A Study on Developing the Participatory Educational Program of Agricultural Safety and Health for Farmers (농업인을 위한 학습자 참여형 안전보건 교육 프로그램 설계)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a participatory education program of farmer's safety and health. After investigating the concept and status of agricultural safety and health to identify the problem of farmer's safety and health, we made the model in 3 steps, consist of analysis, design, and development, based on the instructional system design and the participatory instructional method. We also applied the participatory instructional method to the program to facilitate a change in practice by making farmers understand the contents. The findings of this study revealed the followings: 1) we developed the education program focused on characteristics of farmers as learners; 2) the education program was developed based on the model for developing education programs and the specific procedures that we made up; 3) we designed the program in modules to increase the availability; 4) we raised the content validity of the learning contents in the safety and health education program targeting farmers; 5) manuals and supplementaries for teachers were developed from learner's textbooks.

An Analysis of the Research Trends in Development and Implement of Parent Education Program: Focusing on Research in Recent 10 Years (부모교육 프로그램 개발과 수행에 관한 연구동향 분석 -최근 10년간 연구를 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide the basic data on the development and application of parent education programs and suggest the direction of future studies by analyzing the trends of research articles related to parent education programs. For this, the articles on 'parent education programs' written in Korea from 2004 to 2014 were collected and analyzed. The number of articles analyzed is 202 in total: 41 doctoral theses, 88 master's theses, and 73 academic theses. Firstly, the basic trend of research of parent education program was examined per object and subject. Secondly, the trend of research of the development and implementation of parent education programs was examined by dividing the programs on the basis of the ground for development, object of application, subject, type of program designing, the number and hours of the program, method of conducting the program, program educator, program effects. etc. The results of the analysis of the data made it possible to find out the process of development and implementation of parent education programs conducted in Korea. Such research results were summarized according to the research problems and suggestions for follow-up studies were made on its basis.

Development of 'Energy education' program for Creative Activities in middle school (중학교 창의적 체험활동을 위한 '에너지 교육' 수업 자료 개발)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop 'energy education' program for Creative Activities in middle school. The subject of this study was carried out with secondary student of middle school in Daegu. The development of 'energy education' program for middle school creative activies was carried out preparation, development and application. The details of each phase are as follows; The preparation phase was consised of collecting and research datas, energy education programs andliterature review for development of program. The development phase was developed through program that based on setting goals, designing of teaching-learning plans, development of materials of teaching and evaluation. The improvement phase was to modufy energy education instructional materials by running CD validity test of the expert, (2) preliminary tests and field trials of students. More than 65% of students to take class of this program agreed with the program of 'energy education' in class of creative activities was appropriate.

Research on application of the Variations of Internationally circulated Standard Korean Language Curriculum (국제 통용 한국어 표준 교육과정 변이형 적용 연구 -해외 중등학교의 제2외국어로서 한국어를 중심으로-)

  • This study purposed to discuss and suggest how to apply the internationally circulated standard Korean language curriculum to the fields of education. For this purpose, principles of the curriculum development that use reference of criterions like setting the education goals and stages of the Korean as second foreign language at the Korean foreign secondary school with the cases were reviewed. Studies about the curriculums of Korean language as an unit of state were began at 2010 and being continued in 2017. These researches pointed out a standard of the Korean language education, which influenced the development of curriculums, evaluations, and textbooks. Korean language teachers need lots of informations how to adjust the curriculums because they recognize that the curriculum as a reference of criteria is very difficult to be utilized. Roles of the reference of criteria that were extracted from the review on the curriculum development of the Korean as a second foreign language are providing a content basis for setting the goals of the curriculum and setting the stages connected with the operation of semesters. After the macroscopic development, plans for the phase of a syllabus run along. At this stage, sources of the items of education should be offered and elaboration of the education contents may design the syllabus. Finally, through a series of process, programs for Korean language education and textbook will be completed. Through this whole process, standard curriculum provides orientation and guidelines for the process of the development.

