The development of technology in modern industrial world which grows and changes every day is shortening the cycle of life span of products, so there is a flood of products around us. It is enough to say that this phenomenon leads to further emphasis on the aspect of design for human being. It is not a new fact that to design for the rational function and the modeling from to make a combination and to satisfy consumers' desire is a short cut to gain competitive superiority in developing new products for MIS security. Therefore the design which plays a leading role in the activity of creating more convenient, more aesthetic, and more econemical products is called 'NEW CORPORATE WEAPON'. The amount of effort made for developing products is different in each company, but recently the plan to develope new products and its process arouse more interest. This thesis purports to improve objective understanding about the development of design by investigating products development research and the process of analysis and designing as a case study on developing a domestic supersonic humidifier. This thesis consists of five chapters in all. In chapter one as a preface, the purpose the method and the scope of the study is described. Chapter two contains my effort to grasp the background of study on the design and the basic structure of supersonic humidifier. Chapter three is an examination into the present conditions of supersonic humidifier used in domestic and foreign area, and the shape of design. In chapter four, a guide for the development of design is established. The idea sketch based on a fundamental shape and the drawing are added to this. In chapter five on the basis of the result of analysis in the preceding research I describe the development of design of products on the premise that marketing gives proof for them but the products oriented by manufacturer are not included in this case. In this thesis, I try to recognize the process of the develpment of design and the importance of the plan for design in developing products by examining an investigative and analytic study on the design of products.

노인들도 사용하기 편한 제품을 디자인하기 위해서는 기존 제품에 대한 노인들을 대상으로 한 실험과정을 통하여 불편한 점을 파악하고, 그러한 불편요소가 해소될 수 있는 방향으로 해당제품이 디자인되어야 한다. 이러한 필요성에 의하여, 본 연구에서는 노인들의 일상생활에서 가장 자주 사용하고 일반적인 제품인 세탁기를 대상으로 디자인과정과 평가과정에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 특히, 측각기와 같은 인간공학 장비를 사용하여 제품의 특정 부분에 대한 조작 편의성 평가를 수행할 수 있는 방법과 그 결과를 디자인에서 어떻게 활용할 수 있는지도 제시 하였다. 또한, 인간공학적 측면에서의 이론과 실험을 통한 디자인 방향과 컨셉의 결정, 디자인안 개발, 디자인안의 평가를 위한 실험, 실제 모델 제작, 사용편의성 측면에서 기존 모델과의 비교평가를 위한 실험 등에 대한 과정이 설명되었다. 연구의 결과는 노인을 위한 세탁기 개발에서의 중요 자료로 활용될 수 있고, 적용된 방법론은 세탁기 뿐만 아니라 다른 가전제품의 노인을 위한 디자인 개발에서도 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

The Smart grid refers to the technology that enables efficient usage of electric power by collecting information concerning the power usage and power lines grafting information and communications technology to onto power grids. There are Zigbee, PLC or IEEE 802.11 WLAN MAC as a core technology of the Smart grid, but in this paper, the discussion is focused on the PLC. The PLC is the technology that carries out data communications using power lines and put into practical use in the field of lights or home appliances control recently but PLC-applied communications between electronic devices are rarely seen. For the reason that the PLC uses high-voltage power lines and has a disadvantage of experiencing higher data loss rate caused by the noises produced by going through transformers, the technology is yet to be used in many areas. Nevertheless, the PLC has been studied widely recently in respect that it's the low-cost communication solution for the Smart Metering [1]. Moreover, this technology is emerging as a novel data communication method and discussed as an important technology lately due to the developments of the Smart grid systems and Internet of things (IoT). Thus, in this paper, the results obtained from designing and performing implementation scenario for the PLC-based Smart grid home network system were compared and analyzed with that of IEEE 802.11 WLAN MAC (the foundation technology at Jeju Smart grid Test bed)-based Smart grid home network. Thus, in this paper, OPNET 14.5 PL8, OSI 7 layer, PLC router nodes and PLC nodes had been used for the designing and implementation simulations of both systems. Additionally, QoS was not considered in order to guarantee that all the traffics would not have the same processing priority.

본 논문은 보다 편리한 가정 생활환경 구축을 목적으로 한 가상대화시스템 구현에 관한 연구이다. 이를 실현하기 위하여 본 논문은 음성인식, 음성합성, 비디오 신호 및 센서신호처리 등의 멀티미디어 신호처리에 그 기술적 기반을 두고 있다. 대화시스템의 중요한 모듈로서의 음성합성기, HM-Net(Hidden Markov Network)에 기반한 실시간 음성인식기, 픽셀의 밝기차를 이용한 실시간 움직임 검출 및 터치센서 등을 대화시스템에 통합함으로써 이루어진다. 실제 구동 실험에서 주위 노이즈 환경의 영향으로 시뮬레이션 결과보다는 성능이 떨어지나, 소파에 앉아있는 동안 자동되는 시스템의 실험 평가에서 가전제품 능의 컨트롤이 비교적 사용하기 쉬웠다는 결과를 얻었다.

사회발전과 더불어 가전기기의 발전은 누전으로 인한 감전, 화재 등 여러 가지 누전전류의 위험성에 노출되어 있다. 가정 내 배전함에 누전차단기가 설치되어 있지만, 기존의 누전차단기는 배전함에 설치되어 누전시 전원을 차단해주는 기능만을 갖는다. 또한 집안 벽마다 설치된 콘센트에 연결된 가전기기들을 개별적으로 점검하는 일은 쉬운 일이 아니다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 누전차단기회로의 성능 및 회로를 분석하고, ZigBee기반의 센서를 이용하여 가정 내 가전기기들의 누전상태를 모니터링 할 수 있는 방법에 대해 제시하였다. 성능분석 결과, 제안된 ELB 누전전류 제어시스템은 가전기기에 내장된 누전차단기 회로를 응용했기 때문에 각각의 가전기기들의 누전상태를 확인할 수 있어 기존 시스템 보다 누전을 쉽고 편리하게 모니터링 할 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.

