A Study for successful EIP(Enterprise Information Portal) construction: An analysis on the case of S company' EIP construction (성공적인 EIP(Enterprise Information Portal) 구축을 위한 연구: S(사) 구축사례 분석)

  • Performing a survey on the employers of S company that have built an EIP and used it effectively, we examined the priority of success factors that are considered as important ones by managers, general users, and system administrators. Then, we examined whether the priorities are different among the users of EIP according to the job, position, and period of use. Further, we looked into how the past and present EIP system of S company implemented the factors that took the first and the second places in priority for each of the four categories; the category of factors considered at the in of determining whether to build the system, the category of system functions provided in general, the category of functions provided with high priority when the system is used after the building, md the category of factors that make effective use of the system once it is built.

  • 지난 몇 년간 인터넷의 확산과 더불어 기업 환경에는 많은 변화가 있었다. 그 중 하나가 전자적인 형태로 접근할 수 있는 정보 양의 급증이라 할 수 있다. (Martin White, 2000 : 신학철, 2001) E-business 환경에서 이처럼 정보의 양이 급증함에 따라 정보의 효율적인 활용은 기업의 주요 경쟁원천이 되고 있다. 정보의 중요성을 깨달은 기업들은 운영효율성 증가를 위해 백오피스시스템과 프론트오피스시스템 등에 많은 투자를 했다. (안승용, 2001) 하지만 새로운 정보시스템 도입 시 레거시시스템과의 통합을 고려하지 않아 업무효율성 향상을 위한 정보기술이 역으로 업무수행을 저해하는 결과를 초래했다. (Jaydip, 2002) 예컨대 기업의 각 시스템간에 정보의 일관성이 결여되어 있고, 필요한 정보 역시 기업내 여러 시스템에 산재되어 있어 정보의 이용 면에서 효율성이 떨어지는 문제에 직면하게 된 것이다 따라서 기업은 각 시스템에 산재해 있는 정보사용의 효율성을 놀이기 위해 기업 내 다양한 정보시스템간 통합의 필요성을 인식함에 따라 이전까지 분산 환경이던 IT환경이 점차 기업정보포탈(Enterprise Information Portal: EIP)같은 통합 환경으로 바뀌게 되었다. (KRG Report, 2002) EIP는 현재와 E-business를 준비하는 기업에 중요한 관심사항으로 떠오르고 있으며 현재 IBM, MS 같은 글로벌 기업 뿐 아니라 다수의 국내 업체들도 통합 솔루션 시장 진출해 경쟁을 벌이고 있다. 본 논문에서는 EIP의 개념을 살펴보고 기존의 정보시스템과 EIP 관련 연구를 기반으로 새롭게 부상하고 있는 EIP의 성과를 시스템 품질과 정보품질로 측정하여 이들 요인이 EIP사용자의 직무성과에 미치는 영향에 관해 연구하였다. 본 논문은 EIP를 도입한 기업을 대상으로 EIP성과에 대한 연구를 진행하여 EIP를 도입하거나 구현중인 기업에게 적합한 경영관리적 방향을 제시할 수 있을 것이다.

  • 본고는 기업정보 포탈 (Enterprise Information Portal : EIP)의 필요성에 대해 일본인 전문가들이 기술한 원고이다. 이글을 통해 일본의 EIP 수준을 알아보고 우리나라의 경우와 비교하여 경쟁력을 가늠해 보고자 한다. 다만 EIP에 대한 개념정리가 주로 다뤄지고 있어 그러한 비교분석만에 초점을 맞춘다는 것이 무리가 있을수 있다. 일본의 시장이나 기술 수준을 평가하기에는 다소 미흡한 점이 있으나 다만 일본에서의 논의되고 있는 수준을 짐작하는데에는 무리가 없을 듯 싶다.

  • Recently, each country has been trying to promote Eco-Industrial Park (EIP) development for industrial sustainability. Technological modeling is required to realize EIP practically even though the project contains the political concerns for many companies, government, and self-governing bodies. The four main technologies of the EIP developments include energy exchange, material flow analysis, water pinch, and life cycle assessment. Material flow analysis (MFA) methodology can be utilized in EIP modeling in view of the fact that the analysis of material flows and the optimized modeling are major purposes for the technological modeling of EIP. Through MFA methodology in POHANG EIP project, how to apply MFA modeling to EIP modeling and how to utilize software for MFA modeling are shown in this research.

  • This study was conducted to provide an improving direction of K-EIP(Korean Eco-Industrial Park) construction project by company's voluntary participation. For this purpose, we investigated and analyzed the status of domestic eco-industrial park projects from various literatures, foreign EIP cases and FGI(Focus Group Interview). The key issues to construct a voluntary K-EIP are the lack of experts, the difficulties of commercialization financing, and so on. In this study, therefore, the programs to resolve these problems in K-EIP construction project were suggested at the level of government and corporation.

