가공송전선로 점검 및 진단기술에 대한 해외기술동향 (New Technical Trend of Inspection and Test of Transmission Line)

  • Recently, a new construction of transmission line has been through quite hard situation due to demands for a new construction of transmission line have been saturated in south korea and also difficulties of purchasing the routes. In addition, the demands for electricity have been decreased in all of advanced countries of the world due to slowdown of the rate of economic growth. So they are trying to find a way to utilize a existing transmission line by extending the durable period. Therefore this is necessary to apply an applicable technology on domestic markets such as inspection, examination, maintenance of existing transmission lines by introducing advanced countries's example which shall be based on Japan's electric power companies.

회로 차단기 절연파괴로 인한 직류 전기철도 화재 사고사례 분석 (Analysis of Fire Accident on DC Electric Traction Vehicles Caused by Breakdown in the Line Breaker)

  • Fire or electrical problem while DC electric traction vehicle operation caused by various reasons can lead to not only suspension of the operation, but also severe aftermath such as massive casualty. In this paper, fire analysis on DC electric traction vehicle caused by electrical breakdown on line breaker, which is in connection with the power supply, is presented. When the electric arc, the by-product of frequent line breaker operation, is not fully diminished, it leads to electrical breakdown and fire. Especially, electrical breakdown can be easily induced by the open-and-close operation of inner contractor inside line breaker, eventually followed by ground fault and generation of transient current. Electric arc is consequent on the ground fault and acts as possible ignition source, leading to fire. Also, during the repetitive operation of the line breaker, the contactor is separated each other and some copper powder is generated, and the copper powder provided breakdown path, resulting in fire.

  • These days, it is not easy to construct the transmission line because of the environmental association activity, a civil appeal, etc. To solve these kinds of difficulties, the program with leading-edge IT technology, such as GIS, 3 dimensions CAD, computer graphic, etc., is developed to be more transparent and objective in the design stage of the transmission line and the selection stage of the transmission line route. Comparing this program with previous methods, this program is composed of the environmental evaluation program, data producing program for analysis and selecting line route program because it is not possible to conduct those kinds of work without any help from the computer and well-developed program. To confirm the performance of the program, the result from the program and the human were compared. Therefore, the result from the program was same as the result conducted by human. In addition, the program makes the selection of the transmission line route easier by checking the mountainside, lumbering, the estimated cost of the tower construction, etc. in real-time.

실증시험선로를 이용한 도체귀로형 HVDC ±500 kV Double Bipole 가공송전선로의 이온류 특성 평가 (Ion Effects of HVDC ±500 kV Double Bipole Overhead Transmission Line with Metallic Return Conductor Using Full-scale Test Line)

  • 국내에 향후 건설 예정인 도체귀로형 HVDC ±500 kV Double Bipole 가공송전선로의 최적선로 형상을 설계하고 송전선로에서 발생되는 전기환경장해를 검증하기 위해 실증시험장을 구축하여 1년간 전기환경장해 평가시험을 수행하였다. 또한, HVDC Double Bipole 실선로에서 인체의 지표면 전계인지도 평가시험을 통해 HVDC 실규모 실증선로 직하에서 인체가 직류 전계를 감지하는 임계값을 조사하여 HVDC ±500 kV Double Bipole 가공송전선로의 직류전계 설계기준안의 타당성을 검증하였다. HVDC ±500 kV Double Bipole 시험선로의 극형상은 전기환경장해와 운영관점에서 동일한 극성을 대각으로 배치하였으며, 국내 가공송전선로의 전기환경장해의 사회적인 수용성을 고려하여 선로에서 코로나방전이 거의 발생되지 않도록 소도체 방식은 6 도체를 선정하였다. 도체귀로형 HVDC ±500 kV Double Bipole 가공송전선로 방식인 Cardinal×6B를 적용한 실증시험결과, 선로 도체에서 코로나 방전이 거의 발생되지 않았으며, 따라서 지표면 전계와 이온전류밀도는 모두 국내 가공송전선로 설계 기준값을 만족하였다. 또한 선로직하에서 피조사자들에 대한 전계 인지도 평가결과, 피조사자들의 70%는 23 kV/m에 노출되어도 직류전계를 인지하지 못하는 결과를 나타냈다.

  • Polymeric suspended insulators for the electric track line have been developed. The main elements to design polymeric insulators are the insulation ability related with materials of FRP core and housing, and the optimal structure related with fitting parts and interface characteristics. To confirm the design fitness of insulator samples the electric field distribution by FEM and mechanical stress distribution by NASTRAN program was analysed with housing shed shapes and fitting structure. The leakage distance and breakage voltage properties which are core parameters to determine electric insulation ability are selected according to the requirement values of user specification, then the power frequency wet withstand voltage was specified above 22kV and the leakage distance was required above 290mm. The contamination condition of the electric track line was the heavy class according to IEC 815 in order to retain the enough safety margin against overvoltages.

