The main objective of this research is to develop an experimental educational facility management information system that will be used for maintaining existing educational facilities in the elementary, junior high, and high schools. The development is based on the nationwide development plan of the education administration information system. The system developed is accomplished by use of Map-application Information System(MAPIS), an applied commercial software that combines Geographic Information System(GIS) with existing Information and Communication Technologies(ICT) such as Database system, Multimedia methodology, and Internet system. In order to figure out the features to be improved in the system developed, the research interviewed the educational facilities management in the Ministry of Education and P Local Education Authority. The authors suggest the functional improvement of the system based on the interview results.

The teaching and learning environment in medical schools is significantly different from that of other academic fields. An educational information system specifically designed for medical education could be an important solution for the unique context of medical education. In this study, the concept of the educational information system has been reviewed, and how such a system can be utilized effectively for medical education has also been explored. This paper also addresses how learning management systems for online learning could be made more effective through educational information systems. The application of flipped learning, which has been developing rapidly to improve teaching and learning, for medical education was also investigated. In conclusion, it was found that educational information systems could be a solution to various teaching and learning issues in medical schools. In particular, given that high performing students tend to enter medical schools, using educational information systems to improve the teaching and learning environment in medical school should be investigated further.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to identify problems of current educational facility data management and recommend a standardized terminology classification system as a solution. In addition, the research aims to present a preemptive and integrated disaster and safety management framework for educational facilities by seeking efficient business processes through secured data quality, systematic data management, and external data linkage and analysis. Design/methodology/approach A terminology classification system has been established through various processes including filtering and analysis of related data including laws, manuals, educational facilities accidents, and historical records. Furthermore, the terminology classification system has been further reviewed through several consultations with experts and practitioners. In addition, the accumulated data was refined according to the established standard terminology and an Excel database was developed. Based on the data, accident patterns occurred in educational facilities over the past 10 years were analyzed. Findings In the study, a template was developed to collect consistent data for the standardized disaster and safety management terminology classification system in educational facilities. In addition, the standardized data utilization methods are presented from the viewpoint of 'education facility disaster safety data management', 'data analysis and insight', 'business management through data', and 'leaping into big data management'.

World is moving towards digitization at a rapid pace, so the enterprises have developed information systems for management of their business. Empowering educational institutes with information systems are become very important and vital. Doing everything manually is very difficult for students, teachers and staff. Information system can enhance their efficiency and save a lot of time; this research proposed system will solve this issue by providing services like class room reservation, e-library facility, online submission etc. in a secured environment. Up till now limited attention has been paid to utilize robots and drones for automation inside educational institutes. Our proposed system incorporates robots and drones to fill this gap in automation being used in institutes. Through this research, the aim is to improve the efficiency of learning and services in educational institutions or universities.

As the world is rapidly changing into a knowledge-based information society, there is surprisingly increasing a great deal of knowledge. For this reason, various information systems have been constructed and operated to manage efficiently toward educational information resources. However, many different code systems are generally used for the lack of a standard management system. These different code systems have become significant factors hindering the efficiency of information co-ownership and practicability between each system. In this study, the author designed the Standard Data Code Management System and explored an efficient management program toward educational information resources.

In the construction industry, IT based information system has been diversely applied to increase productivity. Although IT device such as PDA, RFID, Barcode, wireless network and web camera has been introduced to gather information in construction site, the effect of the IT device is limited, because of bringing about additional works of engineer. In this paper, we proposed a defect management system which is based on handwritten document digitalization framework for introducing applicability of new IT device, digital pen. By the proposed system, we can effectively gather and input defect information to defect management system by using digital pen and paper like conventional way. Applying the data gathering device, digital pen to defect management, it is able to increase productivity by improving work process, building up and utilizing defect information database of good quality.

Today, Educational serious games are occupying a large portion of the serious game market but there is a lack of the quality evaluation systems for providing useful quality evaluation information about educational serious game to user or developer. Although the existing metadata management system for serious game is developed, the system had not provided a function to manage the quality evaluation information for educational serious game. Therefor the development of quality evaluation management system of educational serious game is a very important challenge. We proposed design of the system for managing a metadata and a quality evaluation for educational serious game. The advantage of our system is that the system provide a lot of reliable useful information for general users and developers, and support an easy and convenient tool to manage the metadata and quality information to managers.

This study has developed a medical information management educational program that can improve the management ability of medical information. The educational medical information management program was developed for 8mnths uing VB. The database utilized the ACCESS Database, which allows learners to easily understand and understand the structure of the data. The learners enter data in the discharge analysis and the cancer registration program and the incomplete program after analyze the medical records. After entering and saving data, medical information management programs can be used to understand and analyze the structure of the database to generate medical information. The educational programs can improve the ability of learners to manage medical information by extracting the necessary data from the database directly through SQL and creating various medical information. However, although the medical information management program is an educational program, there is no evaluation system for the learners program operation. Accordingly, the next studies should develop the assessment system of the medical information management program for learners evaluation.

The article starts with a review of system characteristic, information characteristic and personal characteristic on educational performance through educational satisfaction. This survey is intended for educatee's who take the course of KcLep. We found that all variables of system characteristic(easiness, flexibility and reliability) significantly effect the educational satisfaction. Information characteristic(timeliness, usefulness) significantly effect on educational satisfaction, but the correctness doesn't significantly effect on educational satisfaction. Personal characteristic(self-efficacy and achievement motivation) significantly effect on educational satisfaction, but the computing ability doesn't significantly effect on educational satisfaction. We found that the educational satisfaction significantly effect on the education performance.

Security infrastructure of Educational Network responds to threats by collecting and analyzing security events from various information protection system based on the integrated management system. Even if this system provides useful and detailed information to the administrator, there are some problems that this system does not provide effective response process and management systems for various threatening situations and the simultaneous threat processes. To solve this problem, we propose and develop security agents that enable the administrator to effectively manage integrated security for Educational Network. The proposed solution provides the administrator with efficient management techniques and process scheduling for various security events so that the administrator can response promptly to problems with the initial threat to Educational Network.
