본 연구는 통일대비 유아교육제도의 방향성 정립을 위해 남 북한 유아교육제도를 비교 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 다양한 영역에서의 통합을 위한 교육적 대안을 제시하고자 한다. 남 북한 유아교육제도의 비교는 유아교육의 의무교육 및 공교육, 유아교육기관 운영, 유아교육에 대한 행정 및 공적지원체계측면에서 이루어졌다. 연구결과 남 북한 유아교육제도는 서로 다른 양 체제의 사회적인 성격과 이념의 차이로 인해 유사점보다는 여러 영역에서 많은 차이점을 드러냈다. 남 북한 유아교육제도를 비교한 연구결과에 비추어 다음과 같은 시사점을 도출하였다. 첫째, 남 북한 유아교육제도의 동질성 회복을 위한 노력의 일환으로 만 3-5세 유아교육에서의 유아교육-보육 간 통합을 위한 노력의 필요성이다. 둘째, '유아공교육화'와 함께 만 3-5세 유아교육을 기본 학제 속에 포함시키기 위한 논의의 필요성이다. 또한 통일대비 남 북한 상호교류를 통한 협력을 강화하여 이질성을 극복하고, 남 북한 유아교육제도의 장점을 살린 새로운 제도를 구성하고자 노력하는 것이 필요하다 할 것이다.

This study investigates design strategies for improving the educational quality of multimedia contents for early childhood education. It emphasizes both traditional education theory and developmental aspects in its exploration of interactive and educational qualitative multimedia contents for early children. Accordingly, for an effective early childhood education, it is necessary to experience of the playful learning for the conception of ideas and the understanding of the social life. Because this study 1) possibility of multimedia contents for early childhood education, 2) computer application method for early childhood education, 3) examines used in the designing of multimedia contents for early childhood education according to traditional education theory. Multimedia early childhood education system is possible to organize information such as test, image, sound and video based on hyperlink system. I use Microsoft's Ms-office and Asymetrix's ToolBook software that are useful for hyperlink and parameter. Multimedia contents and other pages are used by Dynamic Data Exchange(DDE). Therefore multimedia contents for early childhood education is a useful tool for students of early childhood education department, parents, and children.

In this study, the investigator distributed total 100 questionnaires by childcare center teachers in final analysis. The purposes of the study were to examine teachers' perceptions of early childhood music education provided by childcare centers or kindergartens and also the difficulties they experienced with the instruction of early childhood music education and thus provide basic data to develop an educational program for early childhood teachers and search for a direction in early childhood music education in the field of education. The findings were summarized as follows: Both kindergarten and childcare center teachers showed a high perception level of need for and importance of early childhood music education. The teachers thought that early childhood music education facilitated the development of young children across all areas and promoted their pleasure and expressive abilities. Providing music education, the teachers faced difficulties due to the lack of musical knowledge, basic musical skills, and experiences with and confidence in musical activities. They also felt a need for teacher education.

This study examined educational and career backgrounds of 180 early childhood English teachers and curricula of training courses for early childhood English teachers in continuing education centers across 6 areas in Korea. Data analyses showed that (1) curricula for early childhood English teachers consists of basic practical conversation, English teaching skills, understanding early childhood education and general English knowledge. (2) Most teachers are women between 30 to 40 years of age, university graduates with majors in English literature, English education and/or early childhood education with confidence in speaking in and listening to English. (3) They were satisfied with their retraining courses. (4) English pronunciation skill was not always related to English conversation skill, but clarity of pronunciation influenced teaching confidence.

The purpose of this research was to provide recommendations for eco-centered early childhood education as a new paradigm in Korean society. Questionnaires were collected from directors, teachers, and parents of private & public kindergartens, as well as child care centers, in Bucheon city. The data were analyzed based on the frequencies, $X^2$ test, F test, and Scheffe test. The results were as follows. (a) Most directors, teachers, and parents positively agreed with the eco-centered early childhood education and recognized its benefits. (b) In order for the eco-centered early childhood education to be successful, development of various programs, systematic study, ongoing teacher training, and parents' education were required. (c) In order for the eco-centered early childhood education to develop more culturally appropriate program, close connection with local community, reorganization of the early childhood education curriculum, and government support were needed. The findings demonstrate that eco-centered early childhood education is necessary for the future wellbeing of Korean society.

