The purpose of this study is to improve expertise and substantiality of teachers by analyzing the level of satisfaction and the needs assessment of e-learning instructional contents on vocational subject at vocational high school. For the above purpose, we carried out a questiones to the 126 teachers and the 646 students in the second and the third grade of vocational high school. As a result, even though teachers knew the e-learning contents, they does not actively use the e-learning contents in class. They feels in need of contents which are able to be reconstructed. Students also prefer the contents focused on problem-solving to prepare for the national academic aptitude test and indirect experiences through simulation ways.

The purpose of this study is to give the preliminary data and suggestion for introducing and spreading e-learning engineering education through analyzing learning behaviors, learning motivations, and satisfaction of e-learning engineering students. Especially, this comparative study analyzes each research domain according to majors and grades, thereby suggesting more specific and practical results. 2,745 students registered in 38 subjects of e-learning in 2 Universities were analyzed for this study. The study result shows that engineering students are attending around 2 e-learning subjects with a duration of about 30 minutes once a week. The main of learning motivation for e-learning was not easy test level and feasibility of acquiring credit but advantages of e-learning such as freedom of time and space, learning by repetition. The satisfaction scores of e-learning were lower compared to the aspects of system and contents Based on these results, first, an active spread of e-learning to engineering education is necessary because the demand from the engineering students is high enough and they have desirable learning behavior and learning motivation for it. Second, the characteristics of grades need to be taken into consideration on operation of e-learning. Third, a successful e-learning process needs more meticulous and active operation.

The purpose of this study is to present a methodology to effectively produce the e-learning contents in two platform types of PC based and mobile based platforms. Currently, the compatibility problem of flash technology widely used in the e-learning content production of existing PC based platform not supporting flash in some mobile platforms is being created while the condition of accompanying inconvenience in learning due to small screen and difference of input interface is being created in case of using the contents for PC even in case of the mobile platforms in which flash is supported. Considering this situation, this study is presenting a content development methodology that can provide services in both platform types based on standard technologies such as HTML 5. In conclusion, the methodology proposed in this study separates the content and the view of learning contents while supporting to enable content implementation using various forms of views based on the content database that has been constructed to show very efficiently characteristics in the content reuse and the multi platform support categories.

This study was conducted for the purpose of analyzing the differences in academic presence and achievement according to the types of e-learning contents development. Content development types were divided into HTML5-based contents, which is interactive contents, and Flash-based contents, which is video presenting type. One group at G high school located in B region learned with HTML5-based contents, and the other group learned with Flash-based contents, and then conducted a survey on the presence and an achievement evaluation. Presence was analyzed through a paired t-test, and the difference in academic achievement was measured through analysis of covariance. As a result of the study, it was found that HTML5-based contents had high levels of presence and academic achievement. Based on the results of the study, the development direction of e-learning contents to be developed in the future was discussed.

While e-learners' satisfaction would be determined by qualify of e-learning environment including learning management systems, learning contents and interactions, the influence of quality on satisfaction can be changed by e-learners' self-regulated efficacy The objective of this study is to show difference of the relationship between qualify and satisfaction In e-learning by self-regulated efficacy. For this purpose, we propose a research model which consists of five quality factors in e-learning as explaining variables, satisfaction as a result variable and self-regulated efficacy as a control variable. For empirical test of this model, the sample is collected from e-learning classes in a college and divided into two groups by self-regulated efficacy in order to analyze the effects of control variable. By multi-group analysis, we show two groups are different from each other in the relationship between quality and satisfaction of e-learning environment.

