The electronic commerce systems has been emerge in the field of commerce by making it possible to sell goods without the restriction of time and space. As the business based on the electronic commerce is increased, many studies related to the electronic commerce have been presented. In conventional electronic commerce systems, the buyers purchase some goods by using the information such as quality and price that are offered by the seller. In this paper we propose intelligent interface model that can satisfy the both sides.

Research relevant to the electronic commerce tends to either overestimate or underrate the role of Information and Communication Technology (lCT). There is both technological skepticism within the social science circles and technical optimism within the engineering and computing field. Each perspective seems to have a limitation in adequately explaining the phenomenon of electronic commerce diffusion. Therefore, this research attempts to explore major characteristics of Web-based shopping systems as enablers of new business, concerning both the technical and business aspects in contemporary electronic commerce settings. On this basis, this paper addresses a configuration model of WBSS on the harmonious perspective concerning both the technical and business issues. It is our hope that both technical perspective and business perspective for exploring WBSS's configuration model presented in this paper can be an initial step towards a more balanced debate of ICT role, for electronic commerce.

Due to the advance of the Internet, the electronic commerce is getting more widely used, and customer's demand for the e-Commerce service quality is rapidly increasing. On the other hand, e-Commerce companies required the Internet services whose quality is provided more reliable service to their customers. Therefore, it is very important to provide both e-Commerce companies and customers with the measurement and service quality in real-life network environment. But the research on the service quality measurement method for electronic commerce systems has been limited because ISP and e-Commerce providers seldom disclose detailed service measures such as, where and how much service delay incurred. In this paper, we construct sample e-Commerce systems and try to measure the service quality of the systems in real network environment. We have analyzed the delay zones and causes using a measurement tool. We must reflect the improvement method against delay causes. Accordingly, the customers can be experiences the better service quality. We hope that this research will be the groundwork for future research on the service quality of various types of e-Commerce systems and online services.

In December 1999, the AICPA introduced WebTrust, a electronic commerce assurance service of ensuring safe trading on the web, in order to effect consumer confidence into electronic commerce. Shortly afterwards, CPA associations of other advanced nations, such as Canada, Australia, also adopted this service. This study focuses on introduction of electronic commerce assurance service of ensuring safe trading on the web. WebTrust assurance service expected to be the international standard in electronic commerce in the near future and not only as a source of income for domestic accounting firms, which have simpler income structure than the international counterparts, but also as catalyst for stimulating electronic commerce. The findings of the study are expected to contribute to accounting practice, academy of accounting and electronic commerce firms in the following ways. Domestically, as Korea is considering using the electronic commerce assurance service, this study will help promote adoption of WebTrust assurance service. This study has shown, in the midst of declining income of accounting firms by audit, a way to increase their audit boundary.

As the information technology advances and the number of internet users increase, the electronic commerce has been discussed actively in the academic and industrial circles. Though the reference model is important as a guide to the study on electronic commerce at this time, current studies on the reference model are inclined to emphasize on the specified area, not on overall area. In this respect, this paper aims to provide the synthetic reference model - named the ECGR model(Electronic Commerce Generic Reference model) - and its application plans. First, for these purposes, several frameworks and reference models of electronic commerce are compared and analyzed from the various viewpoints. Second, several factors for the development of the reference model are proposed. Finally, the ECGR model is developed and its application plans are suggested. The ECGR model provides a conceptual and analytical apparatus to interpret the profound understanding of electronic commerce and presents the fundamental framework related to the electronic commerce projects. According to the expansion of electronic commerce and the development of related information technology, the ECGR model must be modified.

The terms electronic trade, electronic trading and electronic commerce are often used interchangeably, and refer to trading transactions conducted using electronic media. Electronic trade is business-to-business transactions in an industrial context, while electronic commerce refers to retailing and the consumer sector as well as mass marketing. The Electronic trade process is defined as a flow of information (documents) exchanged between enterprises and trade-related firms (shipping companies, foreign exchange banks, forwarders, etc.) in the course of implementing a series of export and import procedures. Electronic trading systems exploit information technology to improve the efficiency of communications and/or to alter the nature of inter-organizational transactions. Many studies exist about the adoption of inter-organizational systems (IOS) and electronic data interchange (EDI), but few focus on electronic trade. The literature on exporting companies's electronic trade adoption and implementation, although extensive, consists mainly of exploratory studies focusing on technological characteristics such as barriers, benefits and usage. The purpose of this study is to broaden this perspective by investigating the environmental, organizational and technological drivers of business-to-business e-commerce adoption.

