 도입이 미칠 파급효과는 상당하므로 전자화폐의 개념과 각국의 개발현황을 파악한 후 그에 따른 문제점과 대응방안을 제시하는 것이 시급할 것이다.

HID 램프용 Two-Stage 전자식 안정기의 과도 전류 제어 (Transient Current Control of Two-Stage Electronics Ballast for HID Lamps)

  • The conventional Three-Stage electronic ballast is stable, but Two-Stage electronic ballast has been researching because of efficiency. Three-Stage electronic ballast is consisted of PFC circuit, buck converter, and inverter circuit, but Two-stage is consisted of PFC circuit, Buck-Inverter full bridge circuit. The Buck-Inverter full bridge inverter consists of two half bridge inverters for low frequency switching, and high frequency switching. In the case of street lamp it is far from a lamp to a ballast, the conventional pulsed high voltage ignitor can not turn on the HID lamps because of reduction of ignition voltage. Therefore, it needs to do the research on a resonant ignition to turn on the HID lamps. Therefore, in the Two-Stage electronic ballast which has the resonant tank for ignition, the transient resonant current because of low frequency changing is analyzed, the novel algorithm is proposed to resuce the transient current.

An Improved Topology for the Current Fed Parallel Resonant Half Bridge Circuits Used in Fluorescent Lamp Electronic Ballasts

  • An improvement in the current fed parallel resonant half bridge (CFPRHB) circuits used in fluorescent lamp electronic ballasts is provided in this paper. The CFPRHB belongs to the self-oscillating family which includes the current fed push-pull and series resonant inverters, most of which are used in instant-start applications. However, many failure modes are related to the bypass capacitor according to an analysis of failed samples. In this paper, the operating functions of the existing topology in the steady state are analyzed and the main root cause of failure modes has been found. Comparisons between the two topologies are conducted in terms of the voltage stress of the bypass capacitor as well as the thermal and performance of the ballasts to verify the advantages of the proposed topology. It is found that the improved topology is capable of enhancing the reliability and reducing the cost of products without having a negative influence on the system performance.

Patch Integrity Verification Method Using Dual Electronic Signatures

  • Many organizations today use patch management systems to uniformly manage software vulnerabilities. However, the patch management system does not guarantee the integrity of the patch in the process of providing the patch to the client. In this paper, we propose a method to guarantee patch integrity through dual electronic signatures. The dual electronic signatures are performed by the primary distribution server with the first digital signature and the secondary distribution server with the second digital signature. The dual electronic signature ensures ensure that there is no forgery or falsification in the patch transmission process, so that the client can verify that the patch provided is a normal patch. The dual electronic signatures can enhance the security of the patch management system, providing a secure environment for clients.

  • 본 논문은 웹(www)상에서의 사회복지 사이트구축을 위한 전자지불시스템에 관한 연구이다. 사이버상에서 후원자가 다양한 방법을 통해 후원금을 납부함으로서 시공간을 초월한 도움의 손길이 보다 쉽고 다양하게 되었다. 이러한 연구는 상거래에서의 전자지불시스템을 변형하여 사용함으로서 보다 효율적인 방법을 제공하는 방식이다. 본 시스템은 기존의 인터넷을 통한 지불시스템보다 안전하며, 후원방법도 다양하게 제공함으로서 수혜자와 후원자간의 다양한 도움의 손길이 연결되리라 기대된다.

A Study on Improvement of Electronic Library Services Using User Review Data in Mobile App Market

  • This study aims to analyze users' assessment of electronic libraries in the mobile app market and promote service improvement based on this. To this end, the basic background and purpose of the research, research method, and research scope were first set, and the relevant literature and empirical prior studies were analyzed. Next, users' evaluations of electronic libraries were collected and analyzed from Google Play Store. Based on the results analyzed, measures to improve the quality of electronic libraries were discussed. Based on the results of the study, the following improvement measures are proposed. Need for systemic improvement and stabilization. Provision of applications suitable for multi-device environments. Resumption of services after systematic inspection after updating. Simplification of sign up, log in, and authentication procedures. User support through real-time chat. Introduction of a detailed assessment of reviews. Provision of guidance and user manual for electronic libraries. Improvements to expand user convenience, and Securing differentiation from other similar services.
