Along side with the rapid growth of local governments' advertising bills, there are few studies focused on the effectiveness of these ads. Especially one of the media being used by the local governments is the Korea Express Train (KTX), where they advertise in the train coaches' KTX video monitor. Unfortunately the ads in KTX are exposed without audio mostly. The current study, therefore, probed on the effectiveness of these ads. This study utilized transportation theory and content analysis methodology to give insight to its discourse. We established two analysis units (camera and subtitles), and then analyzed 107 local government ads. From the camera analysis, it is observed that local governments' festival and tour promotion ads more often employ dynamic angles such as drone shot and long shot. Also, from subtitles usage analysis, it is observed that many of the ads make use of large size titles and subtitles which could prevent viewers seeing visual shots. In the special case audio-less KTX ads, this study recommends emphasis on subtitles which will enhance the ad effectiveness of the ad messages.

In this paper, we propose the role of job crafting in the relationship between leadership and organizational effectiveness in voluntarily carrying out each member's assigned tasks. This study surveyed the manufacturing, construction, service industries in Seoul and Gyeonggi province, identified the type of leadership they recognized, and empirically analyzed the organizational effectiveness of leadership. The purpose of this paper is to grasp the types of leadership acknowledged by the industry of manufacturing, construction, and service, and also to empirically analyze the organizational effectiveness of the leadership. The study measures the organizational effectiveness in terms of the job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and organizational citizenship behavior while classifying the leadership into coaching leadership, transformational leadership, and sensible leadership. In addition, the strictness of the analysis is imposed by estimating the simple least square model and ranking probit model. The results of the least square model is summarized as the following. Regardless of the different defining terms of organizational effectiveness, transformational leadership was shown to have the greatest organizational effectiveness. Sensible leadership positively effected job satisfaction whereas coaching leadership positively effected job satisfaction and organizational effectiveness. Compared to transformational leadership and coaching leadership, the impact of the sensible leadership was very much limited. The result of the ranking probit model is summarized as the following. First, sensible leadership had a positive impact on the member's job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Second, regarding the organizational citizenship behavior, coaching leadership showed greater impact than transformational leadership. This results contradicts the results from the simple least square model. If similar studies were to be conducted in the future, two models and the results must be compared. Third, as the leadership score increases by 1 point, there is greater possibility of having more than 4 points for all job satisfaction, organizational commitment, organizational citizenship behavior. Lastly, the analysis proves that job crafting has the mediation effect between the leadership and organizational effectiveness.
The objective of this study is to present a basis for the evaluation on the renewable energy dissemination program in Korea applying the outcome evaluation, one of the five types of evaluation methods of EERE, DOE, and the effectiveness indicator, which is suggested by IEA, OECD. The outcome evaluation quantifies achievements of program outputs and outcomes against planned time frame. We analyze the correlation coefficients between cumulative expenditure on the renewable energy dissemination program and each renewable energy deployment and the unit installation cost of several dissemination programs for the outcome evaluation. Meanwhile, the effectiveness indicator is calculated by dividing the additional renewable energy deployment achieved in a given year by the remaining mid-term realizable potential to 2020 in each source of renewable energy. The results show that correlation coefficients between cumulative expenditure and each renewable energy deployment are significantly positive during the implementation period of each deployment program. And photovoltaic energy, bio energy, and wind power energy show high effectiveness indicator.

There is no absolute leadership through East and West. Just as past and present conditions are not the same, it is not easy for past leadership to apply to the present. The best leadership will be the leadership that can represent and lead the changing situation. In that sense, the creative leadership is the most appropriate leadership required by the present age. In the society, research on creative leadership is actively conducted in schools and companies, but there is no research on creative leadership in the military. This is the first study in the military about creative leadership. It is meaningful to understand the understanding of creative leadership and the applicability of the military and to provide a basis for future research. First, we measured the organizational effectiveness of creative leadership. The data were analyzed by factor analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis using SPSS 18.0. The results of this study were as follows. First, the organizational effectiveness of creative leadership and organizational goals and achievement were measured, and it was found that there was significant influence on the relationship between creative leadership and organizational effectiveness. I could confirm some. This would be meaningful in that it suggested the possibility of applying the leadership of the creative leadership to lead the change of society and to implement the military command.