Effects of Edible Insect Powders as Meat Partial Substitute on Physicochemical Properties and Storage Stability of Pork Patties

  • In this study, physicochemical and antioxidant properties, and storage stability (1, 3, and 7 days) of pork patties added with edible insect powders (EIP) of four species (Larvae of Tenenbrio molitor, Protaetia brevitarsis seulensis, Allomyrina dichotoma, and Gryllus bimaculatus) as meat partial substitutes were investigated. Twenty percent of each EIP was added to pork patties, and four treatments were prepared. On the other hand, two control groups were set, one with 0.1 g of ascorbic acid and the other without anything. Adding EIP decreased water content but increased protein, fat, carbohydrate, and ash contents. In addition, the use of EIP increased the water holding capacity and texture properties as well as decreased the cooking loss. However, the sensory evaluation and storage stability were negatively affected by the addition of EIP. The 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical scavenging activity had a positive effect on storage stability. It is believed that the addition of EIP resulted in high antioxidants due to the presence of polyphenol compounds in EIP. These results indicate that EIP has great potential to be used as meat partial substitute to improve the quality improvement and antioxidant in pork patties. However, in order to improve storage stability and consumer preference, further research is needed to apply it to patties by reducing the amount of EIP or adding auxiliary ingredients.

  • This paper introduced successful case studies of the EIP (Entrepreneurship Intensive Programs) programs that are planed by 5MBA (Small and Medium Business Administration) and executed by Hoseo University and Jinju National University in 2004. Therefore, the illustrations and examples used in this paper are based on the EIP programs of those schools. Currently there are five graduate schools for Entrepreneurship educations that are originated from the EIP program models and those graduateschools are actively and successfully working. The purpose of this paper is to find out the diffusing strategies of the Entrepreneurship spirits and Entrepreneurship Education programs after careful analysis and review of the EIP programs. The main factors of the Success of the EIP are as follows. First, there were excellent modules of the education process. Second, there were firm and clear goals of the education. Three, there were differentiated contents of the entrepreneurship education programs. Four. each and every education performance was monitored. Five, during the programs, real start-up cases were actually handled and students had many opportunities to present their cases. However, there were some shortcomings to improve and change of the entrepreneurship education. First of all, it was very difficult to make proper education formation that is fit in the purpose of the program. Second, motivating students to find out their own business opportunities so as to turn them into real business was not satisfactory or easy. Third, there were some limitations in distributing and executing the EIP budgets. Therefore, to improve the efficiency of the Entrepreneurship education, following expanding strategies should be complemented. First, continuous redesigning of the entrepreneurship education programs is very important. Second, the specialization of the contents of the entrepreneurship education programs is essential. Third, there should be some discretionary room for the management of the entrepreneurship programs. Fourth, it is also important activating the entrepreneurship networks among schools of the entrepreneurship education. Finally, it is necessary to give some incentives and motivations based on the proper performance evaluation system.

Quality Characteristics of Topokkidduk Added with Enteromorpha intestinalis Powder (파래분말을 첨가한 떡볶이 떡의 품질 특성)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the total polyphenol content and DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl) radical scavenging activity of hot water (EIW) and 80% ethanol (EIE) extracts of Enteromorpha intestinalis and the quality characteristics of Topokkidduk prepared with different amounts (0, 1, 3, and 5%) of Enteromorpha intestinalis powder (EIP). The total polyphenol contents of the EIW and EIE extracts were 2.04 and 6.73 mg tannic acid equivalents (TAE)/g, respectively. The DPPH radical scavenging activities of EIW and EIE were markedly increased in a dose-dependent manner, and were about 19.74% and 81.69%, respectively, at 10 mg/ml. The moisture content was higher at 0% EIP (p<0.05). The L value and the a value of Topokkidduk significantly decreased when the amounts of EIP increased (p<0.05), but the b value of Topokkidduk significantly increased when the amounts of EIP increased (p<0.05). Hardness, chewiness, adhesiveness, springiness, and brittleness increased with increasing EIP concentration. The cohesiveness was higher at 3% EIP, but no significant difference was noted between 0% and 1% EIP. The total polyphenol content and DPPH radical scavenging activity significantly increased upon addition of EIP (p<0.05). A sensory evaluation revealed a higher color, texture, and taste of Topokkidduk in groups containing 0% EIP, but the flavor was highest for Topokkidduk with 0% EIP added. Overall acceptability was higher at 0% EIP, but no significant difference was noted between 0 and 1%. These results suggest that Enteromorpha intestinalis has great potential as a source for natural health products.

  • Practical use of Information Technology in present enterprise simply enterprise support do pass over known dimension and is utilizing by means for enterprise competitive power strengthening. Because of these point, a lot of kind of information systems appeared. It can be said that EIP system that many enterprises are introducing recently is concept that appear to also use information in enterprise more efficiently. If present EIP system sees construct example, segment is detected to improve some. First, should do duplicate development despite it is same function to use EIP system in wireless and web browser environment. Second, can hear management's difficulty by immense contents that happen in System Integration. We wish to solve problem that happen in development of existing EIP system using XUL and a SVG technology in this paper that aim to these. XUL is open source In language to manufacture UI that do not receive court of platform and existence and nonexistence captain rain, support wireless and web browser equipment at the same time to source that is produced once if is browser that can manufacture usable interface in web and supports XUL as user wants. SVG method is a skill that can offer convenience that is epoch-making in contents management by software that describe contents representation in source code unlike form that show because calls contents forming already in the existent bit map room and establishes to browser handles this and expresses contents. In paper, produced use of XUL and SVG by prototype to presented whether can apply XUL and a SVG technology to actuality EIP system and verifies whether this is possible and that do actuality through existent method and comparison and excellency were seen.
