유아교육기관에서의 직무 스트레스가 유아교사의 행복감과 교직에 대한 열정에 미치는 영향 (Impact of Teacher's Occupational Stress on Their Sense of Happiness and Enthusiasm for Teaching Profession in Early Childhood Education Institutions)

  • 본 연구는 유아교육기관에서의 직무 스트레스가 유아교사의 행복감과 교직 열정에 미치는 영향을 비교 분석해보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 경기도 지역 유아교사 321명을 대상으로 교사의 직무 스트레스, 유아교사의 행복감, 교직 열정에 대한 설문도구를 사용하여 연구 자료를 수집하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 직무 스트레스 수준에 따른 유아교사의 행복감에는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 직무 스트레스 수준에 따른 유아교사의 교직에 대한 전체적 열정에는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없었으나, 하위요인별로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 셋째, 직무 스트레스가 유아교사의 행복감과 교직에 대한 열정에 미치는 영향을 알아본 결과 행복감에는 모두 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미쳤으며, 교직열정에는 교직열정전체를 제외한 하위요인 모두에서 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 교사와 영유아가 모두 행복한 교실환경을 조성하기 위한 방안 마련에 기초 자료를 제공하는 데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

초보간호사의 대인관계능력, 직무 스트레스, 스트레스 대처유형이 이직의도에 미치는 영향: 직무 스트레스를 중심으로 (Impact of Interpersonal Relationship Ability, Job Stress, and Stress Coping Type on Turnover Intention of Nurses in the Early Stage of their Careers: Focusing on Job Stress)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to examine the effects of interpersonal relationship ability, job stress, and stress coping type on the turnover intention of nurses in the early stage of their careers. Methods: Data were collected from 136 early stage nurses from two general hospitals and one tertiary hospital in Chungbuk province. An early stage nurse was defined as the nurse with a work experience of 3 to 36 months. The collected data were analyzed using independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Mann-Whitney U test, Person's correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: It was seen that turnover intention had a negative correlation with interpersonal competency (r=-.20, p=.020) and a positive correlation with job stress (r=.56, p<.001). Job stress due to work over load, inadequate compensation and working environment, interpersonal relationship ability, and length of clinical career were significant factors influencing turnover intention (p<.05). These variables explained for 50.4% of the variance in turnover intention. Conclusion: It is necessary to develop an interpersonal relationship ability improvement program to decrease turnover intention among early stage nurses by helping them to successfully adapt to their job. Moreover, it is important to bring about continuous improvements in terms of provision of adequate workload and appropriate rewards, and creation of a suitable work environment to reduce the job stress of early stage nurses.

보육실습 현장에서 실습생이 들려주는 스트레스와 대처 (Stress and Coping Associated with an Early Childhood Teacher Education Practicum : The Student Teacher's Perspective)

  • This qualitative study explored the causes of student teacher stress during an early childhood teaching practicum and investigated the ways in which student teachers cope with this stress. Four student teachers in the same practicum placement were individually interviewed. The findings revealed that stress arose over a variety of concerns including both lack of professional knowledge related to the teaching practice and the challenges involved in establishing a positive relationship with their cooperating teacher, the parents and staff. The stress experienced by the student teacher was accompanied by physical symptoms such as exhaustion, fatigue, and the onset of vulnerability to colds. However, the students were found to be generally unsuccessful in managing their stress effectively. The results suggest that attempts to improve the practicum environment should be accompanied by academic interests and practical issues related to these stresses and that there is a clear need for programs designed to assist student teachers develop stress management skills.

산욕 초기 어머니의 스트레스, 불안 및 신생아 지각 간의 관계 (A Correlation Study of Maternal Stress, Anxiety, and Perception of the Newborn in the Early Postpartum Stage)