  • The "Belt and Road" economic development strategy provides new ideas for the transformation of my country's higher education. Under the guidance of the new development concept and relying on a good competitive platform, my country's higher education will have more possibilities for internationalization. The analysis of the connotation of the development concept of my country's higher education internationalization is mainly reflected in the development and tolerance of my country's higher education, and the innovation and sharing of development concepts. With this as the direction, my country's higher education institutions can combine the school's own school-running philosophy to formulate new teaching standards that are in line with international rules. Do a good job in the penetration of our country's excellent traditional culture, and handle the relationship between cultures of various countries. Actively learn from international advanced teaching concepts to build a scientific and perfect talent training mechanism.

  • What is learning in the math classroom? Does a new term need to be coined for learning? Is the term over-used and it has lost it meaning? The responses of one hundred five teacher-candidates and graduate students were coded using the five levels researcher designed rubric which was modeled after Bloom's Taxonomy for depth of knowledge. The effects of understanding learning include the preparation of lesson plans, classroom instruction, the guiding of student learning, and the professional development of teacher leaders.

Development and Application of Competency-based Elementary School Teacher Training Program for Maker Education

  • In this paper, we propose a study to develop and apply competency-based elementary school teacher training programs for maker education according to the steps of the DACUM-based Systematic Curriculum and Instructional Development (SCID) procedure model. According to the stages of the DACUM-based SCID (Systematic Curriculum and Instructional Development) procedure model, the educational goals, contents, objects, time, methods, and prerequisite subjects of the maker education training program were derived, and based on this, a competency-based training program was developed. In addition, the effectiveness of the program was verified by applying the developed program. As a result of applying the developed training program and evaluating its effectiveness, it was confirmed that overall positive results were found. We expect this training program to be of help in strengthening the competency of elementary school teachers in maker education.

  • Problems This study was aimed to find out the effects of Kindergarten education on primary school child's learning achievement and it's continuance. The specific question to be investigated in this study can he summarized as follows. 1. How did the kindergarten education effect upon primary school child's learning achievement and behavioral development? 2. How did the differences of learning achievement and behavioral development between groups of children attending kindergarten and not attending kindergarten? Methods 1. Subjects One hundred and twenty children of sixth grade and one hundred primary school's teachers were employed 1) Sixty of children were experimented groups who had received kindergarten education. Sixty of Children are Control group who had not received Kindergarten education. The subjects were sampled in N primary school in seoul and Y primary school in Taejeon. Sixty of children were boys and sixty of children were girls. 2) Fifty of teachers were sampled in N primary school in Seoul and Fifty of teachers were sampled in Y primary school in Taejeon. 2. Instrument 1) School cumulative record. School cumulative record was referred to find out the differences of school records on learning achievement in morality, National language, social studies, arithmatics, natural science, gymnastics, music, fine arts and behavioral development in industry, responsibility, coorperation, indeperdence, law abiding spirit between experimental group and control group. 2) Questionnaire paper which constructed 10 articles. Questionnaire paper asked to primary school teachers for effects of kindergarten education. Results The results of date analysis can summarized as follows. 1. Kindergarten education, generally, is regarded effective at least for school work achievement but not so effective for morality and physical education. 2. Kindergarten education is not so effective in all school works of primary school in its continuance since its effectiveness begins to fade away from the 4th grade of primary school. But such continuance tends to be outstanding especially in national language, social subjects and arts. 3. The experiences of kindergarten education is not much helpful to behavioral development during primary school. 4. Primary school teachers recognize that kindergarten education contributes to curriculum work and behavioral development for primary school children.

  • It is necessary to use industrial oriented equipment, as well as lecturer who has field experience, textbook and materials for engineering education which meets the change of industrial technology. Current education equipment is composed of general purposed equipment which are used for teaching with ease and convenience instead of field oriented achieving technology. The leads to failure of engineering education to keep up with the change of industrial technology, making engineering education stay far away from field oriented education. This study looks at the case of development of education equipment which takes an important role in engineering education, and suggests the ways of development and utilization of engineering education equipment by analyzing the effects of education when the equipment are used in the education.
