프로그램 교육목표 평가도구 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Tool Development for Evaluating Program Education Objectives(PEOs))

  • 공학교육인증시스템에서 프로그램 교육목표란 졸업생이 졸업 후 3~4년 후에 달성하어야 할 목표로 정의를 하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 한국기술교육대학교 정보통신정공에서 설정하고 있는 교육목표가 산업 현장에서 얼마나 중요하며 어느 정도 달성되었는지를 평가하기위한 평가도구로 간접평가 방법에 의한 설문문항을 개발하고 제시한다. 제안된 설문문항을 사용하여 졸업생 및 산업체 고용주들을 대상으로 설문조사를 통하여 교육목표 중요도 및 달성도를 평가하여 보았다. 조사결과 글로벌역량과 관련된 부분이 부족한 것으로 나타나고 있으며 이를 개선하기 위한 다양한 교육과정 개선이 필요하다고 판단된다.

학점인정제를 통한 간호학사학위 취득을 위한 간호교육과정 (A study on a nursing curriculum after a basic 3-year diploma course for the baccalaureate degree)

  • For the development of nursing curriculum after the completion of a basic program, this study was conducted by comparing the 4-year baccalaureate degree program with the 3-year diploma program. The results are as follows: 1. The curriculum of the 4-year baccalaureate and 3-year diploma program are similar to each other in philosophy, educational objectives, and practical experience. However, advanced nursing courses in practical experience were taught by the 4-year baccalaureate degree program only. 2. For the development of a more advanced and effective curriculum, the 3-year diploma program should concentrate on nursing core courses (80 credits) such as 'adult nursing' 'maternal nursing' 'pediatric nursing' 'psychiatric nursing' 'community health nursing' 'fundamentals of nursing' 'managerial nursing'. Furthermore, nursing related courses (20 credits) and liberal education courses (20 credits) should also be offered by the 3-year diploma program. 3. This nursing curriculum should be conducted by registered nurses who have graduated from a 3-year diploma program. The nursing educational philosophy and the educational objectives of this curriculum are the same as the 4-year program recommended by the Korean Nurses Association. This curriculum consists of 2 parts: advanced nursing courses and liberal education courses. The advanced nursing courses (20 credits) include 'nursing theory(4 credits)' 'nursing research(4 credits)' 'nursing leadership(4 credits)' 'nursing curriculum{4 credits)' and 'seminar of nursing issues(4 credits)' total is 40 credits.

  • 프로그램 교육목표는 졸업생이 졸업 후 2~3년 내에 달성하어야 할 능력과 자질로 정의를 하고 있다. 교육목표 평가는 교육과정 운영에 대한 전략적 사고 및 CQI 활용 요소 도출을 위해 IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis) 기법을 적용하는데 IPA 기법은 X축과 Y축에 2개의 개념을 적용시켜 4개의 매트릭스를 만들어 현재의 위치를 확인하여 우선적인 개선분야를 파악하는데 유용한 분석 방법이다. 본 논문에서는 설정된 교육목표가 산업 현장에서 얼마나 중요하며 어느 정도 달성되었는지를 평가하기 위한 평가도구로 간접평가 방법에 의한 설문문항을 개발하고 제시한다. 또한, 개발된 간접평가 방법을 활용하여 교육목표의 중요도 및 달성 정도를 IPA 기법을 적용하여 분석을 하였다.

프로그램 교육목표 개선을 위한 수행문제분석 및 추진전략 수립 (Performance Problems Analysis and Establishment of Action Strategies for Program Educational Objective Improvement)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze performance problems in establishing and improving program educational objectives (PEO) and to set up action strategies for the civil engineering program at the A university. To fulfill the purpose, according to the typical needs analysis model, research problems were defined, current conditions and desired conditions were identified, discrepancies and their reasons were examined, and action strategies were derived. Current conditions and desired conditions were identified by analyzing the A civil engineering program's self study report, conducting surveys and interviews with constituents. After the discrepancies and the reasons were examined, performance problems and field force analysis were conducted to draw short term and long term action strategies to improve PEO. Short term action strategies were to announce PEO to current students, to hold faculty seminars to establish and to improve PEO, to renew the list of constituents regularly, to composite an annual milestone, to define roles of the committees, and to enforce educational opportunity toward industrial advisory board members. For the long term strategies, improvement and documentation of PEO assessment system, collection and analysis of constituents' suggestions, establishment of effective accreditation support system, and arrangement of compensation system for the faculties who are in charge of engineering education accreditation responsibility.

중학교 과학 교과서의 단원평가문항 분석 (An Analysis of Unit Evaluation Items in Middle School Science Textbooks)

  • 본 연구는 2009 개정 과학과 교육과정에 근거한 중학교 과학 교과서의 산염기 및 산화 환원 단원의 문항을 블룸의 교육목표 분류틀을 이용하여 분석한 것이다. 분석 결과 모든 출판사의 교과서 문항에서는 지식 영역의 요소가 가장 많이 나타났으며, 이해, 적용, 분석, 종합, 평가 순으로 그 요소는 적게 나타났다. 그리고 출판사에 따라 각 문항에 나타난 인지 영역의 하위 영역이 골고루 포함되지 않았다. 그래서 학교에서는 다양한 출판사의 교과서 단원평가 문항을 참조하여 수업에 이용할 필요가 있다.

