Work performance and human error are complicated phenomena so that it is very difficult to grasp the true nature of them. However, Event Related Potential (ERP) may give a clue to them because human brain reflects diverse psychophysiological process. In the present study, the possibility of ERP application to the ergonomic area was evaluated in view of grasping error symptoms. For that purpose, the subjects were asked to count specific characters in a random character matrix on a computer monitor, and their ERP was compared with their performance data. Based upon the results, the amplitude of P300 was not so high as that in the case of the Odd Ball tasks, correct response corresponded with stable ERP with high P300 amplitude whereas wrong response did with unstable, fluctuating ERP with low P300 amplitude. Those results coincided with the work performance, and it was concluded that 3-wave fluorescent with illumination level of 800 lux would be recommendable for the counting task in concern. Conclusively, ERP including P300 might supply an objective clue to the problem of human errors in cognitive process.

정보 시스템을 구축하기 위하여 ERP 패키지를 도입하는 경우 패키지의 표준 기능과 해당 기업의 요구 사항간의 편차가 존재하므로, 이를 최소화하기 위하여 Process Mapping을 통한 Configuration의 수행과 업무 프로세스의 변화가 수반되어야 한다. Structuring은 ERP 패키지에서 제공되는 프로세스 모델과 기업의 요구 사항 간의 편차를 최소화 하여 바람직한 기업의 업무 모델을 정립하고 이를 지원하는 ERP 시스템 운영을 최적화하는 과정으로서, 이러한 Structuring이 불충분하게 수행될 경우 많은 예외적 경우들을 발생시키게 되어 시스템의 운영 및 사용을 매우 복잡하고 어렵게 할 수 있으며, 업무 프로세스의 지속적인 발전을 억제할 수도 있다. 본 연구는 ERP 패키지를 도입한 국내 자동차 부품업체의 ERP 패키지 도입 사례를 대상으로 하여 Structuring 진행 과정을 분석하여 효과적 Structuring 수행방안을 탐색하고, 이러한 결과가 해당 기업의 경쟁우위에 어떤 영향을 미치는 지를 규명하고자 한다. 또한 위의 결과를 기반으로 ERP 시스템 구현 및 도입 이후, 활용 및 유지 보수에 이르는 시스템 Lifecycle을 통하여 적용되는 Structuring에 대한 현실적 가이드라인을 제시하고자 한다.

An enterprise resource planning (ERP) system is an enterprise wide management system made possible by information technology. Organizations have been implementing ERP packages for integrating the business process in various functions. ERP has been helping companies to automate their entire business processes within the organization as a whole instead of just in some functional units. This paper presents five case studies indicating that enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems do enhance the performance of manufacturing organizations. The ERP systems studied are from SAP, Baan, and Oracle. In all five cases, better cross-functional integration was a critical success factor.

Accounting is a practical study as a fundamental of a corporate management. In recent years, the necessity of 'Engineering Accounting' and 'Accounting and Society' for non management and accounting major is on the rise. To accelerate the learning effect of accounting, the individual learning and learning by repetition is required. And ERP practice is on the rise as a new trend. The e-learning will be helpful to the individual learning and learning by repetition. The learner study repeatedly and individually by e-learning, and then practice the accounting process by ERP practice. It's also adoptable for Engineering Accounting to use repeated and individual study using e-learning and ERP practice. This paper is focused on the case study of Engineering Accounting using e-learning and ERP practice in Korea University of Technology and Education. To review this case, the development direction of the accounting education and engineering accounting education will be introduced.

Currently, many companies are trying to be more competitive by implementing the most appropriate software package called ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning). ERP can support the company's business process. A manufacturing execution system (MES) is an industrial software system, as well as a manufacturing management function in make-to-order and make-to-stock manufacturing environments. This paper presents an architecture of MES. This study develops MES to identify the functional requirements of loading & scheduling in the automobile industry. This study shows the effectiveness of the proposed MES, how to develop MES and interface with ERP package.

A number of companies tries to transform into e-business organizations in order to enhance their productivity dramatically and create a new value for their customers. Even thought IT invenstment is essential to be an e-business company, it costs a great deal for mid-sized or small-sized companies. Thus, this study suggests a cost-saving and web-based IT outsourcing, application service provider (ASP) that is an applicable model to transform a traditional company into an e-business company. Although companies under mid-size are considering the ASP method when introducing ERP system, ASP is not widespread yet. Therefore, this study analyzes the actual cases of domestic firms which successfully implemented ASP-ERP and investigates the pros and cons of ASP method.

ERP, a typical enterprise application, helps companies to increase their productivity and to support their decision makings. ERP is composed of diverse functions that are optimized under PC environment, whereas the ERP applications on a mobile platform have many constraints such as a small screen, limited resolution, and computing power. Because all the functions of a ERP legacy system are not required for ERP on a mobile device, the core functions of the ERP system should be selected to increase system efficiency. In this study, two main methods were used; interviews and log analyses. The end users using a ERP system were interviewed for their perceptions, and log data analyses were made for the hitting number of specific ERP functions. The differences between the actual usage based on log data and users' cognitive preferences about ERP functions were analysed. Finally, the functional differences between users' perception and actual usage were suggested for some practical implications.

Currently, many organizations introduce ERP system as a key enabler of business strategic accomplishment and it can improve productivity and efficiency of organizations by integration and managing enterprise resources. Already many organizations have introduce ERP system and the number of introduced ERP system is increasing steadily. Unfortunately, even though organizations have invested much money, previous studies showed the ERP systems had not always turned in good result. It is easy to find studies that suggest successful implementing strategies for ERP systems. Even if the importance of ERP change management has been emphasized, studies for change management are seldom. This study reviewed the previous literature on strategic use of change management in enterprise. In order to establish a successful implementation of ERP, this paper suggests proper solutions to conduct change management according to implementation phase with activity and output, especially analyzing successful organizations in implementing ERP system through consistent change management.

Recently mother company-driven informatization projects have been widely launched for the suppliers. Setting up a proprietary evaluation system for the level of informatization of the suppliers, a mother company provides both financial and consulting supports for the suppliers in order to enhance the utilization level of the ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) system. With the utilization level enhanced, the whole collaboration network will create a competitive advantage to win over global competition. This paper investigates critical success factors for ERP operational performances through a Samsung Electronics case study. The result of the case study may provide valuable feedback to the strategic decision making and fundamental insights for these collaboration efforts.