  • The purpose of this study was to contribute to maternal nursing in early postpartum stage and to neonatal nursing. Data were collected through self-report questionnaires which were constructed to include parental role stress scale, state-trait anxiety scale, and perception of the newborn scale. The subjects consisted of 100 mothers in the early postpartum stage at three hospitals in the Kyoung-In area, from November 8 to December 26, 1997. The data were analyzed by an SPSS program. The results are as follows ; 1. The mean of parental role stress of mothers in the early postpartum stage was 10.70$\pm$2.63. The means of state anxiety and trait anxiety of mothers were 36.29$\pm$8.45 and 38.53$\pm$8.36. The mean of perception of the newborn was 2.65$\pm$5.05, and 59% of mothers rated their newborn as better than the average newborn. 2. The level of parental role stress correlated to the level of state anxiety and trait anxiety. The level of state anxiety and trait anxiety were also related. The level of perception of the newborn was related to the level of state anxiety and trait anxiety. 3. Mothers who did not want the pregnancy, whose newborns were girls, and who already had one child had higher state anxiety than those who did not. Mothers who already had one child, and whose newborn had no specific signs had higher trait anxiety than those who did not. Mothers who professed a religions had a higher perception of the newborn than those who did not. The above findings indicate that the levels of parental role stress, state anxiety, trait anxiety and perception of the newborn of mothers in early postpartum stage were correlated. Therefore nursing intervention for reducing stress and anxiety, and improving perception of the newborn should be provided for mothers in early postpartum stage.

유아교사의 직무스트레스와 그릿이 이직의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Early Childhood Teachers' Job Stress and Grit on Their Turnover Intention)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 유아교사의 직무스트레스와 그릿이 이직의도에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 수도권에 소재한 유아교육기관에서 근무 중인 유아교사 395명을 대상으로 설문지 조사를 실시하여 이직의도, 직무스트레스, 그릿을 측정했다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 22.0을 사용하여 분석했으며 기술통계분석, Pearson 상관분석, 위계적 회귀분석을 실시했다. 연구결과로는 첫째, 유아교사의 직무스트레스가 높을수록 이직의도가 높았으며, 그릿이 높을수록 이직의도가 낮게 나타났다. 둘째, 유아교사 직무스트레스와 그릿은 이직의도에 유의한 영향을 주었으며, 직무스트레스의 하위요인 중 행정지원, 업무관련, 경제적 안정, 시설실비는 부적 영향을 미친 반면, 그릿은 정적 영향을 주는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 유아교사의 이직은 유아와 유아교육의 질 및 자신에게 부정적 영향을 줄 수 있으므로, 본 연구결과는 직무스트레스를 감소시키고 그릿을 증진시키는 노력이 요구됨을 시사한다.

학령 초기 아동의 미디어 이용시간과 어머니의 양육스트레스가 학교적응에 미치는 종단적 영향: 집행기능 곤란의 매개효과 (Longitudinal Effects of Media Usage by Early School-age Children and Maternal Parenting Stress on School Adjustment: Mediating Effect of Executive Function Difficulty)

  • This study examined the longitudinal effects of media usage by early school-age children and of maternal parenting stress on children's school adjustment. The study focused on the mediating effect of executive function difficulty. Longitudinal data to examine the hypothetical model were drawn from the eighth (2015) through tenth (2017) waves of the Panel Study of Korean Children (PSKC) collected by the Korea Institute of Child Care and Education (KICCE). A total of 581 children (293 boys and 288 girls) and their mothers were included. Confirmatory factor analysis, structural equation model, and bootstrapping analysis were applied using SPSS 25.0 and Amos 26.0. The results are as follows. First, no significant correlation was found between early school-age children's media usage and maternal parenting stress. Second, neither media usage by early school-age children nor maternal parenting stress were found to directly affect children's school adjustment. Third, media usage by early school-age children and maternal parenting stress were shown to indirectly affect children's school adjustment via executive function difficulties. In other words, higher levels of media usage by early school-age children and maternal parenting stress during the first grade lead to greater executive function difficulties after a year, which, in turn, lead to a lower level of school adjustment in the third grade. This study indicates the need to develop practical support for the psychological wellbeing of mothers while they are performing their role as a parent and for children in maintaining suitable levels of media usage during early childhood.

Up-regulation of Early Growth Response-1 Expression by Endoplasmic Reticulum Stress

  • Endoplasmic reticulum (ER) plays formation of disulfide bonds and proper folding of secretory proteins. Cellular responses to ER stress enhances the stress-activated kinase pathway and the induces a lot of immediate-early genes. Among of them, the early growth response-1 (Egr-1), a transcription factor, which plays an important role in cell growth, development, differentiation, apoptosis and various types of injury. For that reason, we have tested the expression of Egr-1 against ER stress inducible drugs (tunicamycin, DTT, A23187 and BFA) to understand what kind of aspect occurred by ER stresses.

