This paper is structured into three main parts and a conclusion. The main section provide definitions of efficiency, effectiveness and performance in terms of the distribution channel, followed by a review of related performance measurement, before discussing difficulties of measurement. According to the theoretical approach, it appears that key theroretical issues are centered around customer service, logistics excellence, time compression, the use of IT, and a move towards integrated logistics. The empirical approach shows that in the past, various financial performance indicators were regarded as relevant management information. However, today, management needs additional performance indicators. Therefore, external assessments of effectiveness must be performed to measure customers' satisfaction with the physical flow of product through the distribution channel network. So, what is needed is to take previous normative and explorative research and progress through a framework by developing valid measures of distribution channel's effectiveness and efficiency, and identifying research methodologies suited to the data collection requirements.

Organizational effectiveness has long been the most central topic of organizational research, but the concept is not only capable of various operational definitions depending on the purpose of the study, but it is an uncertain concept composed of various measurement elements. In this review, we identified measurement variables by type of research subjects such as public organizations, private organizations, research organizations, and production organizations, and examined job satisfaction and organizational commitment, which were the most studied sub-variables.

This paper presents a formalized methodology for conducting cost-effectiveness analysis on the ROK Navy's maritime patrol aircraft. The methodology involves a Delphi method application for determining the group of appraisal variables as well as their weight values in the area of aircraft effectiveness analysis, Life-cycle costing was employed to produce cost in terms of present worth values of all costs that occur over the common 20-year life cycle. A wide range of experts was selected so that their opinions could be effectively collected and synthesized to form the framework of the effectiveness model. Such a model development strategy provides easy acceptance of the analysis result and assure fairness of the analysis.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the use of elements related to the competitive intelligence(CI) process, methods, and infrastructure in accordance with the degree of CI effectiveness of domestic firms and to propose a guideline for designing and operating an effective CI program in Korean films. The results of this study reveal that, for the elevation of CI effectiveness of Korean firms, it is important to actively utilize the overall CI process, including undisclosed information through human networks, public information through various media, and quantitative and qualitative analyses, an independent CI unit, various CI support systems, such as information and reward systems, and organizational culture of CI openness within an organization. However, CI outsourcing, CI primary objectives, and CI scale do not seem to have a significant influence on CI effectiveness of Korean firms. Based on these results, this research presents some important implications for effective competitive intelligence for Korean firms.

KJCCS(Korean Joint Command & Control System) is a system that integrate each military tactics C4ISR into JCS(Joint Chiefs of Staff) level. It is established in major CP(Commanding Post) and provides all battlefield situation in real time by sharing that between connection troops. The objective of this study is to suggest a way for the measurement of force improvement effectiveness of KJCCS. C2 model is applied to measure force improvement effectiveness of KJCCS. This study will be also present a requirement logic for C4ISR system acquisition later.

The goal of this study is to determine which is the better bomb; a general purpose bomb or a special bomb, from the point of view of cost-effectiveness of air munitions. What we call the special bomb is a laser guided bomb which adds a guidance control unit on the head of a general purpose bomb. Althrough their characteristics of explosion are the same, their effectivenesses are very defferent due to their probability of hitting the targets. Now, in order to measure their relative a effectiveness, we could select various enemy targets such as runway, radar, and then Ive could also calculate requirments of both bombs and firghter aircraft sorties according to the desired damage level of each target, Following above steps, we can derive the total costs and compare effectiveness. As a results of this study, when the attrition rate of aircraft is under $1.1\%$, the general purpose bomb is better than the laser guided bomb. Above $1.1\%$ attrition rate, we could say that luser guided bomb is the most economical bomb.

Cycle simulation is peformed for two types of the desiccant cooling system incorporating a regenerative evaporative cooler. The cooling capacity and COP are evaluated at various effectiveness values of the regenerative evaporative cooler, the desiccant rotor and the sensible heat exchanger. As either of the effectiveness of the regenerative evaporative cooler or the humidity effectiveness of the desiccant rotor increases, both the cooling capacity and COP increase, but the enthalpy leak ratio gives the opposite effect on the system performance. It is found that COP of cycle A mainly depends on the humidity effectiveness of the desiccant rotor, while for cycle B enthalpy leak ratio of desiccant rotor has the major impact on COP. The effect of the sensible heat exchanger on the cooling capacity is small about 1/10 compared with those of other components.

The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral therapy to prevent relapse of substance abuse. A total of 8 substance abusing adult clients participated in the program. All the clients were charged with substance use at the time of implementing the program. Two master's level social workers operated the program, which was implemented in a probation office in Seoul. This study included Beliefs about substance use, abstinence self-efficacy, and coping skills as dependent variables in order to investigate the effectiveness. Cognitive-behavioral therapy emphasizes the enhancement of these cognitive and behavioral skills to prevent relapse of substance use. Research hypotheses were partially supported. That is, clients participated in the program had more negative attitude toward substance use and had more effective problem-focused coping skills. Although a research hypothesis of the enhancement of clients' self efficacy was not supported, their mean scores at the final post test were lower than scores at pretest. This study suggests that more studies be needed to in order to confirm the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral therapy with substance abusing clients.

This paper deals with the mission effectiveness of an airfleet, Airfleet operating system consists of a finite number of units performing the several mission types. Earlier works for the mission effectiveness of a fleet is limited to only one mission type and computer simulation approaches. The mission effectiveness. model of a fleet is constructed by three attributes - the mission readiness of the units, the mission reliability and capability of units. The environmental conditions and human factors affecting the mission success are considered together. The solution of the model is obtained by analytical technique. Especially, AOS is considered a closed queueing network with a finite number of units and a single job class. And then, the mission readiness of the units is found by the mean value analysis. The model would be a useful tool to readily evaluate mission effectiveness of a airfleet as it is and provide a criterion for determining the optimal operating policy.

In this paper, the effects of educational contents on job behavior, the effects of job behavior on job effectiveness and the effects of educational contents on job effectiveness were studied when working in the Software field. For this purpose, a questionnaire survey was conducted on the learning workers who conducted the training in the IT field, and 302 valid questionnaires were used for the analysis. The research model was set up to test exploratory factor and confirmatory factor analysis and hypothesis, and the research hypothesis was tested by applying structural equation. The effects of job behavior on job effectiveness were positively related to job satisfaction, customer orientation, and organizational commitment.