The $4^{th}$ industrial revolution has brought innovation in the educational environment. The purpose of this study is to verify the educational effectiveness of smart learning environment especially with the computational thinking. A big data analysis was performed to confirm that computational thinking is the one to prepare the 4th industrial revolution. To teach computational thinking at university, educational design should be careful. This study verified the relationship between improvement of computational thinking ability and major of students with coding education. There was difference in effectiveness of the coding education depending on the major of students, it means students must be guaranteed to be educated by the differentiated coding education for different major. This study extracted factors of computational thinking through literature review. Thirteen research hypotheses were applied for the statistical analysis in R language. It was proved that expectation of class and improvement of abstraction ability and algorithmic thinking ability had mediation effect to the relationship between knowledge acquisition and problem-solving abilities. Based on this study, effectiveness of education can be improved, and it will lead to produce a lot of distinguished students who are ready for the 4th industrial revolution.
The objective of this study is to analyze the research articles on clinical social work practice effectiveness to build a scientific and scholaristic image of clinical social work practice. The data for analysis were the articles published in 13 professional journals including Korean J. of Social Welfare in the period of 1979 to 1999. The appearance rate of effectiveness studies was 1.28% with only 18 articles. Experimental studies consisted only 4 out of 18, and there were only 10 Quasi-experimental studies. Statistical errors were observed in most studies, so it is too early to call that the clinical social work practice is either effective or not effective. In order to see the comprehensive trends of the clinical social work practice, other clinical papers were also examined. The appearance rate was also as low as 8.75% (effectiveness studies included). While 18 articles were about the therapy model, other clinical papers were about generic practice models. However, those newly developed generic practice models had not yet been widely used nor tested for effectiveness. Thus, the followings were suggested: active research activities with solid methodology, team work with the field, theory and method development, education and re-education, and collaborative team work with other related fields. It was also pointed that the cross analysis of research papers by the publishing period, authors major and other background variables would be useful.

Directed energy weapon enables to radiate the concentrated energy so as to result in distraction and overload of the target electronics. Analysis on effectiveness of weapon system can be important consideration in order to determine performance and design weapon system. In this paper, air defense weapon system, which is one of directed energy weapon system is studied. In order to analyze the effectiveness, the reflector antenna with high power circularly polarized horn antenna is designed, and power density in axial effective area is simulated and calculated using Friis formula. Through the study, the validity of antenna system is verified, and the effectiveness of directed energy weapon system on the target is evaluated.
In the merged organization, the efforts of integration such as various PMI activities, etc. are exerted and the performance of PMI can be judged by evaluating the effectiveness of an organization. In this paper, the empirical analysis was conducted to see what effects of 'planned PMI activities' and 'voluntary integration efforts' have on the effectiveness of an organization which is 'Organizational Commitment', 'Job Satisfaction', 'Emotional Integration' and 'Shared Value Recognition'. The survey was made on the employees of LH, which is a representative case of public corporation advancement, and SPSS 17.0 and AMOS 17 were used for the analysis. As a result of the analysis of a structural equation model, it indicated that both 'planned PMI activities' and 'voluntary integration efforts' have direct influence on 4 indices of effectiveness of an organization respectively. In particular, it was found that 'planned PMI activities' affects 'Shared Value Recognition' the most and 'voluntary integration efforts' has the largest effect on 'Emotional Integration'. Through this study, it was verified that voluntary integration efforts of members as well as the planed formal PMI activities are also very important factor of effect on the integration performance of an organization.
