  • The concept of Eco-welfare emerged in the process of discovering the relationship between a healthy ecosystem and human wellbeing. The objective of this study is to offer basic data for eco-welfare policy realization by conceptualizing the 'National Park Eco-welfare' since national parks are appropriate places for eco-welfare to be optimally implemented. A pre-workshop and two rounds of Delphi surveys were conducted to determine the concept of the 'National Park Eco-welfare ' and the main elements to be included in ecosystem service. Through this study, the concept of 'National Park Eco-welfare' was defined as efforts to conserve the biodiversity and sustainability of the ecosystem and create harmony between 'National Park Ecosystem Welfare' and 'National Park Human Welfare'. To establish the direction of the National Park Eco-welfare policy, we identified the main elements of ecosystem services which are appropriate for the National Park. These are comprised of 3 elements (food, fresh water and genetic resources) from supply service, all elements from regulating service and supporting/habitat service and 4 elements (aesthetic information, recreation-based ecotourism, healing, and knowledge systems with educational values) from culture service. In this study, the concept of National Park Eco-welfare was established, and its policy objectives and scope were suggested. However, further studies are necessary to develop action plans areand thereby realize the policy.

  • Today, as individuals show their social identities and reflect their being as the members of society with a culture, an art style and communication function are stood out in fashion photographs. Accordingly, the meanings of images into text are expanded in its interpretative width through the acceptor's various terms. This researcher looked into four theories of both positions on the textuality of language and image, and considered the point of discussion on image of each theory through modern fashion photographs. First, the theory which divides language and image as auditory and visual recognitions in the textuality of language and image is limited from the view it focuses on only one side without considering the ambivalent elements of each field. For the textuality in modern fashion photographs, the observer attempts to turn it into text to give meaning to it as the recognition through five senses conforming to the acceptor's condition. Second, the theory dividing language and image into the text of time properties and spacial properties has limitation in the text, for acceptor's experience of the object appears as the structured form in time and space rather than being defined as two things like time and space. Third, the theory classifying the language and image text into conventional taste and natural taste has limitation from the view that image text is hardly an object of consistent classification in ease of recognition by the code accepted in society. Thus, this can't be fundamental approach for the understanding of the text of decoding trend represented in modern fashion photographs. Fourth, accordingly, this researcher focussed on contextual and arbitrary text of fashion photographs through the theory of Nelson Goodman which discusses image text through the differences in textuality. Basic mechanism of perceiving and recognizing and distinguish image is closely related to habit and custom like language. So, each acceptor perceives the image as a text through arbitrary interpretation obtained by individual, empirical, historical, and educational viewpoints. The textuality of modern fashion photographs aims to widen the range of diverse knowledge and understanding, transcending the regulations of simple function of existing fashion photographs. Consequently, this researcher puts forward the opinion of consistent and diverse follow-up studies on instilling meaning into fashion photographs for the understanding de-regulatory and de-constructive through various senses by avoiding only one sense-dependent fixed and regulatory properties of it.

  • The purpose of this study is to measure the relation of employment stress and self-esteem in some health college students and to consider a proper means for the solution. The population of the research is some randomly chosen health college students located in Seoul City during the period from May 10 to June 11 2010, and the sample of 295 students were recruited as the analysis object group. The data on general characteristics and employment stress were collected by a questionnaire survey. The collected data were analyzed with the SPSS WIN 12.0 program. The following shows the results of this study. 1. Employment stress was low in high group of satisfaction in campus life. It was statistically significant(p<0.001). 2. Mean scores of total self-esteem in study population were 3.1 and positive self-esteem level(3.76) were higher than negative ones (2.44)(p<0.001). 3. The relation between employment stress and selfesteem(r=0.132) revealed significant correlation. 4. In regression analysis, home economy, competence for a schoolwork, satisfaction in campus life, self-esteem(p<0.001) were proved as significant factors that is related to the employment stress. In other words, It is significant statistically that the lower home economy, competence for a schoolwork, satisfaction in campus life, self-esteem, the higher employment stress level. I suggest with the result of the study that for coping effectively employment stress of health college students, we will need to open an educational development considering self-esteem and an exclusive employment counsel window for better administrationwelfare service in campus, to expand industry-academic cooperation in community. Because of students are independent responsibility of employment, active effort must take precedence in order for the solution of problem by themselves. Also, we will need to create better academic environment and show more concern, consideration, love in family.

  • This study aims to figure out the effects of dental hygienists' professionalism and self-efficacy on job satisfaction using structural equations. This research conducted a survey to 616 study subjects. According to the analysis using SPSSWIN 18.0 and AMOS 20, the results are as follows : 1. It was shown that the dental hygienists' professionalism gained 3.34 points, self-efficacy was 3.76 points, and job satisfaction received 3.36 points. 2. It was found that as their age was higher, educational degree was higher, they were married, and working experience was more, their professionalism, self-efficacy, and job satisfaction were higher, which showed statistically significant difference. 3. Regarding the study model, there was positive effect as the correlation coefficient of professionalism and self efficacy was .69, that of professionalism and job satisfaction was .33, that of self-efficacy and job satisfaction was .59. In other words, there was correlation between professionalism and self-efficacy. When self-efficacy was higher than professionalism, job satisfaction also increased. Job satisfaction is affected by various environments within an organization and each individual's internal factors. The reason why job satisfaction is important is that along with the medical service quality and productivity, it is also associated with dental hygienists' individual life quality. In order to cope with this changeful time, it is needed for an organization to make efforts for change to enhance dental hygienists' job satisfaction, and also it is necessary to make endeavors so that dental hygienists can have confidence in their job and their professionalism and self-efficacy can be improved.

