과학 탐구 능력 향상을 위한 수행 평가 자료 개발 - 초등학교 3, 4학년용 자료 - (The Development of Performance Assessment Materials to Improve Scientific Inquiry Skills - Focused on the Third and Fourth Grades in Elementary School -)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop performance assessment materials of scientific inquiry skills on 62 scientific activities in elementary science textbook for third and fourth grades. For this study, a total of 318 elementary teachers were sampled and surveys were carried out to examine the status of performance assessment of scientific inquiry skills in school. The classification system of assessment methods by Hart(1994) was also analyzed to create assessment strategy of scientific inquiry skills for elementary school students. Based on the quantitative data analysis, literature study and existing performance assessment materials analysis, performance assessment materials were developed and applied to science classes for third and fourth grades. Teachers and students were interviewed after the classes for asking about merits and improvements and the performance assessment materials were revised.

Synthesis of Biomass-derived Polyurethane by Chain Extender Type

  • Bio-based polyester polyols were synthesized using esterification with azelaic acid, sebacic acid, and 1,3-propanediol. Polyurethanes were prepared using chain extenders (1,4-Butanediol, 1,3-Propanediol, and isosorbide) and 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate with a mixing ratio of 1:1:1.1. Subsequently, the properties of the polymers prepared using the different chain extenders were compared. The synthesis of polyurethane was confirmed by FT-IR, TGA, and GPC. The mechanical properties (hardness, ball rebound, and tensile strength) of the materials were analyzed using shore A tester, taber abrasion, and UTM. heat, chemical, and water resistances of the prepared materials were measured by comparing the tensile strengths according to external changes.

'수학 과제 탐구' 과목의 수업을 위한 교수·학습 자료 개발 연구 (A Study on Development of Teaching and Learning Materials for 'Mathematics Project Inquiry Subject')

  • The purpose of this study is to develop teaching and learning materials for the mathematics project inquiry subject. Since this subject is newly opened in the 2015 revised mathematics curriculum, there are no textbooks and materials. Hence it is required to help teachers plan lessons of the mathematics project inquiry subject. For this study, developing directions and objectives are established. Ten hours of lesson plan and teaching and learning materials are also developed for the two themes of 'big data' and 'industrial mathematics'. Suitability and validity of the developed material are verified positively from a survey of 8 teachers and 2 professionals. The detailed result findings are as follows. First, teaching and learning notes are suggested for each lesson plan. They are comprised of building inquiry plan, doing inquiry, summarizing results, and presentation. Second, driving questions of each theme are developed as "What is the big data and where is it used for ?" and "How various is the use of the industrial mathematics ?" respectively. Third, poster-types of each project product are developed. Fourth, three inquiry activity sheets and examples which are theme selection, inquiry plan, and group activity are developed. Fifth, 4 assessment sheets of self, peer, group, and teacher-use are developed.

초등수학 교과 기반 첨단 기술 및 ICT 교구 활용형 융합교육 자료 개발에 대한 사례 연구 (Case Study on the Development of STEAM Instruction Material for Mathematics Subject-Based Advanced Technology and ICT Teaching Tools)

  • 본고는 초등수학을 기반으로 첨단기술및 ICT교구를활용한 초등융합교육자료의 개발에 대한 사례 연구이다. 본 연구에서는 초등현장 교육전문가 6인이 준비-개발-개선의 PDI 모형에 따라 융합교육 자료를 개발하였고, 개발된 자료는 수학, 과학, 미술, 공학 과목의 교과교육전문가 4인에 의해서 수정·보완하였다. 개발된 융합교육 자료는 초등 3~4학년군에서 활용 가능한 『그래프! 과거, 현재, 미래를 이어주는 다리』 의 1종이고, 5~6학년군은『알쏭달쏭, 같은 듯 다른 너!』 , 『함께 만드는 가상현실 입체 공간』의 2종이며, 초등 3~4학년군과 5~6학년군에서 학년군별로 재구성해 사용 가능한 『그리고 만드는 재미있는 도형 나라』 , 『거북선 지붕을 빈틈없이 덮어라!』 의 2종이었다. 본 개발 연구의 결과를 기반으로 한 제언은 다음과 같다. 초등교육 현장에서 원활한 융합교육을 수행할 수 있도록 다양한 융합교육 자료가 개발 공유되어야 하며, 나아가 앞으로 융합교육의 확산과 정착을 위해서는 현장 초등 교사나 예비 초등 교사들의 융합교육 역량의 함양 및 신장이 절대적인 선결 조건일 것이다.

