While the frequency of seismic occurrence has been increasing recently, the domestic seismic response system is weak, the objective of this research is to compare and analyze the seismic vulnerability of buildings using statistical analysis and machine learning techniques. As the result of using statistical technique, the prediction accuracy of the developed model through the optimal scaling method showed about 87%. As the result of using machine learning technique, because the accuracy of Random Forest method is 94% in case of Train Set, 76.7% in case of Test Set, which is the highest accuracy among the 4 analyzed methods, Random Forest method was finally chosen. Therefore, Random Forest method was derived as the final machine learning technique. Accordingly, the statistical analysis technique showed higher accuracy of about 87%, whereas the machine learning technique showed the accuracy of about 76.7%. As the final result, among the 22,296 analyzed building data, the seismic vulnerabilities of 1,627(0.1%) buildings are expected as more dangerous when the statistical analysis technique is used, 10,146(49%) buildings showed the same rate, and the remaining 10,523(50%) buildings are expected as more dangerous when the machine learning technique is used. As the comparison of the results of using advanced machine learning techniques in addition to the existing statistical analysis techniques, in spatial analysis decisions, it is hoped that this research results help to prepare more reliable seismic countermeasures.

To detect harmful chemical substances in seawater, we fabricated a prototype sensor and evaluated its performance. The prototype sensor consisted of a detector, housing, and driving circuit. We built the detector by printing an Indium-Tin-Oxide (ITO) nanoparticle film on a flexible substrate, and it had two detection parts for simultaneous detection of temperature and HNS concentration. The housing connected the detector and the driving circuit and was made of Teflon material to prevent chemical reactions that may affect sensor performance. The driving circuit supplied electric power, and display measured data using a bridge circuit and an Arduino board. We evaluated the sensor performances such as response (ΔR), the limit of detection (LOD), response time, and errors to confirm the specification.

The possibility of improving plating thickness distribution was investigated through quantitative consideration of bipolar electrodes without external power applied. By having the cathode tilted with respect to the anode, the potential distribution in the electrolyte solution adjacent to the cathode is different due to the difference in iR drop due to the path difference to the anode in each region of the cathode. The purpose of this study is to observe the bipolar characteristics in the case of an auxiliary anode for the non-uniform potential distribution of such a Hull cell. In particular, in order to evaluate the possibility of improving the non-uniform thickness distribution of the cathode by utilizing these bipolar characteristics, it was verified through experiments and simulations, and the electric potential and current density distribution around the bipolar electrode were analyzed. The electroplating in a Hull cell was performed for 75 min at a current density of 10 mA/cm2, and the average thickness is about 16 ㎛. The standard deviation of the thickness was 10 ㎛ in the normal Hull cell without using the auxiliary anode, whereas it was 3.5 ㎛ in the case of using the auxiliary cathode. Simulation calculations also showed 8.9 ㎛ and 3.3 ㎛ for each condition, and it was found that the consistency between the experimental and simulation results was relatively high, and the thickness distribution could be improved through using the auxiliary anode by the bipolar phenomenon.

In order to furnish the fundamental data for the domestic production of magnetic compass and the prescription of standardization about it in Korea, authors made the helmholtz coil and investigated the characteristics of them. Subsequently, the damping curves of T190 and T165 compasses in the helmholtz coil were measured and analyzed the performance of those compass. The results obtained are as follows; 1. The relation between electric current (I sub I) to flow in the helmholtz coils, that the thickness of coil is 1mm, diameter 1m, winding number 117, and intensity of magnetic field is presented as follows. Vertical magnetic force: Z(Gauss)=0.34+1.506 I sub(i) Horizontal magnetic force: H(Gauss)=0.183+1.506 I sub(i) 2. Period of T190 compass is longer than T165 compass in all horizontal magnetic force. In the amplitude, the former is larger than the latter above 0.08 Gauss, but this phenomenon is opposed to that below 0.08 Gauss. 3. As the porizontal magnetic force is intensive, period of magnetic compass is short, amplitude is large, and damping degree and damping factor are small. The time elapsed to the principal points of damping curve is proportional to the -0.65 power of the horizontal magnetic force.
In this study, ultimate lateral load capacity of piles is analyzed with consideration of lateral stress effect. Based on results obtained in this study, a method for the estimation of ultimate lateral load capacity is proposed. This makes it possible to more realistically estimate the ultimate lateral load capacity under various stress states caused by in-situ soil condition and pile installation process. Calibration chamber test results with various soil conditions were used in the analysis. From the test results, it was found that effect of the lateral stress was greater than that of the vertical stress on the ultimate lateral load capacity of piles. It was also found that, as the relative density increases, displacements required to reach the ultimate state increases, showing relative displacements of around 14% and 18-25% for $D_R$ : 55% and 86%, respectively. Based on results obtained in this study, a methodology for the estimation of ultimate lateral load capacity of piles using correction factors was proposed. Results from proposed method matched well measured results.