  • We are at the onset of a major revolution in education, a revolution unparalleled since the invention of the printing press. The computer will be the instrument of this revolution. Computers and computer application are everywhere these days. Everyone can't avoid the influence of the computer in today's world. The computer is no longer a magical, unfamiliar tool that is used only by researchers or scholars or scientists. The computer helps us do our jobs and even routine tasks more effectively and efficiently. More importantly, it gives us power never before available to solve complex problems. Mathematics instruction in secondary schools is frequently perceived to be more a amendable to the use of computers than are other areas of the school curriculum. This is based on the perception of mathematics as a subject with clearly defined objectives and outcomes that can be reliably measured by devices readily at hand or easily constructed by teachers or researchers. Because of this reason, the first large-scale computerized curriculum projects were in mathematics, and the first educational computer games were mathematics games. And now, the entire mathematics curriculum appears to be the first of the traditional school curriculum areas to be undergoing substantial trasformation because of computers. Recently, many research-Institutes of our country are going to study on computers in orders to use it in mathematics education, but the study is still start ing-step. In order to keep abreast of this trend necessity, and to enhance mathematics teaching/learning which is instructed lecture-based teaching/learning at the present time, this study aims to develop/present practical method of computer-using. This is devided into three methods. 1. Programming teaching/learning method This part is presented the following five types which can teach/learn the mathematical concepts and principle through concise program. (Type 1) Complete a program. (Type 2) Know the given program's content and predict the output. (Type 3) Write a program of the given flow-chart and solve the problem. (Type 4) Make an inference from an error message, find errors and correct them. (Type 5) Investigate complex mathematical fact through program and annotate a program. 2. Problem-solving teaching/learning method solving This part is illustrated how a computer can be used as a tool to help students solve realistic mathematical problems while simultaneously reinforcing their understanding of problem-solving processes. Here, four different problems are presented. For each problem, a four-stage problem-solving model of polya is given: Problem statement, Problem analysis, Computer program, and Looking back/Looking ahead. 3. CAI program teaching/learning method This part is developed/presented courseware of sine theorem section (Mathematics I for high school) in order to avail individualized learning or interactive learning with teacher. • Currently, patrol officers dispatched are required to work in pairs, and are assigned individual duties. However, despite these rules, there are still inappropriate combat education centered around dangerous weapons and arresting technique training being taught in the police system. The human rights problems resulting from excessive responses, the damages done to the patrol officers due to insufficient responses, and the judicial issues that many officers who have justly arrested face, reveal the ultimate problem of the decrease in reliability of the police. Considering this problem, there is a need for change in the current training system. Specifically, in the current dispatch rule, assignment of individual duties, and training methods, realistic improvements must be made. Having understood the arrest technique training problem and reviewed case studies of the police training in South Korea and other countries, I plan to analyze the effects of implementing a realistic and professional training system, and propose a systemic solution according to the results. By effectively discussing the various issues of the proposed training and police education, I intend to propose a realistic teamwork training for paired patrol officers, enabling them to work well together in practice and theory, hence increasing the effectiveness in crime situation.

  • In the 21st century, there will be a robot revolution. Only several years ago, industrial robots were the mainstream in the robot market; however, diverse type of robots are currently entering into our daily lives for various purposes, and the robot that thinks and behaves very similarly to human will appear in the near future. However, there is a critical view about the robot period. This means that the robot revolution will change even the framework of our entire society and human life style, and it is necessary to have robot education. It is necessary to start robot education in the elementary school curriculum with a view to enhancing interest in basic science and scientific technology and cultivating creative talents who may adapt themselves to a robotic society. However, there is no systematic robot curriculum owing to insufficient perception of the need of robot education and the educational utilization of robots. Under these circumstances, robot education is largely dependent on education for students with special talents and aptitudes run by private organizations. This paper conducted the following research in order to develop a robot curriculum in education for the gifted elementary students of computer science. First, the paper identified problems by analyzing the robot curriculum from a micro perspective after selecting three organizations that are relatively well perceived out of private organizations that operate robot education for the gifted elementary students of computer science. Second, the paper developed a robot curriculum in education for the gifted elementary students of computer science based on the framework of a robot curriculum run by private sector. Third, the validity of the robot curriculum developed in this paper was verified by a professional group comprising mainly persons in charge of robot curriculum development at private sector and lecturers for robot education for the gifted elementary students of computer science.

  • This research aims at finding out how spare time activity, relationships with their children and loneliness affect the satisfaction of life of elderly people who have no spouse. To begin, according to the survey, in the case of elderly people who have no spouse, male elderly people feel more loneliness, lower unification with their offspring, and do less activity in their spare time than female elderly people. The elderly people with a higher educational level, feel less loneliness and have a close relationship with their offspring. When elderly people believe in a religion, they participate in positive activities in their spare time and have a higher satisfaction of life. Secondly, the less the elderly people have for a monthly income, the more they feel a deep sense of isolation. However, if the elderly have a sufficient monthly income, they spend their spare time on positive activities and feel a higher sense of satisfaction in their lives. These results show that economic situation is an important factor for elderly people to maintain good mental health and a good quality of life. Thirdly, the loneliness of elderly people who have no spouse was influenced by whether the elderly people have children or not. If an elderly person loses their spouse through death, they can find themselves in a desperate situation and feeling very isolated. Most elderly people who have no spouse want to live with their offspring and depend on their sons and daughters economically and psychologically. However, the elderly people living alone have lower satisfaction of life because of economic and psychological problems. Therefore, the results shows that the life satisfaction of elderly people who have no spouse was influenced by living with their children and having a close relationship with them. The elderly people who have no spouse feel hopelessness and rely increasingly on their sons and daughters. The elderly people who don't have a sufficient monthly income not only feel more loneliness than other elderly people, but are also restricted in their spare time activities. It proves that the economic situation(monthly income) is also an important factor to maintain personal relationships.