용매정제법과 원심분리법으로 추출한 Si의 순도에 미치는 장입 원재료 순도의 영향 (The Effect of the Purity of Raw Materials on the Purity of Silicon Extracted by Solvent Refining and Centrifugation)

  • High purity silicon can be obtained from Al-Si alloys by a combination of solvent refining and centrifugation. Silicon purification by crystallization of silicon from an Al-Si alloy melt was carried out using 2N and 4N purity aluminum and 2N purity silicon as raw materials. The effect of the purity of raw materials on the final silicon ingot purity by centrifugation was investigated for an Al-50 wt% Si alloy. Alloys were melted using an electrical resistance furnace, and then poured into a centrifuging apparatus. A silicon lump like foam was obtained after centrifugation and was leached by an acid in order to get pure silicon flakes. Then silicon flakes were melted to make a silicon ingot using an induction furnace. The purities of the silicon flakes and silicon ingot were enhanced significantly compared to those of the raw materials of silicon and aluminum. The silicon ingot made of 4N aluminum and 2N silicon showed the lowest impurities.

건강신념 모델에 근거한 보육시설 유아대상 영양교육 프로그램 개발 및 적용 (Development and Application of a Health Belief Model Based Nutrition Education Program for Day Care Center Children)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop various nutrition education materials, including an animated CD, for day care center children and their teachers and in order to apply the nutrition education programs systematically. We evaluated the effect of the nutrition education programs on nutrition knowledge in the first year, and the effect of the nutrition education programs on nutrition knowledge, food attitudes and eating behaviors in the second year in day care center children. In the first year, nutrition education foundational materials, such as the animated CD-ROM, videotape, textbook, panels, posters, slogans, leaflets, picture disks, hand puppets, stickers for compensation and poster boards were developed. The subjects were 537 children (286 boys,251 girls) aged four to six years. In the second year, nutrition education materials, such as the animated CD-ROM and textbook were developed. The nutrition education group included 368 children (177 boys 191 girls) aged four to six years, and the comparison group consisted of 108 children (54 boys,54 girls) Regarding the nutrition knowledge test results in the first year, the pre-test mean of children was 6.82, however, the post-test mean was 11.35 and showed a significant increase (p < 0.001). Regarding the nutrition knowledge test and the food attitude test results in the second yew, the nutrition education group had significantly higher scores than the comparison group in a post-test (p < 0.001). For the eating behavior test results, the post-test means between the comparison group and the nutrition education group were not significant. The test results show that several months of nutrition education is not enough to improve eating behaviors. As a result, nutrition education has improved nutrition knowledge and food attitudes in day care center children but short-term nutrition education was not sufficient to induce a change in eating behaviors. To improve eating behaviors in day care center children, nutrition education programs must be applied to day care center children in addition to their Parents and Persistent education will have to be continued.

'페르마 점'을 활용한 중학교 수학 영재 교수·학습 자료 개발 및 적용 (Development and application of teaching - learning materials for mathematically gifted students by using Fermat Point -)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 '페르마 점'을 활용하여 중학교 일선에서 영재 교육을 담당하고 있는 영재 담당 교사들을 위한 교수 학습 자료를 개발하고 그 적용 사례를 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 연구자는 먼저 영재 교수 학습 모형, 영재프로그램의 유형에 관한 문헌을 고찰한 후 교수 학습 자료의 소재 및 주제로 페르마 점을 선정하고 이에 대한 교수 학습 자료를 개발하였다. 개발한 자료를 현장에 적용한 후 수업에 대한 피드백을 통해 자료를 수정 보완하였으며 이를 현장에 적용하였을 때 나타나는 학생들의 수학적 사고과정을 분석하였다.

