This study is on the spatial composition of accommodation area in accommodation barge. The accommodation barge which is used as living facilities for offshore plants' workers can be classified into Accommodation Work Barge, Accommodation Pipe Lay Barge and Multi-purpose Accommodation Barge. We study on the spatial composition of accommodation area in Accommodation Work Barge, most frequently used, through analyzing G.A drawings of the barges. The spatial composition has great influences into the convenience and amenity for workers' daily life in the accommodation area of accommodation barge. The spatial composition of accommodation area shows many characteristics not in horizontal arrangement on any deck but in vertical space arrangement on layers of decks. The particular types of vertical space composition can be classified into 'Centralized Type' and 'Dispersive Type'. These two types will be the basis of space planning for new accommodation barge.

It's about time we had to think an alternative to recover out insufficient fishery market caused by IMF locally as well as the fishery agreement on Japan and China. The Ministry of Maritime Affairs ＆ Fisheries have planning the advancing fishery information integrated system for the fishing present condition, marine resource administration and applicability consideration. The fishery information communication system is build up to the raw data ＆ process-network-content. The communication system must be small size, low cost and adapted SSB transceiver, that is using fishery shipping. In this paper We present digital data communication network to exchange information for fishery and safety between fishing ship and coast station in cheeper communication fee using SSB(single Side Band) in HF(High Frequency) band.

This paper deals with the study of bird collision avoidance measures in UAM operations from an operator's perspective. Urban air traffic is defined as a next-generation transportation system that uses environmentally friendly electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft to provide transportation services between key points within and around urban centers. For the successful establishment of the UAM industry, it is necessary to ensure safety issues that determine public acceptance. Among the hazards that can occur in aviation operations, preventing bird collisions in urban environments is a measure that can greatly secure operational safety and public acceptance. In addition to physical measures, procedural control measures are required to prevent bird strikes. In order to ensure the safety of UAM operations, this study aims to provide a direction for the establishment of UAM bird collision prevention measures by categorizing bird collision prevention measures into physical and procedural methods and flight sections such as takeoff, landing, and corridor sections. Through this, we hope to contribute to the improvement of the safety of the urban air traffic operation system.

Nautical Publications is a special purpose book, or a specially compiled database, that is issued officially by or on the authority of a Government, authorized Hydrographic Office and is designed to meet the requirements of marine navigation such as SOLAS and PSC. Nautical publications include List of Lights, Sailing directions. The SNPWG(Standardization Nautical Publications Working Group) from the IHO is working to implement in computer systems all those elements of interest for Hydrography and Navigation Concerning nautical publications' digitization process, the SNPWG has defined three types of nautical publications: Type 1 : Hard copy(NP1), Type 2 : Digital version, A slight modification of type 1(NP2), Type 3 : Digital version for ECDIS(NP3). Nautical Publications is essential with nautical charts as reference information to navigate. Development of digital nautical publications is needed for liaison with the chart production system, up-to-dateness of hydrographic information, improvement of service. But, Korean status is positioned in NP1. In our study, we surveyed the present status of nautical publications for development strategy of digital nautical publications. We build database of south coast of sailing direction, develop a manager program, convert the contents to KML( Keyhole Markup Language), develop a user program.

The goals of the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) that initiated by the IMO and supported by IALA, IHO, ITU, IEC and manufacturers are to provide more effective and efficient emergency and safety communications and disseminate Maritime Safety Information (MSI) to all ships on the world's oceans regardless of location or atmospheric conditions. Much of the GMDSS is built on technologies more than 20 years old; some work well; others do not. While GMDSS requirements apply only to SOLAS vessels, there are many other vessels on the water. So some considerations are necessary for non-SOLAS vessels including fishing ships, leisure boats and small boats. This paper describes the analysis of IMO, ITU and IEC meeting results held on recently. Also it gives the trends of the international marine radio standards and its technologies.

Navigation or Portal sites is providing real-time information of roads according to heavy rain in guide services for finding a path recently. Especially "e-traffic alerts" is providing traffic information according to the presence of road flooding and accidents. This research is goal to provide drivers to real-time status information of roads which have the connected its information to support the real-time rainfall information of meteorological office and portal sites. We suggest the evaluation method of risk roads combined the real-time rainfall information and portal information.

The explosive growth of the Internet and the increasing popularity of the World Wide Web have generated significant interest in the development of electronic commerce in a global online marketplace. The rapid adoption of the Internet as a commercial medium is rapidly expanding the necessity of Web advertisement as a new communication channel. if proper Web advertisement could be suggested to the right user, then effectiveness of Web advertisement will be raised and it will help company to earn more profit. So, this article describes a personalized advertisement technique as a part of intelligent customer services for an electronic newspaper provide. Based on customers history of navigation on the electronic newspapers pages, which are divided into several sections such as politics, economics, sports, culture, and so on, appropriate advertisements (especially, banner ads) are chosen and displayed with the aid of machine learning techniques, when customers visit to the site. To verify feasibility of the technique, an application will be made to one of the most popular e-newspaper publishing company in Korea.

Knowledge map is widely used to represent knowledge in many domains. This paper presents a method of integrating the national R&D data and assists of users to navigate the integrated data via using a knowledge map service. The knowledge map service is built by using a lightweight ontology modeling method. The national R&D data is integrated with the research project as its center, i.e., the other R&D data such as research papers, patent, and project reports are connected with the research project as its outputs. The lightweight ontology is used to represent the simple relationships between the integrated data such as project-outputs relationships, document-author relationships, and document-topic relationships. Knowledge map enables us to infer the further relationships such as co-author and co-topic relationships. To extract the relationships between the integrated data, a RDB-to-Triples transformer is implemented. Lastly, we show an experiment on R&D data integration using the lightweight ontology, triples generation, and visualization and navigation of the knowledge map.

AIS-ASM is one of the studies to provide a variety of maritime safety information as well as the information on a ship's position that is their own function, and AIS-ASM has been implemented with adjustment of the relevant regulations since 2004. However, it was reported that the increased use of ASM message on the existing AIS channel affects the part of the existing AIS own function such as the transmission of the ship's position and safe-related information. Also, seamless MSP service is difficult to provide at a low transmission rate of the existing AIS channel. This study aims to reduce the marine officer's workload through automating captain's mandatory reporting items using the one of the next maritime digital communication technology (ASM2.0). For this purpose, we designed and realized the ASM2.0 protocol through analyzing domestic regulations about passenger flight and AIS-ASM message.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of electronic trade's web site usability on the user satisfaction and customer royalty. In order to accomplish the purpose of this study, a research model was established and obtained the results as follows, First, navigation, information structure characteristic, communication has statistically significant effect on user satisfaction. It means users think more important the convenience, approachableness than web site design, visually menu to the information. Also, it represent communication with user is important factor to use web site. Second, user satisfaction has significant influence on customer royalty. This result signifies the user satisfaction of e-trade site is enhanced by support for convenience, reliability, smoothly communication and eventually affect thr revisiting intention of web site
