이중분사식 수소기관의 비정상 열부하 해석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Unsteady Thermal Loading of Hydrogen Engine with Dual Injection)

  • To measure of thermal loading in the combustion chamber of hydrogen engine with dual injection, instantaneous wall-surface temperature and unsteady heat flux of the cylinder head are measured and analyzed. The maximum wall surface temperature is shown in direct injection region which has large heat supplied. Partial and spatial temperatures have slight deviation in transient region of injection, though injection method change suddenly. All of thermal characteristics such as instantaneous temperature, temperature swing and heat flux of hydrogen engine with dual injection are remarkably higher than those of gasoline engine. It means necessity of additional countermeasure of thermal loading.

  • This paper proposes the design of microstrip patch antennas for dual-band polarization adjustment. The antenna has a multi-layer structure for dual-band operation, and each layer contains a resonating patch with surrounding strips separated into two parts. The antenna polarization is adjusted by varying the separated positions of the strips, while fixing other design parameters. To demonstrate the feasibility, an antenna sample with right-hand circular polarization is fabricated, and its antenna characteristics are measured in a full anechoic chamber. The operating principle of polarization adjustment in the dual frequency bands is also verified by observing near electromagnetic fields and the magnetic surface current density around the antenna.

  • In this paper, a novel compact broadband dual frequency microstrip antenna is presented. The meander type patch has been designed to have dual resonant frequencies, and the ground with slot was employed to expand the bandwidth in WCDMA band. The simulated results were obtained using HFSS, and the measurement on the proposed antenna was conducted in an anechoic chamber equipped with a network analyzer and a far field measurement system. As a result, measured maximum gain of antenna is 2.07$\sim$2.87 dBi in the GSM band and 3.91$\sim$5.61 dBi in the WCDMA band.

  • EDDC(Evaporation using Drum in Dual Chamber) deposition system was manufactured for 100m long superconducting coated conductor. It is composed of reaction chamber, evaporation chamber and differential chamber. The drum is located across the differential and exposed to both of the evaporation chamber and the reaction chamber, and the tape is wound on the drum. The elements of superconducting material are co-evaporated from respective element boats in the evaporation chamber and deposited on the drum and reacted with oxygen in the reaction chamber. This process repeats by rotating the drum. When the total pressure of the reaction chamber was 5 mTorr, that of the evaporation chamber was $5{\sim}10^{-5}$Torr. This atmosphere can be achieved by means of differential pumping. There are four evaporator in the evaporation chamber. One is the radiation heating evaporator and the others are the high frequency induction evaporator. EDDC is one of promising methods for commercialization of superconducting coated conductor.

Dual-energy 컴퓨터단층촬영에서 장비 제공선량과 측정선량 비교 (Comparison of Estimated and Measured Doses of Dual-energy Computed Tomography)

  • We will provide basic data on the evaluation of patient dose in terms of DECT quality control by comparing the equipment-provided dose with the measured dose according to the configuration method of the X-ray generator by the manufacturer of the dual-energy CT unit. For computed tomography (CT) equipment, Discovery 750HD, Aquilion ONE GENESIS Edition, and Somatom Definition Flash were used. The $CTDI_{vol}$ value was measured by inserting the Unfors Xi ion chamber into a 32 cm PMMA acryl Phantom. The results of estimated $CTDI_{vol}$ DECT and measured $CTDI_{vol}$ showed that the dose difference between DECT 80 + 140 kVp of G company was at least 0.51% and -1.90% max, and measured $CTDI_{vol}$ was slightly lower (p<0.05). The difference of 80 + 140 kVp of S company was the minimum of 5.84% and the maximum of 7.52% (p<0.05). The measured $CTDI_{vol}$ was less than estimated $CTDI_{vol}$. The C company's 80 + 135 kVp showed a difference of at least 7.58% and a maximum of 13.58% (P<0.05), and all of measured $CTDI_{vol}$ was less. The linearity of exposure dose for all DECT equipment was very linearly reflected with $R^2$ being 0.97 or above, and the measured dose of the ionization chamber was less than the predicted dose of the monitor.