Wireless Power Transfer Technology in On-Line Electric Vehicle

  • The On-line Electric Vehicle (OLEV) is an electric transport system in which the vehicle's power is transferred wirelessly from power lines underneath the surface of the road. Advantages of the OLEV include reducing battery size and cost to about 20 percent of that of conventional battery-powered electric vehicles, thereby minimizing the vehicle's weight and price, as well as the cost of charging the system. In this paper, we introduce a wireless power transfer mechanism to maximize the electrical performance of the power transfer system. Power transfer capacity, power transfer efficiency, and magnitude of leakage in the electromagnetic field (EMF) are analyzed, and the optimization methodology of the design parameters is discussed.

기존선 가동브래킷 곡선 당김 금구의 완충기능 필요성 (A Need of Buffering Function for Full-Off Fitting on Movable Bracket using Conventional Line)

  • The Full-Off Fitting of Movable Bracket using conventional line have received a dynamic contact impact between contact wire and pantograph of electric rolling stock, so this impact cause a rapid vibration of foreword and back near the supporting point of movable bracket. The Full-Off Fitting on Movable Bracket in conventional line differs from that in high speed line. Now conventional line have required a speed up for new electric locomotive and electric car. In speed-up track and big impact place, the Full-Off Fitting and the dropper often get demage. We have done a study of buffering function to solve that problem in conventional line. We have find a need adopting buffer fitting. It is decrease a dynamic impact between contact wire and pantograph of electric rolling stock.

EMTP 시뮬레이션을 통한 배전선로의 1선 지락 사고시 화재 조사 기법에 관한 연구 (A Study on Fire Investigation Technique For Single Line to Ground Faults in Distribution Line Using EMTP Simulation)

  • Approximately 20% of the total fire is electrical fire, and electrical energy is a potential source of heat. Large-scale fault currents that occur during a line ground fault flow into electric utility poles, electric power equipment, or electric appliances of the customer, and cause simultaneous electrical fire. In this paper, we investigated the possibility of fire through the change of fault current flowing in faulty and sound feeder in case of 1 line ground fault in 22.9 kV distribution line. We propose a fire investigation analysis method for simultaneous multiple electrical fire such as evidence analysis method, and fault current occurrence confirmation method in case of fire accident by analyzing the fault current occurring in the ground fault in the distribution line using EMTP, electric power system analysis program.

전력선통신을 위한 고압 배전선로의 방사전계강도 계산 (Calculation of Radiative Electric Field Intensity of Overhead Medium-Voltage Power lines for Power Line Communication)

  • 본 논문에서는 전력선 통신을 위해 사용되는 고압 배전선로에서 통신신호 및 잡음신호에 의해 방사되는 방사전계강도를 계산하였다. 전력선 통신 네트워크의 2포트 등가모델 및 기본적인 전송선로 이론을 이용해 입력임피던스를 계산하였다. 그리고 계산된 입력임피던스를 이용해 전력선상 전류를 계산하고 최종적으로 방사전계강도를 계산하였다. 전력선의 특성임피던스가 매우커서 입력 단에서의 반사가 심하기 때문에 입력임피던스는 일정한 주기를 가지는 정재파 형태를 가진다. 계산된 전류 및 방사전계 또한 이러한 형태임을 알 수 있었다. 실제 측정한 결과계산 치와 측정치가 매우 유사함을 알 수 있었다.

  • Pantograph of the electric train is the important part receiving current by adhereing contact wire. Wearing rate of pantograph or contact wire is changed by the type of pantograph and material of adhering part. In special, the weather influences the relative wearing rate and wearing type of pantograph Slider and Contact wire with steep wearing in arc and life cycle of pantograph slider. Presently, the weather causes side-wearing and over-wearing of pantograph slide installed in electric train. So it is difficult to manage and operate the electric train. Although the quality of slide using in line4 vehicle was finished the test in line 2 vehicle experimentally, it has to apply after pantograph is installed in some electric trains and check the influence in it and contact wire. It is because line4 section is very different from line2 section. Experimental application is the sequence to certify the safety and abrasion resistance importantly by enlarging experimental application with increase of the experimental electric train. The lenth of line4 in Seoul Metro is 71.5[km]. It is long section. The line is mixed DC 1,500[V] section and AC 25,000[V] section. It has underground section of 41.5[km] and ground section of 30[km]. Ground section is about 42% and receives much influence in the rain during the rainy season. After experimental application we found that this pantograph slide has twice as much abrasion resistance despite a little deviation and found the occurrence probability of arc and side-wearing is decreased considerably.
