DC 모터를 위한 전류궤환형 학습제어기 설계 (Design of Current-Feedback Control for DC Motors)

  • This paper presents a current feedback learning controller for dynamic control of DC motors. The proposed controller uses the full third-order dynamics model of DC motor system to drive stable learning rules for virtual current learning input, voltage learning input, and the coefficient of electromotive force. It is shown that the proposed learning controller drives the state of uncertain DC motor system with unknown system parameters and external load torque to the desired one globally asymptotically. Computer simulation and experimental results are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed adaptive learning controller.

  • In this paper, we propose two types of novel discrete time current control methods of modified fixed band hysteresis control and optimal control for Parallel Resonant DC Link Inverters(PRDCLI). Because zero bus voltage intervals are generated on the DC link of PRDCLI, we can obtain the information of counter electromotive force(emf) by a simple estimation strategy. The proposed current controllers predict the currents of the next resonant cycle using the obstained information of counter emf and the average values of DC link voltages. The computer simulation results for a simple equivalent circuit of induction motor show that the proposed control methods are more effective than conventional methods.

Connectivity and Electrical Conductivity of YSZ-NiO Composite

  • The electrical properties of the mixed conducting yttria(8 mol%) stabilized zirconia(YSZ)-nickel oxide(NiO) composites were examined by a.c. impedance, 4-probe d.c. conductivity between 400 and $1000^{\circ}C$. The oxygen partial pressure dependence of conductivity, and electromotive force measurement of galvanic cell enabled to determine the electronic contribution to the conduction. Up to 6 vol% NiO addition, the conductivity decreased since the electronic NiO acted as an insulator in ionic matrix. However the ionic transport was dominant until NiO content reaches 26 vol%. Mixed conduction was observed between 26 and 68 vol% of NiO. The effect of composition on the electrical property was explained by the microstructure and thus by the distribution of two phases.

  • This paper propose a development of surface permanent mount synchronous generator(SPMSG) for 5-phase 5Kw in order to study a polyphase ac machinery that keep hold of advantages more than traditional three-phase squirrel-cage induction motor, such as reducing a amplitude of torque pulsation decreasing electric noises, and increasing the reliability. Design methods of the generator use a development tools with Maxwell 2D and Simplorer. There are designed drawing of manufactured frames of the SPMSG. A amplitude and waveform of the generated electromotive force, FFT analysis of harmonics within output voltages, and reviewing a experiment results are shown by variable output frequency. We are presenting a design and manufacture methods for the SPMSG.

  • In order to level electric power of the photovoltaic and wind-turbine system and ensure fast response of the fuel-cell and micro-turbine, the energy storage is required in the microgrid system. In this paper, a simplified simulation model of the battery energy storage for charging method with IUIa is developed using PSCAD/EMTDC. The model consists of e.m.f.(electromotive force), internal resistor and overvoltage capacitor. A method for deciding parameters of the model on a case-by-case basis is proposed. The developed model can be used in the simulation of a complicated system such as a microgrid system.

  • 본 논문에서는 스위치드 릴럭턴스 모터의 새로운 회전자 위치 검출법을 제안한다. 기존의 위치센서의 약점을 보완하기 위해 위치 검출 방법의 저 비용과 강인성에 관심을 갖고, 시변 쇄교자속에 의해 토로이달 SRM의 내부에 장착된 서치 코일에 유기되는 전압 파형을 이용하여 위치 검출을 시도하였다. 서치 코일에서 유기되는 전압 파형이 회전자의 위치정보를 포함하고 있으므로, 이를 이용해 회전자의 특정위치를 검출하고 적절한 상을 여자시킴으로써 SRM을 구동할 수 있게 된다. 실험을 통하여 서치코일만을 이용하여 토로이달 SRM을 구동시킨 결과와 엔코더를 사용하여 구동시킨 결과와 비교함으로써 본 논문에서 제시한 방법의 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • Five control methods (Speed Control, PID Gain Scheduling, Loop Time Control, Simple PID, Switching Control) have been applied to the control of an Inline Co-axial valve by the simulation of AMESim. The simulation results have shown that the speed control method is the most stable and the fastest way to reach to the set point in the simulation of the flow control. Moreover, It has been found that the five control methods have the almost same characteristics in the power consumption, the counter electromotive force, and the motor angular velocity. According to the analysis results, the fast and stable control characteristics of the speed control method is the most suitable for the flow control using a inline co-axial valve with a DC(BLCD) motor.

  • This paper presents an operating characteristics of the 5-phase 5kW with developed the surface permanent magnetic synchronous generato (SPMSG) in order to make a study of a polyphase ac motors keeping hold of more advantages. There are shown a amplitude and waveform of the generated electromotive force, in FFT analysis of harmonics, within output voltages, and reviewing a experiment results in no-load test, resistive load, and inductive load using 5-phase induction motor by variable output frequency. The operating characteristics of the developed manufacturing generator include voltage regulation, efficiency, power factor, THD, and so on at rated load.

  • This paper presents a new method of detecting rotor position in Toroidal Switched Reluctance Motor(TSRM). In this paper, low cost and robust characteristics of rotor position detection method are focused in order to compensate for disadvantage of general sensors. Search coils wound through the hole of the stator poles are used for detection of the rotor position in TSRM. Rotor position detection is achieved through electromotive force patterns induced by time-varying flux linkage in the search coils and then adequate phase is excited for drive. The initial rotor position estimation method is also described. The validity of the method is verified by experimental results.

Evaluation of Back-EMF Estimators for Sensorless Control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors

  • This paper presents a comparative study of position sensorless control schemes based on back-electromotive force (back-EMF) estimation in permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM). The characteristics of the estimated back-EMF signals are analyzed using various mathematical models of a PMSM. The transfer functions of the estimators, based on the extended EMF model in the rotor reference frame, are derived to show their similarity. They are then used for the analysis of the effects of both the motor parameter variations and the voltage errors due to inverter nonlinearity on the accuracy of the back-EMF estimation. The differences between a phase-locked-loop (PLL) type estimator and a Luenberger observer type estimator, generally used for extracting rotor speed and position information from estimated back-EMF signals, are also examined. An experimental study with a 250-W interior-permanent-magnet machine has been performed to validate the analyses.