Advances in information and telecommunications technology are producing unprecedented shifts in the way businesses conduct their business, Today, electronic commerce is becoming pervasive due to, in large part, the widespread use of Internet and Worldwide Web. One element that plays an important role in shaping the success of electronic commerce is the electronic payment system. Deficiency in its reliability and security may lead to unwanted outcomes, including economic losses and customer dissatisfaction. By far, numerous forms of electronic payment systems have been introduced in the virtual marketplace. However, there exists little research that has focused on the characteristics of the electronic payment systems such that they may be compared with one another. This article is aimed at providing a framework for comparative analysis of electronic payment systems, examining the characteristics of the individual payment systems, and suggesting a choice strategy which enables a firm to select an appropriate payment system suited to their business needs. The framework classifies electronic payment systems into four categories including electronic cash, electronic checks, credit cards, and smart cards, and it can be employed in planning for an electronic commerce system.

Peer-to-peer systems (P2P) are rapidly growing in importance on the Internet environment, quickly extending the range of their usage. However, peer-to-peer systems have not been widely applied in electronic commerce because they have not been established as an appropriate business model. Therefore, we firstly review the previous research relevant to peer-to-peer systems, and then analyze the business models for P2P systems presented by previous researchers. Furthermore, this study categorizes major issues in terms of the technical and business model aspects. On the basis of these reviews, we develop P2P electronic commerce systems based on the file sharing method between users, focusing on user interface friendliness. A developed P2P electronic commerce systems are programmed by using the C# based on the Microsoft.net solution. A database is implemented using the MSSQL2000. A main application technology is designed that P2P electronic commerce systems make it possible. for user to extend into BtoB Solution by using WSDL (Web Services Description Language), UDDI (Universal Description, Discovery, and Integration) and the XML that is a document for users. User interface is made as form of Internet messenger for a user's convenience and is possible to develop into a commodity transaction system based on XML. In this study, it is possible for the P2P electronic commerce system to have extended application to fields such as Internet shopping mall and property transaction in a nonprofit organization, a public institution and a large scale nonprofit institution that have a similar structure as compared with a structure of a nonprofit educational institution.

As Electronic Commerce is popularized, crimes related to Electronic Commerce are also increasing, Electronic shopping malls and payment gateways focus their attention on network security of payment information or the sizes of encryption keys, In real world, however, the payment-related crimes in electronic shopping malls are not based on the security hole of encryption mechanism of the payment systems, but on the customers carelessness or the insecurity of server systems of merchants or financial institutes. So, this research analyzes the structure of current electronic payment systems, investigates the payment-related crimes, addresses the structural problems of the Korean electronic payment systems, and suggests an alternative general architecture for secure payment systems by incorporating the concept of separation of order information and payment information.

This study deals with controversial issues surrounding the today′s cyber-taxation and recommends feasible consumption tax system architecture titled Global Electronic Tax Invoice System (GETI). The GETI is an electronic consumption tax architecture to provide "all-in-one" tax and e-payment services through a trusted third party (TTP). GETI is designed to streamline the overall cyber-taxation process and provide simplified and transparent tax invoice services through an authorized np. To ensure information security, GETI incorporates public Key infrastructure (PKI) based digital certificates and other data encryption schemes when calculating, reporting, paying, and auditing tax in the electronic commerce environment. GETI is based on the OECD cyber-taxation agreement that was reached in January 2001, which established the taxation model for B2B and B2C electronic commerce transactions. For the value added tax systems, tax invoice is indispensable to commerce activities, since they provide documentations to prove the validity of commercial transactions. As paper-based tax invoice systems are gradually phased out and are replaced with electronic tax invoice systems, there is an increasing need to develop a reliable, efficient, transparent, and secured cyber-taxation architecture. To design such architecture, several desirable system attributes were considered -- reliability, efficiency, transparency, and security. GETI was developed with these system attributes in mind.
