A Hydrodynamical Simulation of the Off-Axis Cluster Merger Abell 115

  • A merging galaxy cluster is a useful laboratory to study many interesting astrophysical processes such as intracluster medium heating, particle acceleration, and possibly dark matter self-interaction. However, without understanding the merger scenario of the system, interpretation of the observational data is severely limited. In this work, we focus on the off-axis binary cluster merger Abell 115, which possesses many remarkable features. The cluster has two cool cores in X-ray with disturbed morphologies and a single giant radio relic just north of the northern X-ray peak. In addition, there is a large discrepancy (almost a factor of 10) in mass estimate between weak lensing and dynamical analyses. To constrain the merger scenario, we perform a hydrodynamical simulation with the adaptive mesh refinement code RAMSES. We use the multi-wavelength observational data including X-ray, weak-lensing, radio, and optical spectroscopy to constrain the merger scenario. We present detailed comparisons between the simulation results and these multi-wavelength observations.

  • 멀티콥터형 소형 드론의 통합 비행 시뮬레이션 프로그램을 개발한 내용을 소개한다. 드론의 강체 동역학, 프로펠러 추력, 배터리 에너지 변화, 자세 및 경로 제어, 대기 상태 등을 통합적으로 시뮬레이션 하여 비행경로에 따라 드론의 상태를 분석할 수 있다. 프로그램 개발을 위하여 모델리카 언어를 선정하였는데, 모델리카는 비인과적, 객체지향적 특성을 갖추고 있어서, 프로그램 개발의 효율을 높일 수 있다. 수평 수직 이동이 포함된 가상 임무에 대하여, 시뮬레이션 결과를 이용하여 드론의 동적 거동을 분석하였다.

COSMIC RAYS ACCELERATED AT SHOCK WAVES IN LARGE SCALE STRUCTURE

  • Shock waves form in the intergalactic space as an ubiquitous consequence of cosmic structure formation. Using N-body/hydrodynamic simulation data of a ACDM universe, we examined the properties of cosmological shock waves including their morphological distribution. Adopting a diffusive shock acceleration model, we then calculated the amount of cosmic ray energy as well as that of gas thermal energy dissipated at the shocks. Finally, the dynamical consequence of those cosmic rays on cluster properties is discussed.

  • In this paper We have developed the high-speed controller for haptic control. The proposed controller is based on the PCI/FPGA technology which can calculate the real position and transmit the force data to device rapidly. The haptic system is composed of 6DOF force display device high-speed controller. The developed system will be used on constructing the dynamical virtual environment. To show the efficiency of our system we designed simulation program of force-reflecting. As the result of the experiment we found that the controller has much higher resolution than some other controller It is so efficient in a 1 PC-based system with 1[kHz] haptic interrupt cycle.

  • Our unicycle robot has simple mechanical structure. But unicycle's dynamical system is a very sensitive unstable system. Equation of motion of this simple unicycle robot was derived using Lagrange's method. In this paper a human inference control mechanism was established throughout an inquiry into hyman riding a unicycle, and we developed a hybrid controller to control our unicycle robot. Our controller is consisted with the PD and fuzzy controller containing fuzzy gain scheduling technique. Computer simulation shows good results.

  • In this paper, we present new methods for solving the inverse kinematics associated with 6 degree of freedoms manipulator by the numerical method. This method will be based on tracking stability of special nonlinear dynamical systems, and differs from the typical techniques based by the Newton-Gauss or Newton-Raphson method for solving nonlinear equations. This simulation results show that the new method is solving the inverse kinematics of PUMA 560 without the derivative of a given task space trajectories.

  • The present paper deals with the problem of nonselective harvesting in a partly infecte prey and predator system in which both the suseptible prey and the predator follow the law of logistic growth and some preys avoid predation by hiding. The dynamical behaviour of the system has been studied in both the local and global sense. The optimal policy of exploitation has been derived by using Pontraygin's maximal principle. Numerical analysis and computer simulation of the results have been performed to inverstigate the global properties of the system.

  • PMDSPH is a combined 3D particle-mesh and SPH code aimed to simulate the self-consistent dynamical evolution of spiral galaxies including live stellar and collisionless dark matter components, as well as an isothermal gas component. This paper describes some aspects of this code and shows how its application to the Milky Way helps to recover the gas flow within the Galactic bar region from the observed HI and CO longitude-velocity distributions.

  • A control scheme for the Voltage-sourced PWM converter based on space vector equations is introduced. The main advantages of this new control scheme are that sinusoidal line currents with nearly unity power factor, ripple-free DC voltage output are achevied without current sensors. The dynamical equations with battery model is derived. The proposed scheme is verified by computer simulation.

  • 순환결합형 신경회로망은 복수 개의 리미트사이클을 생성하며 따라서, 많은 동적 정보를 저장할 수 있는 메모리 시스템으로 사용할 수 있다는 것이 알려져 있다. 본 논문에서는 각 뉴런이 최근접 뉴런에만 이진화한 결합하중 ${\pm}1$로 연결된 연속 시간모델 순환결합형 신경회로망을 구현하였다. 그리고 이런 회로망을 통해 생성되는 리미트사이클의 수와 패턴을 시뮬레이션을 통하여 나타내었다. 또한 카오스 신호를 인가하여 리미트사이클 사이의 천이 가능성을 입증하였다. 특히, 카오스 신호 이외의 랜덤 노이즈를 이용한 해석을 통하여 동적 신경회로망에 카오스 노이즈를 인가하는 경우의 유효성을 검토하였다.