예비교사의 디지털 기반 원주율 교수학습자료 개발 사례 연구 (A Study on Pre-service Teachers' Development of Digital-based Teaching and Learning Materials of Pi )

  • 본 연구의 목적은 디지털 기반 원주율 교수학습자료를 개발하는 과정에서 예비교사들의 디지털 역량과 원주율에 대한 내용지식이 어떻게 나타나고 강화되는지를 분석함으로써 예비교사 교육에 주는 시사점을 도출하는 것이다. 이를 위해 알지오매스 환경에서 두 명의 예비교사가 블록코딩을 활용하여 원주율 지도를 위한 탐구활동 자료를 개발하는 과정을 분석하였다. 분석 결과를 통해, 알지오매스의 블록 코딩 활동이 예비교사의 디지털 역량을 발현하고 확장하는 경험을 제공하였다는 것과 예비교사들의 원주율에 대한 내용 지식을 심화시키는 기회가 되었으며 디지털 자료 개발 환경의 한계점을 인식할 수 있는 계기가 되었음을 확인하였다. 또한 예비교사들의 디지털 역량 강화 프로그램으로 블록 코딩을 적극적으로 활용할 필요가 있다는 것과 디지털 교수학습자료 개발에 필요한 지식으로 예비교사 교육에서 교육과정에 대한 이해를 강조할 필요가 있음을 제언하였다.

제7차 교육과정에 따른 초등학교 과학과 학습자료의 분석 (An Analysis of the Learning Materials in the Elementary School Science According to the 7th Curriculum)

  • The learning materials in elementary school science textbooks should include all kinds of materials being used by both teachers and students in the science teaching. The major purpose of this research is to analysis textbooks and teacher's guidebooks prepared for the science teaching of 3-6 grade students. To clarify this research, we listed whole of the learning materials of science teaching for each grade and counted numbers being used for whole of the lessons of science. And according to the characteristics and the methods of its preparation of materials, the types of learning materials can be divided into 10 categories such as teaching equipments for science, test materials, consumables, audio-visual aids, teaching equipments in general, collecting' recycling materials, field studies' collected data, breeding' cultivation materials, manufacture materials, and etc. At the result of this research, the 7th national science curriculum needs total 844 items of learning materials for science education. They could be separated into ten types of categories such as 159 items of teaching equipments for science, 65 items of test materials, 116 items of consumables, 198 items of audio-visual aids, 64 items teaching equipments in general, 31 items of collecting' recycling materials, 38 items of field studies (collecting) materials, 17 items of breeding-cultivation materials, 58 items of manufacturing materials, 105 items of other materials. And we found out that there were 332 items of materials for the 3rd grade, 303 items for the 4th grade, 324 items for the 5th grade, and 254 items for the 6th grade. The result of this research could be useful for classroom activities for science teaching.

환경교육목표 분석을 통한 학교 환경교육의 실태조사 (The Investigation of the Status of Environmental Education in Schools through Analysis of Goals for Environmental Education)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the status and the problem of environmental education in schools. For this investigation, sub-goals to the general goal for environmental education such as knowledge, awareness, attitude, skill, participation, and evaluation were classified. The contents and objects of the environment-related chapters in elementary and secondary school science texts and of the materials for environmental education were analyzed. Resultingly, the content and objects focused on the cognitive domain such as knowledge and skill category in science texts($85{\sim}92\;%$) and in the materials for environmental education($70{\sim}84\;%$). The result indicated that the objects of the cognitive domain were heavily emphasized in the present environmental education.