The purpose of this study is to identify the influence of the high performance and the work system recognized by the organizational members participating in the NCS enterprise utilization consulting on the organizational effectiveness and the influence of the organizational performance. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, the research hypotheses were verified by applying multiple regression analysis and co-integration regression analysis on the 145 usable results from using the statistical program of SPSS 24.0. The results of this study are as follows. First, hypothesis 1, the analysis of positive(+) influence on organizational effectiveness on the characteristics of the system (selection system, evaluation and compensation, education and training opportunity, member participation system, job stability) was adopted due to its' positive(+) and significant relationship. Second, hypothesis 2, an analysis that the organizational effectiveness would have a positive impact on organizational performance was adopted due to its' proven work. However, its' effectiveness will need verification. Third, regression analysis was conducted to confirm the role of the hypothesis 3, personnel management effectiveness, between the high performance and the work system (selection system, evaluation/compensation, education/training opportunity, member participation system, job stability). As a result, Hypothesis 3 showed that the selection system (H3-1), evaluation and compensation(H3-2), education and career opportunities(H3-3), member participation system(H3-4), job stability(H3-4) showed that organizational effectiveness has a moderating role in HR effectiveness. The main implication of this study is that the positive and working system recognized by the organizational members has positive affects on organizational effectiveness and organizational performance. In order to enhance the substantiality management system through improvement of organizational performance, a regular implementation plan on a high-performance working system along with education & training system to improve organizational effectiveness is required so that the members of the organization could form a consensus. Second, as a result of confirming the moderating effects of HR management effectiveness, the moderating role of HR management system and organization effectiveness was verified positive. Therefore, this study shows that the part that verifies both organizational effectiveness and organizational performance through high-performance working system and the part that confirmed the role of control between high-performance work system and organizational effectiveness are the biggest difference from the previous research.
The purpose of this study is to provide with basic information on application of hand acupuncture as a complementary and alternative therapy by giving some recognition of efficiency and effectiveness of hand acupuncture. And so, answers for questionnaires of 290 respondents were used for this research and collected from June 5 through 13, 1999 from adults twenty and over who were participating in the hand acupuncture training program in Seoul and had some direct experiences with hand acupuncture therapy, whatever they had been treated and/or had treated. To secure reliability of measurement tool. Cronbach'a has been calculated and Factor Analysis was done as Validity Analysis of question classification. Demograprucal characteristics of hand acupuncture experienced people and factors related to hand acupuncture experiences are calculated based on the real number and percentage. The degree of recognition of efficiency and effectiveness of hand acupuncture is made as average and standard deviation, while the degree of recognition of efficiency and effectiveness based on general characteristics come from one-way ANOVA. 1. According to socio-demographical analysis. the questioned could be classified firstly as age (40-49 : 32.5%. 30-39 : 24.9%. 50-59 : 21.9%. 60-69 : 14.7%. 20-29 : 6.0%). secondly gender (male 36.6%. female 63.4%). thirdly occupation (housewife: 43.8%. self-employed: 15.5%. company-employee: 14.8%). fourthly education (high school graduate: 41.9%, college graduate: 37.9%), and lastly monthly-income (1 to 2 million: 51.4%. 2 to 3 million: 20,3%) 2, As for the general aspects related to hand acupuncture. 80,0% of the respondents answered almost zero for the monthly average number of visit to hospital and 15.5% responded 1 to 2 visits, 6,2% of the respondents is complaining of a disorder of digestive system. 19,0% circulatory disease, 10.7% bad nervous system. By utilizing hand acupuncture, 84% of the questioned have following experiences in curing diseases: digestive system 47.3%, circulatory system 9.3%, nervous system 8.3%, 54,1% are curing 1 to 2 and 10.3% 3 to 4 patients on a daily basis with hand acupuncture. Research on the demerits of giving medical treatment with hand acupuncture shows 23,8% are feeling economic burden. 16.6% difficulty of learning and 16.2% weak theoretical backgrounds. 3.