어머니의 양육스트레스와 부부 간 의사소통, 유아의 유아교육기관 적응 간의 구조적 관계 (Structural Relationship Between Maternal Parenting Stress, Marital Communication, and School Adaptation in Early Childhood of Young Children)

  • 본 연구는 어머니의 양육스트레스가 유아의 유아교육기관 적응에 미치는 영향을 알아보고, 어머니의 양육스트레스와 유아의 유아교육기관 적응 간의 관계에서 부부 간 의사소통의 매개효과를 검증하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 대상은 전북 J시에 거주하는 유아 219명과 그들의 어머니이다. 본 연구에서 수집된 데이터는 spss 21.0, amos 21.0으로 분석하였으며, 구조방정식 모형을 통해 매개효과를 검증하였다. 본 연구결과는 첫째, 어머니의 양육스트레스와 부부 간 의사소통은 유아의 유아교육기관 적응에 직접적인 영향력을 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니의 양육 스트레스와 유아의 유아교육기관 적응 관계에서 부부 간 의사소통은 매개효과를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 양육스트레스 감소와 긍정적인 부부 간 의사소통의 중요성에 대한 방안을 논의하였다.

유아교사의 직무스트레스와 이직의도의 관계에서 직무만족의 매개효과 (Effects of Early Childhood Teacher job stress on the turnover intention and job satisfaction)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 유아교사의 직무스트레스와 직무만족이 이직의도에 미치는 영향력을 살펴보고, 직무스트레스와 이직의도의 관계에서 직무만족의 매개효과를 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위하여 유아교사 220명을 대상으로 설문조사하여, 자료처리를 SPSS 19.0을 이용하여 분석하였고, 독립변인이 종속변인을 예측하는 유용한 변인인지를 알아보기 위해 단순회귀분석과 중다회귀 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 유아교사의 이직의도에 대한 직무스트레스와 직무만족의 영향력을 분석한 결과, 직무스트레스 하위요인 중 원장의 지도력 및 행정적 지원 부족과 업무과부하로 인해 스트레스를 높게 지각하며 이직의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 직무만족의 하위요인 중 근무환경과, 직무자체의 특성이 이직의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아교사의 직무스트레스와 이직의도의 관계에서 직무만족이 부분매개효과를 거의 갖지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 매개효과 검증을 위해 sobel test를 실시한 결과, 매개변인의 효과가 유의미 하지 않은 것으로 나타났다.

Nutrient requirement for maintenance and nutritional changes of the Hanwoo steers in early-fattening stage under heat stress

  • Four early-fattening Hanwoo steers weighing $247{\pm}13.5kg$ were used within a $4{\times}4$ Latin square design to establish a nutrient requirement for maintenance and to investigate nutritional changes in the steers under heat stress condition. The steers were fed four different energy level diets: 100% (control) and 100%, 115% and 130% of total digestible nutrients (TDN) requirement of the early-fattening Hanwoo steers for maintenance based on the Korean Feeding Standard for Hanwoo. The steers in the control were housed with no stress (temperature $24^{\circ}C$ and humidity 60%), whereas the steers in the other groups were under heat stress (temperature $30^{\circ}C$ and humidity 70%). True digestibilities of dry matter (DM) and other nutrients were not significantly (p > 0.05) affected by heat stress (i.e., control vs T100). This may be the result of a lower DM intake than that of the Korean feeding standard due to the establishment of the nutrients requirement under heat stress. Heat stress and different energy intake levels did not affect the blood metabolite concentrations. Average daily gain (ADG) for T100 (-69.6 g) was lower than that of the control (-44.6 g, numerically), T115 (44.6 g, p < 0.05) and T130 (83.3 g, p < 0.05), respectively. Based on the ADG and TDN intake, the equation (Y = 0.1814X + 111.5) for the TDN requirement of the early fattening Hanwoo steers for maintenance was calculated, indicating that 11.5% of TDN requirement for maintenance under heat stress may be additionally supplied.