보건간호인력 교육훈련 현황과 발전 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development Plan of Education & Training for Public Health Nursing Personnel)

  • Purpose: This study evaluated the education and training for public health nursing personnel and we suggest a development plan for their education and training. Methods: The data was collected from the annual planning reports of the Department of Health and Welfare Training in the Korea National Institute of Health from 1985 to 2004. Results: The summary of problems on the education and training included 1) unspecific educational goals and objectives, 2) a shortage of education and training programs for improving practical skills and knowledge on health promotion and chronic disease management, and 3) ineffective teaching methods based on lecture. In order to overcome these problems, education & training for public health nursing personnel should 1) establish dear and specific goals and objectives, 2) develop educational programs that focus on the trainee's needs and develop a long term educational program for reinforcing practical competency along with elementary courses for novices & advanced courses for experts, 3) utilize effective teaching methods such as case study, e-learning and applied learning programs. Conclusion: The education and training for public health nursing personnel should be improved in order to reinforce their competency and their ability to cope with the changing health care environment of the 21st century.

간호교육을 통하여 학생들에게 육성해야하는 능력에 대한 고찰 - 학제 및 일반적인 대학교육과의 차이를 중심으로 - (Study of Abilities Required to Develop for Student in Nursing Education)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify key abilities needed to develop for student nurses. Methods: A methodological research design was used in this study. The abilities for student nurses were developed through literature review and educational objectives analysis of 60 nursing colleges in Korea. Results: Finally, the abilities required to develop for student nurses in higher education were 8 cluster of abilities and 19 abilities such as problem solving ability, relationship ability, professional ability, ability in information processing, globalization, voluntary service. Conclusion: To perceive and achieve abilities for student nurses in higher education has to be needed a systematic approach in setting objectives, to improve curriculum and to develop program and educational methods.

Designing Service-learning Courses through the Analysis of Service-learning Course Syllabi and Faculty Survey

  • This study explored the consistency in service-learning courses through comparing course syllabi and faculty survey in order to incorporate a service-learning course into the Home Economics practicum. The first step was to examine how consistent were between the reasons for choice of service-learning and importance of overall civic learning goals, between the importance of civic learning goals and educational objectives on syllabus, and between planned activities and accomplished activities. This study collected the descriptive and quantitative data from the syllabi for service-learning courses and a faculty survey at Texas Tech University. The major findings were that there was meaningful consistency between: the reasons for choosing service-learning and the importance of overall civic learning goals, the importance of civic learning goals and educational objectives, and planned activities on syllabus assignment and accomplished activities on the faculty survey related to course components. Future research regarding service-learning course design would be required in detail, and practice in designing service-learning courses would be consistent between the syllabus and performance in actual courses.

암환자를 위한 모바일 앱용 네비게이션프로그램 개발 (Development of Navigation Program for Cancer Patients using Mobile application)

  • Objectives: The objectives of this research were to develop and evaluate a mobile application for navigation program for cancer patients who might experience some difficulties in obtaining and understanding further schedules, directions due to flooding information at a time and scattered educational materials. Methods: A mobile application was developed an educational mobile app for cancer patients based on a systematic instructional design model called ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. The developed application was evaluated by 76 users through a questionnaire of satisfaction. Results: A mobile app contains educational contents for cancer patients, based on their satisfaction, demand and knowledge about cancer education and information services. It contains management of symptoms, management of my schedule, and information about chemotherapy, FAQ, symptoms dangerous enough to contact the hospital, personal history about how to overcome cancer, hospital convenience facilities and education schedule of cancer center. A result of the evaluation of user's satisfaction showed 59.4% responding 'Satisfied' and 27.4% 'Very satisfied'. Conclusion: The personalized information and education contents for cancer patients by using the mobile application was given to cancer patient and then educational outcomes became more effective. The development of the application which persons can use regardless of time and place enables health care providers to acquire the foundation of the patients-oriented educational system. Education satisfaction and knowledge level was increased, after using mobile application.

창의적 정보과학영재 양성을 위한 교육과정 개발 (Development of a Curriculum for the Cultivating the Creative Gifted and Talented Children of Informatics)

  • 지금까지 개발된 기존의 정보과학영재 교육과정은 교육목표 설정이 추상적이며 일선 현장에서 직접적으로 활용하기 어려운 상황이다. 특히 2005년 한국교육개발원의 정보과학영재 교육과정과 이후 관련 연구에서도 정보과학영재 대한 합의된 정의도 없고, 교육목표의 현실성과 구체성이 미흡한 상태이다. 또한 정보과학영재 교육과정이 정보과학영재 교육 기관별로 매우 상이하며, 정보과학영재 교육과정에 상당한 차이가 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 기존의 정보과학영재 연구를 바탕으로 정보과학영재를 다시 정의하고, 제안된 정의를 기초로 합당한 정보과학영재 교육목표 7가지를 제시한다. 또한 7가지 교육목표에 따른 교육영역 및 세부적인 교육내용을 포함하는 창의적 정보과학영재 양성을 위한 교육과정을 제안한다. 끝으로 제안된 정보과학영재 정의와, 정보과학영재 교육목표와 교육과정에 대해 SPSS 18.0과 AMOS 21을 이용하여 신뢰성 검증과 구인 타당도 검증 작업을 실시하여 제안 내용의 타당성을 입증하였다.