The educational exchange through e-learning is working very well in such case as develop e-learning, development of various learning tools, cooperative practical use of e-learning contents, etc. However because there were no considerations of LMS(Learning Management System) interconnection when each systems were developed, the exchange through e-learning is starting to raise a problem. Especially the exchange through e-learning between university produced problem for a variety of reasons by absence of direct exchange in every case such as communication of students information, communication of lecture information, etc. Hence in this thesis, I will present designed model about efficient LMS interconnection through analysis case of exchange through e-learning and deduce problem. In the first place I define essential part for study such as lecture establishment data, lecture data, user data, class data, student learning tracking to interconnection data, then constituted data interconnection table used view by data interconnection prcess. By experiment result, the accessibility between students and professors was more convenience, and decreased work process by less data exchange. Henceforth there are researches in development of various essential parts for study, considered security of LMS interconnection.

For the purpose of an effective instruction-learning process by systematic management of knowledge between instructor and learner in e-Learning, we have developed the authoring system in which the instructor is able to author easily on various lecture frames according to the instructional design theory. The authored contents with the relations among the learning objects based on SCORM standard would help learner to conceptualize the contents. A knowledge map is constructed on the relations among the learning objects using RDF of the semantic web. We introduce the ontology in which the instructor can make a dictionary of terminology by registering the words of the teaching area. The learning activity and comprehension of students can be assessed using each student's learning map along the interaction points which are introduced to present the individual learning by considering each student's capacity of understanding and achievement.

The e-Learning quality assurance is a part of responsibility for education in latest information age, and should be understood as a basic direction for qualitative enhancement rather than quantifiable expansion. In such a context, this study sought to survey latest trends of e-Learning quality assurance activities deployed around overseas countries, so that it could give possible implications on how to plan and perform e-Learning quality assurance in Korea. So, this study focused on surveying actual conditions, coverage, target and useful indices of e-Learning quality assurance activities deployed by 9 institutions across 5 countries, and characterizing those activities across 5 countries. As a result, this study could find out its implications such as acquisition of various resources available for e-Learning, nationwide consolidation of e-Learning quality assurance activities, development of specialists in e-Learning quality assurance, and choice and focus for e-Learning quality assurance system. In other words, it was found that e-Learning quality assurance should be approached from nationwide standpoint in the interest of better educational quality, rather than from viewpoint of task.

With advances in smart and ICT(information and communication technology) technologies, our life style has been changing dramatically. Now everybody can enjoy the benefits of such technologies in every aspect of his/her daily life. Currently more and more people are trying to have smart devices such as smart phones and tablet PCs so that smart devices become the bare necessities. New smart technologies have created a new concept called smart learning in education area. As educational smart contents become popular, we need quality standards for the contents. Those standards are essential for evaluating the smart contents and suggesting guidance for future smart contents production. Although there are some standards for the existing e-learning environments, to our best knowledge, there are no standards for educational smart contents in the literature. The purpose of this paper is to develop quality standards for educational smart contents. The proposed quality standards are based on the existing quality standards in e-learning environments and include some characteristics of smart learning. For development of quality standards, wide experts group from academy and industry are selected and surveyed. Their responses are analyzed based on thorough statistical analysis so that final quality standards for educational smart contents are developed.

This study was performed to evaluate the effect of the e-Learning application on the teaching learning method in Technology-Home Economics of Middle School. For e-Learning of clothing part, diverse teaching programs and contents were reconstructed and provided in cyber-space. Among the uploaded diverse materials including advanced and supplementary materials, students could make a choice which depends on their own levels. Since the results of assignments could be uploaded in cyber-space and easily accessible to all students, the reliablity of estimation was increased and self-directed learning ability was improved. Also, more effective teaching learning activity could be expected through the mutual exchange of opinion between students and teacher, and among students. Besides, counselling and advices on overall aspect of student's life were also possible. The students were generally satisfied to e-Learning instruction. The interest and understanding about clothing part were increased, and the academic attitude and habit were positively changed. Also they responded that e-Learning instruction were very helpful because learning was possible even after school, diverse materials for learning were available, and submitting the results of assignments was very convenient. In conclusion, the application of e-Learning on the teaching learning method was very effective and should be encouraged. The development and supplement of diverse programs and contents will be necessary for more successful e-Learning instructions.
