The investment of BTL(Build-Transfer-Lease) projects for the educational facilities has been increased since 2005. However, many trial errors and problems have been occurring due to the lack of inspection criteria in maintenance cost for the lift cycle of the facilities. Thus, purpose of this study is to derive regression equation for the daily inspection and the regular inspection through analysis of CAD data in order to set the inspection criteria. It is possible to calculate economical maintenance cost of BTL project in educational facilities using criteria of inspection time through the regression equation developed in this study.

The objectives of this study were to explore the duties and tasks of educational program operation, to develop the performance model including the duties and tasks, and to construct the action manual of the tasks and duties in related with implementing effectively the educational program. The findings of this study were as follows. First, The identifying duties and tasks was 1,942 related with implementing educational program operation based on theoretical job model through activity analysis and experience sampling techniques. Second, the finding duties and tasks was reconstructed through classifying with 9 duties and 88 tasks, and then it was developed as educational program operation model of Korean Rural HRD Center. Finally Third, the implementing manual was constructed including the contents and task-elements.

The purpose of this study is to clarify the actual conditions of spatial composition of educational facilities by design process model. This article discuses about the characteristics of the floor plan composition and the site plan patterns of 49 middle and high schools in gyeongnam province. The results of this study are summarized as follows; 1) Comparing to traditional middle and high school facilities, it occurs various types of plane and the area is somewhat expanded in the school with same class size, however, it needs to improve facility standards in its reality to deal with the change of future educational environment actively. 2) Spatial composition of educational facilities should functionally designed considering that the characteristics of design process model. In facilities arrangement of middle and high schools, it shows diverse forms of arrangement from existing uniform straight type, however, most of schools do not being against the simple in their external space. Therefore, it requires an expansion of space siæ and facilities for the change of school life outside class.

Recently, a series of massive earthquakes have been occurred northeast Asia and there has also been constant sensible earthquakes in South Korea. Particularly, after diagnosing educational facilities with Sichuan earthquake momentum, remodeling construction of old educational facilities and buildings which were not designed not to resist earthquake are actively underway. Remodeling construction sites, however, are mostly small construction sites which consist of less than 30 full-time laborers, where a number of deaths from a fall occur by improper uses of protective gear. Therefore, to reduce the disaster from a fall caused by inadequate uses of protective gear in domestic small construction sites such as those for remodeling, this study conducts research into ways of decreasing accident rates by suggesting providing and administering protective gear as a national project so that donning protective gear is activated.

The Purpose of this paper is to design and manufacture an educational system in order to demonstrate the causes and effects of electromagnetic induction.'rho educational system described in this study is a "jumping ring apparatus". This system demonstrates the principle of electromagnetic induction, a force from AC sources, Lenz's law of repulsion and transformer. The educational system is composed of a jumping ring apparatus, a sensor array, encoder, A/D converter, D/A converter and nonlinear controller. The educational system is controlled by 586 PC using Turbo C program. The sensor array is composed of 20 optical sensors. The nonlinear controller consists of nonlinear control algorithm and control board included SCR, FET and phase controller. The A/D converter is used to show the height of ring position to analog for an education purpose. The control signal calculated from the nonlinear control of algorithm send control board through 8 bit D/A convertor. Experiment results are given to verify that Proposed nonlinear controller is useful in on line control of the educational system.al system.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the functional changes of local educational authority policy based on the systems thinking perspective using causal loop diagrams. In the past, the main function of the local educational authority was to manage and supervise schools. Through this policy, local educational authority would be transformed into a support agency. However, this policy did not achieve the goal, was to cause confusion and require improvement. This study shows structured causes of the problem based on systems thinking. These diagrams make it possible for educational policy makers to provide ideas, although they have some complicated environment. The findings indicate that based on systems thinking in this policy can help those who related to policy decision than existing diagnosis method.

This study aims to estimate the educational environment associated with various learning activities and to compare the differences of each characteristics appeared on the interviews and questions of teachers performing open education. The results were shown to the 5 groups differed from each other by the awareness analysis on their educational environment. According to the analyzed results, firstly, team teaching. applied living factor, unit learning factor, managemental factor, general public factor and assisting managemental factor were influential successively on the degree of satisfaction of teachers to the educational environment in open education of elementary schools. Secondly, to compare the relative differences between the groups, GLM was done. Most factors were significant only in the group of attached school and showed a partial significance in the grade in charge, gender and age.

In the so-called “information society,”the information service function of public libraries is gaining an increasing importance. In order to meet the growing demand for educational information, the Korean government established the Center for Educational Multimedia Research and Development and opened in 1996 the EDUNET as a comprchensive educational information network. In this context, public libraries as social education institutions are expected to provide educational information services by utilizing the EDUNET information resources. The availability of EDUNET will even increase when the librarians assist users with systematic information search services, and digitalize printed materials in the library. For this purpose, it is necessary for them to accommodate new information technologies and, thereby, to raise the level of information services up to that of their users’needs by enhancing the librarians’expertise in helping users search information effectively. In this end, we suggest a financial decision be made to build an oversea educational information exchange system.

The study is to research their parenting efficacy and parenting practices of a parent teacher as a volunteer(PTV) in the kindergarten. The subjects were mothers (N=127) in Choongbuk Province who had had volunteer education as a teacher assistant. The data were collected by their completing a questionnaire about Parenting efficacy and a Parent As A Teacher inventory (PAAT). The results include as follows: firstly, in PTV's parenting efficacy, 'the type of educational institution children are attending' is an important variable. Secondly, 'mother's educational background', 'father's educational background', and 'the type of educational institution children attending' are important variables in volunteer parents' parenting practices. Besides, 'mother's educational background' and 'participation motivation in volunteer activity' are important variables in parenting practices of 'control/permission' and of 'teaching/learning', and in general parenting practices. Finally, 'parenting efficacy', 'mother's educational background', and 'the sex of children' are important variables in volunteer teachers' parenting practices.
