This study comprehensively draws a conclusion using factors of economic, social, and educational value and performed a survey on librarians and users to compare and analyze the difference in perception between the two groups. The result are as follows: First, Libraries had the social value not only on research and personal learning but also on establishment and vitalization of communities, provision of opportunities to share ideas between local residents and create something new, and provision of recreation to improve the residents' capability. Second, both groups evaluated the libraries' educational role and function relatively highly. In particular, the librarians scored very high for the items that the libraries' educational role was expanding, the libraries were a part of the educational system, and the libraries' value on reading and literacy was great, and the users thought that libraries had an value because they were a part of education and the educational system. Third, economic value part also obtained relatively lower scores than other values; the mean of the librarian group was 3.46 and the user group was 3.43. Among the economic values, the librarian group scored the highest for the area of economic value for local communities, and the greatest scores were given to manpower development by the users.

In that all aspects of education can be compared from an international perspective, Comparative Education can share research subjects with most of the subdisciplinary study of Education. Especially Educational Finance and Economics, which is an important part of institutions and policies of education, has been one of the important areas in Comparative Education studies. In this regard, this paper summed up the relationship between Comparative Education and Educational Finance and Economics. Not only for the development of Educational Finance and Economics itself, but also in point of view of Comparative Education, it is as follows to discuss several tasks for Educational Finance and Economics to develop from now on. First, it is necessary to diversify the methods and approaches to Educational Finance and Economics. Comparative Educational studies or exploration on Educational Finance and Economics should require additional analysis from a variety of perspectives. Second, more efforts should be made to establish an independent theoretical framework for Educational Finance and Economics. Comparative Education may also be interested in international comparisons of these theoretical orientations or directions of Educational Finance and Economics. Third, we have to secure the identity of the Korean Educational Finance and Economics. Various comparative educational studies on Educational Finance and Economics of Education from an international perspective should be attempted on the basis of indigenous and independent Educational finance and Economics. Educational Finance and Economics are areas in which comparative educational analysis is needed more than any other study field of Education. We look forward to more active research on Educational Finance and Economics in the future from a comparative educational standpoint.

While research projects and reports on values in mathematics education increased in the international community over the years, little has been known about the topic and research findings in South Korea. The purpose of this study was to analyze the trends of value research in mathematics education focused on the "mathematical values" and "mathematics educational values" as defined by Bishop (1996) through a systematic review of the literature. A total of 66 research papers related to value research were analyzed in terms of the following four areas: research period, projects, target research population, and research method. The results of this study showed that the value research that was carried out was project-driven. There was an increase in both the number of papers published and countries that were studied, which encouraged the continuous expansion of the field. Furthermore, the topic of mathematics educational values was studied more than mathematical values. It was also observed that the survey method, among others, was frequently used to explore mathematics educational values of middle school teachers. Finally, research methods related to the measurement of value were gradually refined over time. Based on these results, this paper describes implications to conduct and advance value research in South Korea in various aspects, including in the field of mathematics education.

The study aims to analyze the research trends according to 'characteristics of researchers' in the research papers published in "The Journal of Educational Administration" between last 10 years(2009 to 2018 first half). The study results are as follow. First, in terms of the researcher, more research was done by 'joint' researchers than a 'single' researcher. In addition, the number of studies in which the first author was male was higher than in women. Also, collaborative research between 'professors' and 'graduate students' was actively done. Second, the number of studies to develop and verify theories(or models) has increased. Third, in terms of research methods, more studies tend to utilize 'quantitative research' using advanced statistics and 'qualitative research' through interviews and observations to describe and explain Korea's educational administration phenomenon. Fourth, researchers showed high interest in 'School organization and management;', 'Higher education', 'Education policy and planning'. Fifth, according to each research area, there were some differences in the characteristics of the researchers who conducted the research, the nature of the research, and the research methods used mainly. Based on the results of this study, this study suggested the future trends of educational administration research in the era of the fourth industrial revolution.

This paper explored gifted students' perspectives on using educational technologies in their schools in the Saudi context. Adopting a descriptive research approach, a questionnaire was used to collect information from a sample of 196 gifted secondary school students in Jeddah. Findings showed that educational technology was used to a high degree, with an overall mean of 3.74 and 4.06 for the degree of importance of technological usage. Based on the findings, the researcher forwards some recommendations for effectively using such technologies to promote gifted students' abilities and talents.

This study examines many preceding studies on school space, including the high school credit system, and attempts to present the importance after deriving the most appropriate factors when constructing an educational environment of the high school credit system. Based on the derived importance level, the purpose of this study was to provide information that is helpful for the implementation of the educational environment of the high school credit system in each school and to establish and present a model from an academic perspective by deriving the importance of the educational environment according to the high school credit system. As a research method, the importance of the educational environment was analyzed through the Analytic Hierarchy Process. The result of the analysis indicated that it is necessary to consider the interrelationship between the educational curriculum and the educational environment, which selectively and intensively performs functions and maximizes the effect according to the strategic importance of the educational environment.

Part-time instructors are contributing to the production of excellent human resources through education and research, strengthening research competitiveness, and national and social knowledge and academic development. Therefore, academic and research information services for part-time instructors are essential for their educational and research activities. In this study, researcher suggested various methods for providing efficient educational and academic information services by surveying and analyzing their information environment, information needs, and educational and academic information recognition and usage behavior by applying the survey method to part-time instructors.

This study was to analyze the research trend related to mathematics education evaluation in the analysis of the articles on , . The study explores the future direction of mathematics education assessment research by investigating whether such evaluation was suitable for the expectation about the assessment required in the current mathematics curriculum. This study was to classify the evaluation-related researches based on Korea educational curriculum revision from 1991-2010 to examine the research trend on the mathematics education evaluation in each season in Korea, analyze the articles by 'monitoring of student's progress', 'judgement on instruction', 'giving the value on mathematics achievement of students', 'value judgement of the program' that were the purpose of evaluation presented in 1995 NCTM(National Council of Teachers of Mathematics). As a result, looking at the research trend classified by the time of the educational curriculum revision, the 7th educational curriculum had the most number of the papers announced from 1997-2006. Despite 2007 educational curriculum revision was the short period from announced 2007-2008 before the next educational curriculum was placed, 11 papers(34.4%) were published. According to the category by the purpose of the assessment prescribed in NCTM, it showed that researches of 'monitoring of student's progress(46.9%)' were the most, those of 'value judgement of the program' and 'giving the value on mathematics achievement of students had a similar percentage.

The aim of this study was to analyze the research trends in articles published in the Korean Journal of Medical Education (KJME) and Korean Medical Education Review (KMER) using keyword network analysis. The analyses included 507 papers from 2010 to 2019 published in KJME and KMER. First, keyword frequency analysis showed that the research topics that appeared in both journals were "medical student," "curriculum," "clinical clerkship," and "undergraduate medical education." Second, centrality analysis of a network map of the keywords identified "curriculum" and "medical student" as highly important research topics in both journals. Third, a cluster analysis of 20 core keywords in KMER identified research clusters related to academic motivation, achievement, educational measurement, medical competence, and clinical practice (centered on "learning," while in KJME, clusters were related to educational method and program evaluation, medical competence, and clinical practice (centered on "teaching"). In conclusion, future medical education research needs to expand to encompass other research areas, such as educational methods, student evaluations, the educational environment, student counseling, and curriculum.