Today, people in cities use differentthe types of transportation that rangepeople use in cities have diversified from existing public transportation, cars, taxis to shared bicycles and shared electric kickboards. In addition, with the development of mobile platform -based search, order, and payment services, and transportation services have also begun to change into platform-based integrated services. In particular, MaaS, which has emerged as an integrated mobile service and, is currently being studied and operated worldwide., However, MaaS but remains at the level of the integrated provision of the existing public transportation. As a result of Specifically, the results of a literature review on this issue reveal that, the First/Last Mile problem raised at the current level of MaaS is likely to be solved by establishing an improved policy incorporating new means of transportation. Therefore, this study aims to establish a First/Last Mile transportation supply plan for successful MaaS provision. This establishment is realized by analyzing the traffic patterns of urban populations usingbased on the ABATA system,, an activity-based traffic analysis model withevaluated as having higher analysis power on people's traffic.

With recent surge of attention to heating and air conditioning energy consumption, the need for evaluating performance of heating and air conditioning energy is also on the rise. This research aims to propose daily-life based evaluation method as an alternative to existing one, as well as to apply the method in real life to prove its validity. The results are as following. 1) I studied temperatures preferred by persons indoors and appropriate level of temperature, and the results show that properties of such persons such as age is directly linked with pleasantness of the room, but the issue lies with the fact that such properties are not considered in existing performance evaluation of heating and air conditioning. 2) Daily life based evaluation proposed herein reflects such properties of persons indoors. It controls heating / air conditioning devices installed in the test bed with the same size as a real life room to get quantitative and visual performances in our daily life as well as simple temperature information. 3) To verify validity of daily life based evaluation, I conducted different evaluation sessions with and without a blind and also based on ages of persons indoors. Results based on properties of persons showed difference of 77.6%, leading to effective analysis of energy consumption pattern by heating / air conditioning devices. This research takes significance in that it comes with a new performance evaluation method based on real life, and I gather that further studies are required to develop more multilateral performance evaluation in order to verify and improve technology for reduction of energy consumption.
In the recent period, there have been numerous earthquakes both domestically and internationally, and buildings in South Korea are particularly vulnerable to seismic design and earthquake damage. Therefore, the objective of this study is to discover an effective method for assessing the seismic vulnerability of buildings and conducting a density analysis of high-risk structures. The aim is to model this approach and validate it using data from pilot area(Seoul). To achieve this, two modeling techniques were employed, of which the predictive accuracy of the statistical analysis technique was 87%. Among the machine learning techniques, Random Forest Model exhibited the highest predictive accuracy, and the accuracy of the model on the Test Set was determined to be 97.1%. As a result of the analysis, the district rating revealed that Gwangjin-gu and Songpa-gu were relatively at higher risk, and the density analysis of at-risk buildings predicted that Seocho-gu, Gwanak-gu, and Gangseo-gu were relatively at higher risk. Finally, the result of the statistical analysis technique was predicted as more dangerous than those of the machine learning technique. However, considering that about 18.9% of the buildings in Seoul are designed to withstand the Seismic intensity of 6.5 (MMI), which is the standard for seismic-resistant design in South Korea, the result of the machine learning technique was predicted to be more accurate. The current research is limited in that it only considers buildings without taking into account factors such as population density, police stations, and fire stations. Considering these limitations in future studies would lead to more comprehensive and valuable research.
This study aims to analyze the impact of catchphrases used in job postings on job applications in the context of accelerating social participation of Generation Z and changing business environments. To this end, case studies of catchphrases used in job postings by domestic and international companies were conducted. In addition, job postings for the Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), a well-known public institution, were created using four trend keywords: 'general phrases,' 'eco-friendliness,' 'employee welfare,' and 'social issues (equality).' An online survey was conducted to analyze the impact of catchphrases in job postings on job applications, and the results showed that 83% of respondents found that the catchphrases in job postings had a positive effect on their application decisions. Through in-depth interviews, the importance of design elements and catchphrases in job postings as perceived by actual job seekers was confirmed. In conclusion, this study aims to explore how catchphrases in job postings can facilitate smooth communication between companies and job seekers and strengthen corporate image promotion activities. It seeks to provide insights into how companies can effectively utilize catchphrases in job postings according to age and job type in future recruitment processes.

A stoichiometric mixture of evaporating materials for $MnAl_2S_4$ single crystal thin films was prepared from horizontal electric furnace. To obtain the single crystal thin films, $MnAl_2S_4$ mixed crystal was deposited on thoroughly etched semi-insulating GaAs(100) substrate by the Hot Wall Epitaxy (HWE) system. The source and substrate temperatures were $630^{\circ}C$ and $410^{\circ}C$, respectively. The crystalline structure of the single crystal thin films was investigated by the photoluminescence and double crystal X-ray diffraction (DCXD). The temperature dependence of the energy band gap of the $MnAl_2S_4$ obtained from the absorption spectra was well described by the Varshni's relation, $E_g(T)=3.7920eV-5.2729{\times}10^{-4}eV/K)T^2/(T+786 K)$. In order to explore the applicability as a photoconductive cell, we measured the sensitivity (${\gamma}$), the ratio of photocurrent to dark current (pc/dc), maximum allowable power dissipation (MAPD) and response time. The results indicated that the photoconductive characteristic were the best for the samples annealed in S vapour compare with in Mn, Al, air and vacuum vapour. Then we obtained the sensitivity of 0.93, the value of pc/dc of $1.10{\times}10^7$, the MAPD of 316 mW, and the rise and decay time of 14.8 ms and 12.1 ms, respectively.
