산업위생기사의 일반적 특성에 따른 직무스트레스와 직무만족도 (Job Stress and Satisfaction by General Characteristics of Engineers Industrial Hygiene Management)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate job stress and satisfaction by general characteristics of engineers industrial hygiene management, and we expect to provide basic data for strategic plan to strengthen the role related to the job. Methods: The subjects of this study was 184 persons who belong to the Korean Industrial Health Association, and 178 completed questionnaires were analyzed. The survey was conducted from June 29 to July 3, 2015. Conclusions: It is necessary to decrease the stress caused by additional job through increasing manpower and developing detailed manual according to the position and systematic job assignment considering general characteristics. Also, it is judged that job satisfaction should increase by vitalizing mentoring, club, small group activity in workplace for maintaining and improving good personal relationship with team members, and implementing incentive system to acknowledge and reward personal duty result.

위탁선사 실습생의 승선실습 만족도에 관한 기초 연구 (A Basic Study on the Satisfaction of On-board Training for Cadets in Shipping Company)

  • The one-year onboard training, which has been implemented since 1988 according to the STCW Convention in 1978, is a crucial part of cadets' training and education. The choice of training shipping company is important that like a internship. This basic study is for the satisfaction at the shipping companies that trains cadets the Mokpo National Maritime University. The satisfaction for onboard training consists of a conscious, educational and environmental parts with six demographic characteristics and carried out the questionnaire survey of 206 cadets in shipping companies. The low parts of satisfaction are implemented cross tabulation analysis and in-depth interview for realize the reason. In this paper, the satisfaction from environmental part($3.83{\pm}0.75$) is high but conscious part($3.35{\pm}0.86$) and educational part($3.33{\pm}0.79$) are low. In demographic characteristics, male in gender, apprentice officer in duty, others in kind of crew, container in kind of vessel and 30,000~100,000 tons in size of vessel are high satisfaction in general. Specifically, feeding service($4.02{\pm}0.75$) in environment, influence on future vision($3.65{\pm}0.84$) in consciousness, goal for training($3.50{\pm}0.65$) in education showed the highest level in satisfaction.

간호사의 인문학적 소양과 감성지능 및 의사소통능력 (The Effects of Humanistic Knowledge and Emotional Intelligence on Communication Skills of Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate humanistic knowledge, emotional intelligence, and communication skills among nurses and to identify factors influencing the communication skills of nurses in five hospitals. Methods: Data were collected from 248 nurses in hospitals from August 25 to September 9, 2015. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlations and enter method regression analysis using the SPSS/Win 22.0 program. Results: There were significant differences in humanistic knowledge according to religion, education, work department, number of night duty, pay level satisfaction, job satisfaction, and job performance. There were significant differences in emotional intelligence according to all general characteristics. There were significant differences in communication skills according to education, position, number of night duty, and job performance. Communication skills showed positive correlations with humanistic knowledge and emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence correlated positively with humanistic knowledge. Emotional intelligence was a significant predictor and accounted for 32% of variance in the communication skills. Conclusion: To strengthen communication skills, programs need to be complemented in order to promote humanistic knowledge and emotional intelligence for nurses.

  • The volume of transfer passengers now faces a crisis because the number of Chinese and Japanese passengers, the majority of transfer through Korea, is decreasing. This paper is analyzing the their air travel behaviors as well as characteristics of their transfer behaviors at airport. According to the research, it is suggested that transfer passengers perceive the importance of duty-free stores but their satisfaction of using duty-free stores during their transfer at Icheon airport was proven to be low. Considering the characteristics of transfer service quality at Incheon airport, waiting time of transfer is important but not satisfactory for them. Moreover, information of free transfer tour to city downtown and paid-in transfer tour for medical tourism is not known very well among North East Asian passengers. Thus, it is necessary to do detailed research of North East Asian transfer passengers, who have transferred through Incheon airport more than twice a year, to find out their exact needs of transfer tour in Korea.

요양병원 소방안전관리의 효율화 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effective Method of Fire Safety Management of Geriatric Hospitals)

  • Currently many geriatric hospitals have been built in Korea because increasing aging rapidly. However the increasing geriatric hospitals make the increasing safety accidents. Therefore this study is conducted by survey and face-to-face talk with the fire safety managers for analyzing safety problem of geriatric hospitals which number is twelve among 15 geriatric hospitals in the north of Chung-buk area. The result of this study is that geriatric hospitals are very old. Fire safety managers holding the fire safety license are a level 2 issued by the Korea Fire Safety Association(KFSA). And the fire safety inspection ability of them is normal (58%). Furthermore a fire safety budget ratio is 83% (A little) in the company yearly budget. And ratio having the fire inspection equipment in the building is 42% (A little) and 33% (Nothing). Satisfaction ratio of their duty is 66% and they also get stress from heavy duty and heavy responsibility. In conclusion, CEO needs to invest and interest the improvement of job performance, satisfaction ratio and fire safety facility. Also government needs the improvement of system to support and supervise the fire safety of geriatric hospitals consistently.

