Polyamine was synthesized for the drinking water treatment. Polyamine was produced by the two step polycondensation of dimethytamine(DMA) and epichlorohydrin(EPI) and its properties were characterized. The effects of mole ratio of (DMA1/1EPl), reaction temperature and reaction time on synthesis of polyamine were investigated. Polyamine flocculant was applied to Nak-dong river raw water to examine its efficiency in reducing turbidity. The synthesized polyamine was effective as flocculant for drinking water treatment. The addition of 1 mg/L of polyamlne flocculant caused the reduction of 50% PAC (polyaluminium chloride).

A quantum-wire field effect transistor(QW-FET) using asymmetric double InGaAs channel and Si-delta doped barrier has been fabricated. It exhibited good modulation and saturation characteristic in the range of ${\mu}\textrm{A}$ current level. For estimated channel width of 150nm QW-FET, maximum transconductance was about 400 mS/mm which is higher than a conventional heterostructure FET(HFET) with the same epi-structure.

Purpose： To obtain quantitative diffusion-tensor anisotropy information of human cerebral structu using turbo STEAM diffusion-tensor imaging. Method： Quantitative diffusion anisotropy MR images were obtained in 7 healthy adults using turbo STEAM sequence and a combination of tetrahedral and orthogonal diffusi gradients. Both relative anisotropy(RA) and fractional anisotropy(FA) values were measured various brain regions. The anisotropy index was then compared with the reported valu resulting from EPI-based diffusion tensor imaging.

Four stereoisomers of inositol p-aminosalicylate, that is hexaris-O-(p-aminosalicylyl)-myo-inositol, hexaris-O-(p-aminosalicylyl)-muco-inositol were synthesized by p-aminosalicylyl chloride with myo-, epi-, scyllo-, and muco-inositol respectively. Their antibacterial activity was tested against human type tubercle bacilli $H_{37}$/Rv, in contrast to 1.25.gamma./ml of p-aminosalicylic acid used as control. Hexaris-O-(p-aminoslicylyl)-muco-inositol showed the strongest antibacterial action at 0.625.gamma./ml, the other compounds more or less active than p-aminosalicylic acid.

목적： Writer's cramp를 가진 환자와 정상 성인에서 뇌 활성화를 비교 하고자 한다. 대상 및 방법： Writer's cramp를 가진 1명의 환자와 정상 성인 4명에서 글을 쓰는 과제를 시행하여 관련된 대뇌영역의 활성화를 유도하였다. resting, writering을 반복하는 자극을 시행하였다. 자기공명영상은 3.0T 초전도 자기공명 영상장치에서 EPI BOLD기법을 이용하여 얻었다. 영상 후 처리는 SPM 분석 프로그램을 사용하였다.