교육과정은 역사적으로 각 시대의 사상과 철학, 문화의 영향으로 교과중심, 경험중심, 학문중심, 인간중심, 관계중심 교육과정으로 변천하여 왔다. 본 논문에서는 우리나라 유치원 교육과정의 변천을 고찰하고, 특히 2007년 개정 유치원 교육과정의 수학영역과 미국 NCTM (National Council of Mathematics)의 유치원 수학교육과정을 비교 분석하여, 현재 연구 중인 제 7차 유치원 교육과정의 수학영역에서 내용과 과정, 계열을 정하는데 있어서 문화적, 사회적, 인지적으로 적합하고 적절한 제언을 하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to compare the perceptions and needs for nutrition education between early childhood teachers and parents. This data will address the effective plans and suggest further nutrition education programs for early childhood education centers. This study was conducted with 200 early childhood teachers and 174 parents in Busan. We collected data through questionnaires from teachers and parents and then computed the frequency and ${\chi}^2$ test to analyze the data. The questionnaire was revised and complemented on the basis of related literatures and previous researches. According to our results in this study, there was a significant difference between the teachers' and parents' perceptions on the need of nutrition education and the reason for needing nutrition education. And there were differences among aims, contents, methods, and effective ways of nutrition education for children. In addition, there was a significant difference among the needs from teachers and parents on nutrition education. Finally, the results of this study suggest various implications for developing nutrition education programs in early childhood education centers. These results can be used to develop nutrition education program by considering the teachers' and parents' perceptions and needs. These may be useful data when planning for the nutrition curriculum in early childhood education centers.

유아 소프트웨어 교육에 대한 관심과 논의가 지속적으로 이루어지고 있는 시점에서, 본 연구는 유아 소프트웨어 교육프로그램을 적용하고 이를 통해 소프트웨어 교육 효과성과 컴퓨팅 사고력 함양에 관해 분석하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 컴퓨팅 사고력 함양이라는 소프트웨어 교육의 궁극적인 목적을 달성을 할 수 있도록 소프트웨어 교육 내용 요소와 컴퓨팅 사고력 요소가 균형 있게 분포하고 있는 교육 프로그램을 적용하였다. 이를 통해 체험과 놀이 활동을 하며 자연스럽게 사고하는 방법을 일깨워 주고 문제를 발견하고 스스로 해결책을 찾아내는 경험을 할 수 있는 교육을 진행하였다. 연구 결과 본 연구에서 적용한 교육프로그램이 유아의 소프트웨어 교육 효과성과 컴퓨팅 사고력 함양에 도움을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 컴퓨팅 사고력을 함양할 수 있는 체계적인 유아 소프트웨어 교육을 위한 교육 프로그램을 제안하였다.

This study was practiced in order to develop a textbook to improve early childhood teachers' ability to use multimedia required by kindergartens and to examine its effects. First, investigation of the status of multimedia application of early childhood teachers in kindergartens was done along with looking through their attitude and anxiety. The expertise and the multimedia education was required in early childhood education and curriculum. As a result, 15 categories and 50 subcategories under 4 themes were drawn through the procedures of qualitative analysis. The conclusions obtained through this study were the following: First, the education for multimedia application related to the tasks required in kindergartens is needed instead of the common education for multimedia application, to improve the ability to use multimedia for early childhood teachers. Second, multimedia education based on visual theory for the purpose of early childhood education, rather than common features-centered multimedia education, is helpful for the improvement of early childhood teachers' ability to use multimedia. Finally, the improvement of early childhood teachers' ability to use multimedia will be a chance to provide children with a better educational environment.

본 연구는 유아멀티미디어 교육에 참여한 예비유아교사들의 경험과 사고를 이해하기 위하여 유아멀티미디어 교육과정에서 나타난 변화과정에 대해서 분석하였다. 2012년 8월 27일부터 11월 26일까지 총 14주 동안 7차에 걸쳐 예비유아교사의 반성적 저널쓰기, 소그룹 토의를 실시하였다. 연구 자료를 바탕으로 영역분석과 주제 분석을 실시한 결과 첫째, 예비유아교사들은 멀티미디어 교육을 통해 기존의 멀티미디어에 대한 안목과 인식의 변화를 경험하였다. 둘째, 예비유아교사들은 유아에게 멀티미디어를 제공하는 것에 대해 유아들이 교육현장 이외의 곳에서 많은 멀티미디어를 접할 것이라는 것에 동의하며 피할 수 없는 것이라고 인식하고 있었다. 셋째, 예비유아교사들은 멀티미디어 교육과 관련된 수업에 관하여 멀티미디어와 유아교육을 연결시키지 못하였으며 교육적으로 사용하는 것에 대한 부담을 가지고 있었다. 넷째, 예비유아교사들은 유아 멀티미디어 교육에 관한 수업을 받으면서 멀티미디어에 대한 부정적인 생각들이 긍정적으로 바뀌는 것을 경험하면서 멀티미디어에 대한 구체적인 교육을 요구하고 있었다.
