In the current product and fashion design, the 'eco-friendliness' is affecting practically and conceptually on all the sectors of industry and culture. Therefore, this study seeks to examine specific values in the concept of eco-friendly design. The subjects of this paper are studied on the scholarly journals, and are confined to those from 1990, when naturalism and ecology trend started to be in product and fashion, to the moment of search of February 2009. This study used 'Naturalism', 'Green', 'Environment-friendly', 'Eco', 'Sustainable', 'Well-being' and 'Lohas' as key words for the search. Analysis is performed by content analysis and the unit of analysis was based upon the adjectives, nouns and phrases which is related key words in the concept of eco-friendly design. The study realized that there are personal value, environmental value, economic value, and social value in the concept of eco-friendly design. In the result, it is not enough to consider the effect on environment only. Understanding the personal, environmental, economic, and social value from the viewpoint of customers, finding the optimal design factors, and reflecting them in development of product and fashion are necessary to pave the way for advanced eco-friendly design. The results of this paper would help to the future product and fashion development for eco-friendly brands.

Nowadays, there are increasing demands of golf courses and it is necessary to make more golf courses than the present. To do this, we need to improve the environmental problems with the regional inhabitants, and it is said that the first thing to be considered in developing any golf course in Korea is to preserve the environment. In this context, the purpose of this study is to set forth several design factors to lessen the negative impacts which are accompanied with the development of golf courses. 1. The present conditions of golf courses in Korea Many new golf courses have come into being, particularly since the late 1980s, and now, in the year of 1997, over one hundred of golf courses are doing their business, yet the number of golf course is still less than required. So far, over a half of them have been made in the vicinity of Seoul on account of various reasons, and this has adversely affected on our natural environment. This unreasonable development of golf courses has caused serious water pollution, landslides and the other problems. Also, the topography of Korea is not good for golf courses. Although the demands of golf courses are increasing, the suitable sites for them are very limited, and therefore it is sometimes unavoidable to make golf courses on steep hills. "The engineering education program for environmental intention and value creation" has been executed from 2008 to 2010 in Suzuka National College of Technology, which program was promoted as "Good Practice for Education" by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Japan. "Eco-car project" is one of these practical ecology/environment education programs. The project's members have been learning and researching the environmental managements by the process of design, manufacturing, and assembly of solar car, highly effective fuel consumption car (Eco-run car), electric vehicle and fuel-cell car. Also this project was supported by some professional experts of the local industries and community. The students learned the actual industrial technique, the engineering management and the structure of local industries by this project. In this paper, the environmental intention engineering design education with local industry collaboration is introduced.

The world has been demanding a green growing world in order to solve serious environmental pollution and resource depletion. This study aims to identify life style factors that drive eco-friendly clothing practices and efficacy in middle school students. Data was collected from 215 middle school students in Daegu, using a self-administered questionnaire in December 2013. Statistical analyses to determine frequency, average, ANOVA, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and regression analysis were performed using SPSS 21 program. The results of factor analysis indicated that eco-friendly clothing practices were classified into purchasing and management, reuse, washing, and recycle, and eco-friendly clothing practices efficacy was sub-grouped into practice confidence, purchasing and management efficacy, and washing and sharing efficacy, and life style consisted of fashion pursuit, environment pursuit, planned purchasing, and economy. Eco-friendly clothing practices and efficacy were significant differences in sex and grade (p<0.05). Eco-friendly clothing practices were significantly affected by the factors of environment pursuit, planned purchasing, economy of life style, and the factors of practice confidence, purchasing and management efficacy, and washing and sharing efficacy of eco-friendly clothing practices efficacy (p<0.05). The planned purchasing factor of life style significantly affected all the factors of eco-friendly clothing practices efficacy. This study suggests that eco-friendly clothing practices education program could account for the life style factors such as fashion pursuit, environment pursuit, planned purchasing, and economy with gender and grade to be effective for middle school students.

Purpose - This paper discusses the effectiveness of EcoFarmer in Zimbabwe. The effectiveness of EcoFarmer still needs to be established because it is a new product that is hardly a month old. Research design, data, and methodology - The paper follows a qualitative research methodology and an exploratory approach to establish the effectiveness of EcoFarmer in the promotion of productivity in the agricultural sector in Zimbabwe. Using an Internet-based literature review, the paper explored the link that exists between Econet's EcoFarmer program and agricultural development in Zimbabwe. Results - The findings are that the innovation promotes agricultural productivity. This is in line with what was established by Safaricom Foundation in Kenya. Conclusions - The paper used literature sources because the phenomenon is exploratory. This limitation could have been avoided by using a field survey. The paper shows that the EcoFarmer is an innovative project that was developed by Econet as a replication of the Kenyan program.

Tarim River is the biggest inland river in China, its problem of eco-environment is worsening in the lower reach. For keeping this trend within limits, the measure of emergent water transportation to the lower reach was taken. In this paper, the remote sensing technology will be applied to the analysis of eco-environment effect after water transportation. The result is: the vegetation index and cover ratio increased but not markedly, the eco-environment situation can't been improved obviously up to now. It is some effective but temporary . The continuity, quality and quality of water source for the Tarim River must been ensured.

The subject of this study, Eco-friendly Polyurethane Waterproofing Membrane Coating of Exposed Type is manufactured by replacing environmental hazardous substance such as Toluene, Dioctyl Phthalate with Dimethyl Carbonate, waste-soybean oil. As part of existing filler is also replaced with waste-rubber chip and waste-soybean oil. As a result of environment friendly tests, in test of detection of VOCs case was contented with the Ministry of Environment standards at 5% below. Testing methods for heavy metal extracted was contented with standards for official wastes test method. So it is judged that environment friendly is secured.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate an environmental education model school and to devise proper plans for school management through the school eco-audit. The results of this study are as follows. Firstly, environmental education model school is analysed from view point of planning and executing. So that, environmental education model school put emphasis on executing rather than planning. It requires to emphasis planning, for example, establishing environment management system, ecological measures, environment reporting. Secondly, environmental education model school is in the incipient stage as the environment prevention. The preparation for planning is inefficient compared to the ecological pretest of school eco-audit. In the aspect of ecological measures and education, the participant of all the school staff is unsatisfactory. In conclusion, the school eco-audit could be presented as a key role for establishing basic organizational conditions, ecological measures and education for sustainable development, It is necessary to drive environmental education model school to achieve extended effect for sustainable society.

A new possibility for helping regional residents to establish the identity based on the history, culture and environment of the region and harmonizing art and culture in daily life can be seen from eco-museum. Unique cultural inheritances for each region exist not only in our nation but everywhere around the world, and Cheonan region is continuously attracting tourists from other regions as a home of the Independence Hall, Yu Gwan Sun Memorial, and live branches of independent activists with important inheritances such as tourist attractions and national treasures. However, despite unique environment of the region and inheritances with high academic values, lack of basic guides and explanations place the region in an environment that is difficult to approach. The purpose of this study is to systematically investigate regional inheritances based on the concept of eco-museum as an alternative for such problem recognition and to examine problems of inheritances scarred around Cheonan region based on their current status. The author of this study aims to analyze the investigated regional inheritances, rearrange their values and suggest possibilities for continued preservation and utilization.
