  • It is commonly understood that students' autonomous motivation and individualistic orientations and instructors' autonomy support are important for student-centered learning (SCL). However, few studies have examined this assumption. To help researchers and practitioners design more engaging SCL experiences across diverse cultural contexts, this study examines the associations of these factors with SCL engagement and how these associations compare in different cultures. University students in South Korea and the United States participated in a bold SCL assignment, called Pink Time, in which students decide what and how they learn. Linear, multivariate models were estimated in each context to identify and compare relationships between SCL engagement and student characteristics and perceptions. We found that engagement was high in both contexts. Autonomous motivation, individualism, and perceived instructor support each had significant associations with SCL engagement in South Korea. In the US, which had a smaller sample size, only perceived instructor support was significantly associated. These findings suggest that SCL strategies can be effective across cultures. Also, the narrower classroom context, specifically instructors' support, may be a stronger driver of engagement than the broader societal context. This study contributes to the scholarly discussion regarding SCL in diverse settings and offers several implications for instructors.

  • The article analyzes the features of innovation and investment activities of enterprises in the context of digitalization to increase their competitiveness in the international market. Ukraine's position on the Global Innovation Index is assessed. The interrelation of management functions in the context of innovation and investment activities of enterprises is substantiated. The structure of sources of financing of innovative activity of industrial enterprises is analyzed. Trends in changes in the volume of foreign direct investment and capital investment in Ukraine are assessed. It is determined that the level of innovative development of enterprises is determined by the level of their investment support, which is determined by the level of their investment attractiveness. The components of the strategy of investment attractiveness of enterprises are outlined. Determining factors in the implementation of innovation and investment policy of enterprises are identified and the main stages that should include the processes of managing innovation and investment activities of enterprises in the context of digitalization.

  • This study presented a framework for re-conceptualized data literacy that consists of three domains-knowledge, skills, and contexts- and elements that are emphasized by each domain. In addition to the existing concept of data literacy that mainly emphasized the skills to handle data, the context domain of data was considered including the elements of scope, time, and value orientation. Based on the re-conceptualized data literacy, it is expected to be usable as reference material in the development of curriculum and educational programs in the fields of informatization, manpower training, and administration.

  • The new millennium is characterized by an unprecedented breakthrough in knowledge and information and communication technologies, and the challenges of the XXI century require modernized paradigms of interaction in all spheres of life. Education continues to play a key role in national and global growth. The key role of education and its leadership in developing creative potential, as the main paradigm of the countries' stability, have significantly influenced educational centers. The developers of educational programs use information technologies as an incentive to develop creative potential of educational process. Professional training of the educational candidate is enhanced by the use of information technologies, so the educational applicants should develop technological skills to be productive members of society. Using the latest achievements in the field of information technologies for the organization of the educational process helps to form the operational style of education applicants' thinking, which provides the ability to acquire skills of processing information, that is presented in the text, graphic, tabular form, and increase the level of general and informational culture necessary for better orientation in the modern information space. The purpose of the research is to determine the effectiveness of information technologies as an incentive to develop creative potential of educational process on the basis of the survey, to establish advantages and ability to provide high-quality education in the context of using information technologies. Methods of research: comparative analysis; systematization; generalization, survey. Results. Based on the survey conducted among students and teachers, it has been found out that the teachers use the following information technologies for the development of creative potential of the educational process: to provide video and audio communication process (100%), Moodle (95,6%), Duolingo (89,7%), LinguaLeo (89%), Google Forms (88%) and Adobe Captivate Prime (80,6%). It is determined that modular digital learning environments (97,9%), interactive exercises tools (96,3%), ICT for video and audio communication (96%) and interactive exercises tools (95,1%) are most conducive to the development of creative potential of the educational process. As a result of the research, it was revealed that implementation of information technologies for the development of creative potential of educational process in educational institutions is a complex process due to a large number of variables, which should be taken into account both on the educational course and on the individual level. It has been determined that the using the model of implementation information technologies for the development of creative potential in educational process, which is stimulated due to this model, benefits both students and teachers by establishing a reliable bilateral connection between teacher and education applicant.

  • The paper discusses technology platforms as an instrument of science, technology and innovation policy in light of their use in industrial R&D. The authors assert that the technology platforms approach as a policy concept refects special organizational and institutional features learned from industrial technology platforms. The characteristics of industrial technology platforms are reviewed, and their impact on the organization of research, development and innovation activities in companies is explored. Second, the industrial technology platform is examined in the context of European Technology Platforms and the recent initiative for technology platforms in Russia. Finally, the technology platform concept implications for the STI policy context are discussed.

  • The influence of peer collaboration on children's analogical abilities was studied with 120 9-year-old participants. After the pre-test, which determined the analogical level of the children, each child was assigned to 1 of 4 different learning conditions: cued/non-cued peer collaborative learning, or cued/non-cued individual learning conditions. The post-test showed changes in their analogical abilities. That is, results showed that cued peer collaborative learned improved the analogical abilities of the children, but the pattern of improvement was different by prior level of analogical abilities. We explained improvement in analogical ability by the context effect of peer collaborative learning and by the interactive effect of context with basic cognitive abilities of the children. We suggested implications of the present results for educational practice.

  • This study investigated tile intuitive level of justification in geometry, as the former step to the aximatization, with concrete examples. First, we analyze limitations that the axiomatic method has in tile context of discovery and the educational situation. This limitations can be supplemented by the proper use of the intuitive method. Then, using the histo-genetic analysis, this study shows the process of the development of geometrical thought consists of experimental, intuitive, and axiomatic steps. The intuitive method of proof which is free from the rigorous axiom has an advantage that can include the context of discovery. Finally, this paper presents the issue of intuitive proving that the three angles of an arbitrary triangle amount to 180$^{\circ}$, as an example of the local systematization.

  • The purpose of this study is to review the essentials of teaching-effectiveness affecting the students' achievement. Any discussion of psychological research and theory concerned with the way teachers affect student learning must consider a variety of issues germane to this research. These issues provide a context for interpreting the research presently available and for identifying an appropriate agenda for future research. Finally, research on teacher effects needs to expand its concern for the psychological mechanisms that are responsible for student learning from instruction. Within the context of this study, that concern is probably the major challenge facing educational psychologists interested in the teaching-learning process.

  • A large part of students' difficulties with fractional division algorithms in the current algorithm textbooks, seem to be due to self-induction methods. Through concrete analysis of surveys and interviews, we confirmed the educational value of fractional algorithms used to elicit alternative ways of context of determination of a unit rate. In addition, we suggested alternative methods based on the results of the teaching methods and curriculum configuration.

  • The main purpose of the study is to determine the features of the functioning of the university as a part of the state structure in the context of marketing management n the context of storing information technologies. Students were obtained due to the following theoretical methods: systems of analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, comparison, classification, generalization and systematization, idealization and abstraction. It is advisable to study the essence and nature of educational services, as well as the role of education in economic development, relying on the methodology of institutional theory, the theory of stakeholders, which makes it possible to assess the contribution of education to the harmonization of public and individual interests, the formation of appropriate structures and subjects of development, ensuring the building of intellectual potential and quality of life. The specificity of the functioning of the university as a part of the state structure in terms of managing marketing activities was characterized.