  • 피부 T 세포림프종에 대하여 4MeV 의 전자선으로 전 피부 방사선 조사를 시행하였다. 피부전체의 균일한 선량분포를 위하여 스탠포드대학의 방법으로 알려져 있는 six dual field 기법을 사용하였다. SSD 는 390cm로 하였으며 방사선 조사시의 gantry 의 각은 환자의 중심을 지나는 수평축에 대하여 상ㆍ하로 14$^{\circ}$가 되도록 하였다. 전자콘을 설치해야만 전자선 조사가 가능하므로 최대의 전자콘인 25$\times$25cm콘을 사용하였다. 치료면에서의 선량분포의 균일성을 확인하기 위하여 치료면에 90$\times$180cm의 폴리스틸렌을 설치하고 Famer type ion chamber와 측정용 필름을 사용하여 측정하였다. 그 결과 치료면에서 10% 정도의 균일함을 보였다. 환자의 자세를 하루에 세가지씩 이틀에 걸쳐 여섯가지 자세를 한 주기로 치료를 시행하였다. 선량이 부족한 정수리, 회음부, 발바닥 등은 따로 추가의 방사선을 조사하였다. 렌즈와 손톱, 발톱은 차폐물을 제작하여 차폐하였다.

  • The measurement study of instantaneous temperature at combustion chamber wall and the temperature of combustion gas has been under lots of research and development to conclude the temperature process in internal combustion engine for combustion characteristics analysis. The measurement with fast responsibility should be used for temperature measurement inside combustion chamber wall since temperature of wall changes, due to the various gas temperature, irregularly during the combustion. Therefore, thin film instantaneous surface temperature probe, which characterizes the fastest and the most accurate responsibility among contact typed temperature measurement, was used for the experiments. This new thin film instantaneous surface temperature probe improved the problems of noise and durability. The optimal coating thickness of thin film instantaneous surface temperature probe was proven to be $10{\mu}m$ for the best responsibility and durability. It also allowed the stable temperature measurement be taken up to $1,200^{\circ}C$ and proven to be read possibly from the combustion chamber wall.

  • 고체 추진 로켓 내부 연소실의 비정상 유동을 수치적으로 해석하였다. 완전 보존식을 이용하여 2 차원 축-대칭 연소실 안의 연소 불안정을 해석하기 위한 수치 기법을 구성하였는데 비정상 유동을 해석하기 위한 수정된 $\kappa$-$\varepsilon$ 난류 모델이 사용되었다. 이산화한 지배 방정식은 연관된 경계 조건을 포함하여 dual time-stepping 방법으로 시적분 하였다. 정상 상태의 계산을 기반으로 연소실 내의 천이 압력파의 비정상 상태를 수치적으로 모사하기 위하여 압력 펄스 및 압력 변동을 연소실 상단에 부과하였다. 로켓 모터 연소실 내의 다양한 정상 상태 및 비정상 상태의 특성을 계산 및 해석하였다.

  • For the sea-level performance test of rocket motor designed to operate in the upper atmosphere, ejectors with no induced secondary flow are generally used, which serves dual purposes of evacuating the test cell and performing as a supersonic exhaust diffuser (SED). The main concern of this research is to simulate starting transients in order to visualize evolution of internal shock structures in SED with different initial cell (vacuum chamber) pressures. RANS code with low Reynolds $k-\varepsilon$ turbulence model was employed for these computations. Numerical results were compared with the pressure measurements previously performed [Proceedings of 2004 Annual Conference, KIMST], and showed good agreements with pressure-time history of measured data. In the case of low vacuum chamber pressure, abrupt impingement of the under-expanded supersonic jet from the nozzle onto the diffuser wall was observed, whereas initial impingement point was located downstream and moved slowly upstream in the case of non-vacuum chamber pressure. In spite of initially dissimilar evolution of shock structures, iso-mach contour revealed that the steady shock structures had little difference except the location of flow separation and normal shock.