Dew generation on an outer surface is considered as an important issue to be settled in the field of home appliances. In the case of a refrigerator that is subject to the dew generation problem on the surface of an outer-door of refrigeration thread, and so as to solve this problem, the electric heater is generally used for drying the dew. However, the heater inevitably requires electrical power consumption that is one of critical issues on the refrigerator. In this study, to prevent dew generation without the heater, a method of using induced heat from room temperature was proposed. In edge sides of a door, high conductive plates are installed and received the heat from outside that is relatively high temperature, and the heat is transferred onto dew generation region. Using prototypes, performance test was conducted under a certain temperature and humidity condition. The experimental results show that the surface temperature on the dew generation region was increased about $0.3{\sim}2.5^{\circ}C$ without use of any heater.

비간섭적 개별 전기 기기 부하 식별(NILM)은 단일 미터기에서 측정한 총 소비 전력을 사용하여 가정이나 회사에서 개별 전기 기기의 소비 전력과 사용 시간을 효율적으로 모니터링할 수 있는 방법이다. 본 논문에서는 스마트팜의 소비 전력 데이터 취득 시스템에서 LTE 모뎀을 통해 서버로 수집된 총 소비 전력량, 개별 전기 기기의 전력량을 HDF5 형태로 변환하고 NILM 분석을 수행하였다. NILM 분석은 오픈소스를 사용하여 잡음제거 오토인코더(Denoising Autoencoder), 장단기 메모리(Long Short-Term Memory), 게이트 순환 유닛(Gated Recurrent Unit), 시퀀스-투-포인트(sequence-to-point) 학습 방법을 사용하였다.

스마트 그리드 네트워크(Smart Grid Networks)는 기존의 전력망에 정보기술(IT)을 접목하여 전력 공급자와 소비자가 양방향으로 정보를 교환함으로써 에너지 효율을 최적화하는 차세대 지능형 전력망이다. 고압 전력망과 IT 영역에서 응용되고 있는 스마트 그리드 네트워크(Smart Grid Networks)는 정보의 도청이나, 비정상적 패킷의 유통, 메시지의 재사용등 데이터의 위 변조와같은외부의공격에쉽게노출되는환경에서동작함으로보안은필수적으로갖추어져야 하는 중요한 기능이다. 저전력, 초소형 저비용 장점을 갖는 Zigbee는 스마트 그리드 네트워크를 구현하는 최적의 기술로 주목 받고 있다. 그러나 Zigbee 보안 시스템에는 심각한 문제점들을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 스마트 그리드의 Zigbee 보안 시스템이 가지고 있는 문제점들을 자세히 분석하고, 이를 해결하여 스마트 그리드에 적합한 보안 프로토콜을 새롭게 제안하고 그 효율성을 비교 분석한다.

Most of the furniture in the past was dedicated to its original use such as storage and accommodation of articles or sitting tools, but the concept of furniture in contemporary indoor spaces is gradually increasing in its meaning while exchanging close impacts with other spatial components. Indeed, in contemporary furniture, a component other than furniture constituting a space would sometimes serve the common roles of furniture or sometimes furniture would include all indoor objects used to make people's living more convenient. This study reviewed the meaning of furniture and changes in its roles in contemporary indoor spaces and summarized the characteristics presenting a few examples. First, in contemporary indoor spaces, furniture as an independent object does not having a meaning any more. The fusion of functions with other components constituting indoor spaces is the most important characteristics in contemporary furniture and it has been already attempted in diverse ways through fusion with buildings surpassing fusion with other pieces of furniture or electric home appliances. Second, the arrangement conforming to the roles required by spaces and diverse forms of attempts are essential. Since furniture is an item the most closely related to human residential life, studies on human behaviors in spaces must precede. The efforts to enhance work efficiencies and used limited spaces more efficiently will be continued and explorations of new forms should be also continued. Third, with regards to manufacturing methods, new technologies should be applied more widely and furniture materials must be diversified through the use of new materials including not only cutting-edge new materials but also all the materials that can be applied to furniture such as conventional natural materials and environment friendly materials that can be recycled.

The exchange rate volatility has been increased since the time when the floating exchange rate system was introduced in Korea. As a result, the increase of the exchange rate volatility raised the risk in international trades in Korea. The purpose of this study in to study the feature of exchange rate volatility and the main sources of its increase and to confirm whether the exchange rate volatility influence export volume and price of Korea. In the first place, I measured exchange rate volatility with two methods. The one is descriptive statistic method such as the width of daily exchange rate fluctuation and the rate of exchange rate devaluation. The other is the time varying conditional variance of exchange rate. Then, I studied the sources of exchange rate volatility. In the second place, I defined the exchange rate volatility as the time varying conditional variance and estimated it by using elastic a approach model which shows exchange rate is affected by itself and its conditional variance, I estimated its effects on export volumes and prices of electric home appliances, information & communication equal and semi-conductor. The result of this study is as follows. With presumed result EU and Korea because is not the goods which is to substantial competition relationship, The effect where the relative value change of presumed result expression anger and the dollar of import and export function goes mad to the import and export of Korea the income compared to is to export and it is appearing a lot. The EU goods is sold more expensively the Korean goods than from about length being caused by American market of the dollar and the balance of trade of Korea is visible like being visible the improvement of single breadth. Because the relationship of competition is weak but substantially there is to a short term and expression - the effect where the dollar rate fluctuation is big in Korean trade there is a possibility of saying that widely known it is not.