재외한인여성의 직업생활비교 - 미국, 중국, 러시아.중앙아시아 지역 한인여성을 중심으로 - (Differences in Working Life of Overseas Korean Women - Focusing on America, China, and Russia.Central Asia -)

  • This study investigated the general trends and differences in the working life of overseas Korean women. The subjects were 872 working Korean women over 20 years of age living abroad in America, China, and Russia Central Asia. The subjects completed a questionnaire on working life and the data were analyzed using SPSS. The working environment of Korean-American women was not stable. Many Korean-American women worked to help the home economy. They were paid by the hour, day and week. On the other hand, many Korean-Chinese women worked for self-achievement and usually for 8 hours a day. The working life of Korean women in Russia Central Asia was not good. They had a small income and worked to help the home economy. The first variables for changing their occupation were income and bonus. Despite their unstable working environment, overseas Korean women estimated their working life positively. They rated scores higher than the median on job satisfaction, business importance, duty ability, duty adaptation and family support. Job stress showed lower scores than the median. Korean women in Russia Central Asia showed lower scores on job satisfaction, family support, and work time flexibility than the other two groups.

인천국제공항에서 환승하는 중국인.일본인의 환승만족도에 대한 차이분석 (A Comparative Study of Satisfaction of Chinese and Japanese Transit Passengers at Incheon International Airport)

  • This paper tried to find out what the main factors are to impact on satisfaction level of transit passengers at Incheon airport. Incheon airport has made lots of transit facilities and services to attract transit passengers from neighboring airports to increase transit rate as high as advanced foreign airports such as Heathrow, Schiphol and Hong Kong. A survey was performed on 450 transit passengers resting at airport transit lounge in airside area. According to the result, it was found out to be significant factors affecting satisfaction of transit that convenience of security screening, price of duty-free product, a direction board & signage and terminal orientation among Chinese transit passengers. On the other hands, it seemed that Japanese transit passengers thought diversity of airline routes, convenient transfer flight schedule, total transit time and terminal orientation are major variables affecting their satisfaction. Considering the effect of demographic factors, Chinese passenger's satisfaction was more affected by age, travel purpose, the number of travel per year and flight destinations. However, Japanese transit passenger's satisfaction was only affected by the flight destinations, especially willing to travel to North America and Europe.

공공도서관 직원의 직무만족과 도서관 서비스 품질과의 관계 연구 (A Study on the Relationship between Service Quality and Librarian's Job Satisfaction in Public Libraries)

  • 도서관의 성과를 이용자에게 제공하는 서비스의 품질 강화라고 할 때, 이에 영향을 미치는 요소로서 도서관 내부인적자원의 능력이 검토되어야 한다. 본 연구는 공공도서관 직원의 직무만족과 이용자가 인식하는 서비스 품질간의 관계를 밝히기 위해 서울 인천 경기 지역 10개의 공공도서관을 대상으로 직원의 직무만족도와 $LibQUAL+^{TM}$모형을 적용한 도서관서비스 품질을 조사하였다. 그 결과 직무만족 중 직무자체 요인과 조직요인의 만족도가 높을수록 서비스 품질이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 도서관 고객 만족도 향상을 위해 직원의 직무만족에 대한 제고가 필요한 것으로 판단되며, 이에 따른 실무적 함의를 논의하였다.

  • 본 연구는 민간경비원의 질을 향상시키기 위한 방안으로 교육훈련만족도가 직무수행에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구를 수행하기 위해 신임교육을 받은 민간경비원을 대상으로 설문조사를 수행하였다. 교육훈련만족도가 직무수행에 미치는 영향을 실증적 연구를 통하여 분석한 결과 교육훈련만족도와 사회적지지, 직무수행의 요인들에 대한 상관관계에서는 통계적으로 정적인 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 교육훈련만족도가 직무몰입에 미치는 영향에서는 교육과정, 교육행정, 교수강의 능력이 직무몰입에 정(+)영향이 나타났으며 직무에 몰입하기 위해서는 교육시설보다는 체계적이고 효과적인 교육과정과 행정, 강의능력이나 교육내용이 필요하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 사회적지지가 직무수행에 미치는 영향에서는 사회적지지가 직무수행에서 직무몰입과 이직의도에 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 사회적으로 교육훈련을 지지해 주었을 때 직무몰입과 이직의도가 상승한다는 것으로 사회적지지인 경비원의 교육기회제공과 교육비제공, 교육의 중요성 인식을 통하여 경비원교육을 받을 수 있는 업무조건의 사회적환경이 되었을 때 직무효과를 향상 시킬 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

간호사의 임파워먼트와 직무만족이 간호업무성과에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Empowerment and Job Satisfaction on Nursing Performance of Clinical Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to identify factors that affect nursing performance; Those factors are personal characteristics, sub-categories of empowerment and job satisfaction of clinical nurses. Methods: Data were collected from November 24, 2012 to March 11, 2013, and participants were 451 hospital nurses in 6 hospitals. Descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression were used for data analysis. Results: Nurses who were older, married, highly educated, in the position of charge nurse, and with longer clinical careers showed relatively higher empowerment, higher job satisfaction, and higher nursing performance than others. Also, there were strong correlations between nursing performance and empowerment (r=.576)/job satisfaction (r=.617). Factors predicted nursing performance were relationship with coworkers (${\beta}=.398$), duty (${\beta}=.181$), promotion system (${\beta}=.134$), and turnover intention (${\beta}=-.109$). Factors predicting job satisfaction were competency of empowerment (${\beta}=.249$), and clinical career (${\beta}=.151$). These 6 factors explained 55.2% of the variance in nursing performance (F=93.37, <.001). Conclusion: Regarding human resource management, relationship with co-workers is a changeable factor. Therefore nursing organizations should apply these factors in human resource management to enhance nursing performance and achieve organizational goals.
