As EMTs (Emergency Medical Technician), they will be required to attend a certain number of hours of continuing education each year to maintain, update, and expand their knowledge and skills. Continuing Education courses must be designed to keep up with the rapid changes in medicine. But, there are no standard CE curricula including reasonable subject matters and contents in this country, This paper analyzed many different CE curricula in advanced countries and examined the survey for educational needs to develop a standard CE curriculum. The following alternative plans to improve was proposed : (a) The subject matters should be enlarged and the contents subdivided. (b) The reasonable school hours of each subject matter should be allocated. (c) The applicable curriculum to the field affairs should be designed. (d) The frequency of CE should increased to expand an educational chance. (e) The educational circumstances should be improved, the educational outcomes be evaluated and flowed back. On the basis of the above alternatives plans, this paper proposed a model for the standard CE curriculum.

Objectives : Job insecurity, such as non-standard work, is reported to have an adverse impact on health, regardless of health behaviors. The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between non-standard employment and health in Korea. Methods : We analyzed a representative weighted sample, which consisted of 2,112 men and 1,237 women, aged 15-64, from the 1998 Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. Non-standard employment included part-time permanent, short time temporary and daily workers. Self-reported health was used as a health indicator. Results : This study indicated that women were more likely to report poorer health than men with standard jobs. Of all employees, 20.3% were female manual workers. After adjusting for potential confounders, such as age, education, equivalent income, marital, social and self-reported economic status and health behavior factors, nonstandard employment was found to be significantly associated with poor health among female manual workers (OR, 1.86; 95% CI, 1.24 to 2.79). No significant association was found in other working groups Conclusions : Among female manual workers, nonstandard employees reported significantly poorer health compared with standard workers. This result raises concern as there are increasing numbers of non-standard workers, particularly females.

Objectives: The purpose of the study is to investigate the knowledge of the dental health insurance standard of elderly denture in the dental hygienists. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 183 dental hygienists in Busan and Gyeongnam. The questionnaire consisted of general profiles of the subjects(11 items) and 10 items of the dental health insurance standard of the elderly denture including subject of spplication, application method, calculation of range, and temporary denture. Each question was measure by Likert 5 points scale. Cronbach's alpha was 0.936 in the study. The data were analyzed using SPSS 20.0 program. Results: The knowledge of the dental health insurance standard on the elderly denture in the dental hygienists was high in cognition of the renewed standard change(p<0.001), individual career(p<0.05), and recognition of the current standard(p<0.05). Conclusions: It is continuously necessary to inform the dental hygienists of the knowledge of dental health insurance standard. The web-based program for the dental health insurance education should be provided continuously for the dental hygienists.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine knowledge, perception, safety climate and compliance with hospital infection standard precautions and to identify the factors influencing nurse's compliance with standard precautions. Methods: Using the structured survey, data were collected from 292 nurses working at 4 general hospitals in the metropolitan city Seoul in October, 2008. Data were entered and analyzed with SPSS 12.0. Results: The majority of nurses were female with a mean age of 27.8. The mean score for knowledge of standard precautions was 21.2 out of 25. The nurses lacked knowledge on reusable gloves or gowns. Nurses perceived use of protective devices may not only increase time strain but also hinder development of therapeutic relationships with patients. Of safety climate factors, lack of time was the most frequently reported barrier to compliance with standard precautions. Knowledge, perception, and safety climate explained 16.1% variance of compliance with standard precautions. Conclusion: To improve nurses' compliance with standard precautions, provision of education and support for safety climate are necessary.

UX design e-learning systems in order to establish the reasonable structured modules that are based on interdisciplinary research. E-learning by focusing on technology-related education, information technology and psychology, business administration, etc. has been studied in the field. However, an important part of smart education, one of the students in the field of self-directed research is lacking UX design. UX Design the User Interface and Visual Identity is central to the success of the content of the important research areas in modern smart society. This case study is for smart education digital textbooks considered the characteristics of the study. Presented by the Ministry of Education on the basis of the standard of digital textbook content of the e-learning features, including multi-disciplinary analysis of UX design requires a structured model is proposed. Research data on the smart education and virtual education in UX design being used as the basis for studies forward.

