  • In Korea, recent women's educational standard is more higher than any other period but rate of using human resources is the lowest level among the OECD nations. As the reason of this phenomenon, the career choice attract attention. Traditionally, job is classified female-dominated job from male-dominated job, and most women still avoid male-dominated job. If this unequal concentrated phenomenon is relieved, diversity using of human resource will be available. For the purpose, this study try to determine the experience structure and the career decision-making process of the female undergraduate who want the male-dominated job through the qualitative study method, and to determine factors that work negative or positive on the process to use for the career consult. Grounded theory based data analyses resulted in 61 concepts, 27 sub-categories, and 12 categories from the recorded data of 8 female undergraduates who want the male-dominated job. The core category was "For the special life, keeping challenging with the will". A paradigm model consist of the casual condition, central phenomenon, contextual condition, intervening condition, actions/reactions and the result was proposed. And the participants went through five stages with time in their career decision-making process: the stage of awareness about the trait and aspiration, the stage of internal determination, the stage of support and accept, the stage of challenge and overcome, and the stage of affirmation and confidence. • This study was aimed at looking into and understanding child-rearing experience of mothers from multicultural families based on the grounded theory, one of the qualitative research methods. For this, twelve mothers from multicultural families were selected and data were collected through in-depth interviews with them and then analyzed through the open coding, axial coding and selective coding. The analysis suggested that main phenomena mothers from multicultural families experienced are the conflict of child-rearing and educational crisis, and the confused identity of parenting. These main phenomena had much to do with contextual factors such as economic hardship, lower level of the Korean language, cultural differences, prejudices and ignorance. The severeness of conflict and crisis of child-rearing and the intensity of identity confusion for parenting depended on arbitral conditions such as family bonds, positive expectation for the future of their children, and the help of supportive systems. Mothers were dealing with difficulties of child-rearing through action and interaction of resignation and denial, introspection and the intention to overcome difficulties, and the capacity building. As a result, mothers from multicultural families acknowledged that there is a limit to their position and roles they can play and tried to change in order to resolve problems related to their children, positioning themselves for more active lives in Korean society. Through discussion based on the findings of the study, this study can help better understand child-rearing experience of mothers from multicultural families and suggest several directions for future researches on multicultural families.

  • The primary purpose of this study is to investigate the college students' implicit theory of Korean creativity. This study deals with the degree to which the students exploit the creativity, and the obstacles for them to exploit the creativity. Another purpose of this study is to explore their implicit knowledge of Korean creative environments. The results are as follows. The implicit knowledge of Korean creativity could be characterized by the following key words: 'flexibility', 'application', 'transformation', 'originality', 'perseverance', 'not being stereotyped', 'esthetic flavor' and 'understanding-new-by-exploring-old'. Students thought themselves to be more or less creative. Students in art and physical education, and male students estimated themselves more creative than other discipline and female. They thought that socio-institutional factors such as educational system focused on the college entrance test are the most serious obstacles against creativity. About half of the students thought the creative persons would have been raised in poor family whereas other students thought differently. The home environment of the creative person was thought to be characterized by the words such as democratic, free and encouraging. Creative persons were thought to be maladaptive school life, but good at peer relations. This study will be used as a pioneer research which suggest a model of Korean creativity.

  • The COVID-19 Pandemic incident forced all educational and learning activities to move online, so it is no longer an option to use information and communication technology for education and learning. Venture capital has made the largest investment ever in Edu-tech startups. This study investigates the factors influencing the intention to use digital technology in education, taking into account the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) along with digital literacy, which has become an essential ability in the digital age. As a result of the structural equation model analysis, we find that performance expectation, effort expectation, and social influence have a positive effect on the intention to use digital technology in education. Moreover, digital literacy has a positive effect on performance expectation, effort expectation, and social impact, but the direct effect on the intention to use digital technology on learning is not significant. Furthermore, to see the moderating effect of age, the results of multi-group analysis present that the differences between 10s and 60s, between 20s and 60s, between 30s and 60s on the path of social influence on the intention to use digital technology in education are significantly reduced. This study academically contributes to expanding the research on the factors affecting the intention to use digital technology in a specific situation of education by considering both digital literacy and Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). In addition, it can be used as a practical guide to the factors to be considered for each age when making learning participants more actively use digital technology.

  • This study is based on the design project of 'Sun-Garden' within the Solaseado Solar Power Plant located in Solaseado, which is a New City being developed in Haenam, Jeollanam-do. The purpose of this study is to create an integrated and sustainable energyscape that harmonizes energy infrastructure with the natural environment, while supporting the city's carbon neutrality agenda. To achieve this, design principles were established by considering three key aspects. The first aspect is economic, which seeks to create multifunctional spaces that integrate nature and technology, pursuing long-term sustainability while generating additional economic value. The second aspect is natural, emphasizing the creation of planting environments that conserve and enhance ecosystems, introduce region-specific species, and maintain ecosystem services and sustainable resource use. The third aspect is landscape, offering sensory and educational experiences to visitors and functioning as a landmark that symbolizes the carbon-neutral garden city of Solaseado through the aesthetic harmony of nature and technology. Through the creation of the 'Sun-Garden,' the Solaseado Solar Power Plant exemplifies a sustainable energyscape development model that merges economic, environmental, and landscape aspects beyond the conventional energy production facility. This project is expected to provide guidelines and implications for future energy infrastructure design, contributing to global energy transition efforts.

  • To foster the core talents of the future, the development of diverse and substantial SW·AI education programs is required, and a systematic system that can assist public education in SW and AI must be established. In this study, we develop and combine SW·AI education modules to construct a SW and AI education program applicable to public education. We also establish a systematic education system and provide sustainable SW·AI education to elementary, middle, and high school students through 'Job's Garage Camp' based on various sharing platforms. By creating a sustainable follow-up educational environment, students are encouraged to continue their self-directed learning of SW and AI. As a result of conducting a pre-post survey of students participating in the 'Job's Garage Camp', the post-survey values improved compared to the pre-survey values in all areas of 'interest', 'understanding and confidence', and 'career aspirations'. Based on these results, it can be confirmed that students had a universal positive perception and influence on SW and AI. Therefore, if the operation case of 'Job's Garage Camp' is improved and expanded, it can be presented as a standard model applicable to other SW and AI education programs in the future.

  • The global Industry has been shaped by start-ups that originated with knowledge-based innovative strategies or technologies in the 21st century. Specifically, laboratory start-ups that rely on research papers or patents for new technology development are recognized for their high survival rate and the creation of employment opportunities. Our study concentrated on 'I-Corps', which also introduced in Korea, standing for innovation corps is a laboratory startup program launched in 2011 by the NSF(National Research Foundation) to commercialize R&D results and foster entrepreneurship as part of the policy to build a start-up system at the national innovation level. In this study, we proposed and empirically tested a research model focusing on teams participating in the I-Corps program to determine how startup team diversity, among the team characteristics of laboratory startups, affected patent performance. As a result of the analysis, among the proposed variables, age diversity, educational background diversity, and value diversity had a significant impact on patent performance. The results of this study are expected to further strengthen the theoretical and practical foundations of researchers or practitioners of the I-Corps program, as well as related areas involving technology & laboratory startups, intellectual property and knowledge management fields in the future.