정보사회의 도래로 교육분야에서도 정보공유를 위한 많은 방안들이 제시되고 있다. 인터넷을 통해 전달되는 교육자료의 양은 나날이 증가하고 있지만 정보생산자들이 일정한 표준 없이 나름대로의 기준에 따라 정보를 유통시키고 있기 때문에 이용자가 필요한 정보를 정확하게 찾아내기란 매우 어려운 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 인터넷 자원 중에서도 교육자료를 서비스하고 있는 16개 시 도 교육청 및 산하 기관들의 홈페이지 분류체계를 분석하고, 자료의 실제 이용자 및 공급자에 대한 요구자료를 최대한 수렴하여 사실표준에 기초한 교육자료 분류체계를 제안하고자 한다.

Industrial disasters cause lots of damages from individuals to companies and country. Especially, damages caused by constructional disasters take very large portion in the whole industry and are accompanied by huge personal physical damages. For the prevention of disasters, roles of safety manager are very important and especially, effects of disaster prevention can be changed by occupational ability of construction safety manager. To improve job abilities of safety manager, job education is very important. This research suggested a model for job education management of construction safety manager and proposed improvements as a study on improvement of curriculum for vitalization of job education of construction safety manager so as to improve occupational ability of safety manager. To achieve them, this research examined standard and operation status of current job education of safety manager and the problems and suggested a model materializing job educational contents as a measure to vitalize job education system of safety manager.

Now, mathematics textbook is being developed in accordance with the 7th educational curriculum. It is expected that qualified textbook reflecting 'differentiated education' concept be developed and published. But there are still many limitations of textbook authorization system to develop 'such' textbook. Many authors of textbook have difficulty in developing creative and qualified textbooks in their own way. In this paper, we deal with what the authors should keep in mind and could reflect related on textbook authorization system in developing textbook. Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the effects of an education program using a high-fidelity simulator of labor and delivery on nursing knowledge, critical thinking, and clinical performance among nursing students who had not yet experienced clinical practicum. Methods: The development of a 5-week maternity nursing education programs using high-fidelity simulators included modules containing case-oriented scenarios, knowledge, and skills required for maternity care. A randomized controlled study was conducted to verify the effects of the developed program. Data were collected from October 21 to December 9, 2019. The experimental group (n=36) participated in a 5-week high-fidelity simulation program on care for the woman in labor, whereas the control group (n=36) received standard education as lecture and practice with delivery model. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics (frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation), the Chi-square test, Fisher exact test, and t-test. Results: For participants who received education using the high-fidelity simulation program, nursing knowledge (t=2.33, p=.011), critical thinking (t=3.73, p<.001), and clinical performance (t=2.53, p=.006) were significantly higher than in the control group. Conclusion: Even for students with no clinical experience, high-fidelity simulation-based nursing education was effective in improving nursing knowledge, critical thinking, and clinical performance among nursing students. Nurse educators will be able to use this high-fidelity simulator effectively, especially in situations where direct clinical practicum may not be feasible.

A workplace trainer is required to have profound theoretical and technological knowledge, sufficient experience and problem-solving ability in order to play the role of a competent trainer and assessor for the apprentices and experienced worker students who are participating in the Work-Learning Dual System of the company. This study has introduced a Degree-linked Highly Skilled professional Course in Korea and proposed an optimized standard education model for the training of high-quality workplace trainers. It is expected that this study will contribute greatly to the training of highly skilled professionals for efficient implementation of the Work-Learning Dual System and stable institutional settlement of the Highly Skilled professionals Course as the first empirical study on the training of highly skilled professionals.
